Barry YOU need to understand that it is the AIRLINES, not the manufacturer that determines the interior lay out of the passenger cabin !!! DUUUUUHH!!!!!!!!!
Barry Lenihan, A 787 could just as easily have a 2-4-2 seat configuration as the A330. An A330 could just as easily be equipped with a more cramped seat configuration. It is the airline's decision as much as the manufacturer.
@@AMERICANPATRIOT1945 I'm aware of that, but having flown in both aircraft, although the A330 was the 200 series, I am simply expressing my opinion that I preferred the 2-4-2 configuration in the A330 to the 3-3-3 configuration in the B787. The A330 and B777 dominated the wide-body market in the early days of the 787 and A350, so the 787 and A350 are being increasingly popular these days when many of the A330 and 777 are being retired by airlines. The same may happen with the A330neo and 777X in near future...
Trung Hoa Dang Thanks for your comment. Yep, the new A350 and 787 are certainly the future of our aviation industry. Thanks for watching and do stay tuned for more great videos on the way!
Personally, I see the same rivalry as the 787 and the A330neo, the 777x and the A330neo are planes that somehow defend themselves against the competition. Many airlines wanted to replace their A330-200s with 787s and this one is selling pretty well on the market so Airbus wanted to keep the A330 in the race with the Neo but that's just not enough. The 787 is a much more advanced and comfortable aircraft with better fuel economy and is an all new model. It's exactly the same for the A350 and the 777x. The companies intended to replace their 777 and A380 with A350 (in particular Air France), and there Boeing wanted to maintain the 777 (which is a success) with the 777x which is like the A330neo, a more economical, more efficient version and with more capacity than older versions. But only, the 787 and the A350 are simply better because they are superior advanced technology aircraft and much more economical and efficient with their carbon composition. Both of these if are best in class, a brand new more advanced aircraft will always sell and outperform an old upgraded aircraft. Especially since the A330neo and the 777x keep their old heavy fuselage in aluminum metal while the A350 and the 787 have their fuselage in carbon, much lighter and which reduces fuel consumption and makes the cabin quieter and which suddenly makes these planes more comfortable. On the other hand, the 777x has a better chance of withstanding the competition thanks to freight and cargo variables and also the fact that companies can use it to replace their A380 or 747 while keeping almost the same amount of passengers per flight and that with less fuel consumed and much more efficiency.
Despite being an airbus guy, it is difficult to say the A330 is better or even equal than the 787. The latter will outperform in pretty much everything. I am still to travel in the A330neo, however as an economy passenger, I personally do not like to 787 (much prefer the 777 or 747). Just give an opinion about the video: I would suggest to include the numbers on the screen, side by side, as you narrate. This way it gets easier to compare, without have to go back a few seconds to remember and compare. Cheers!
Felipe Teixeira Thanks for the suggestion! Will do so in future videos! Yeah both are great aircraft, though the A330neo offers more to Economy passengers. Thanks for watching and do stay tuned for more great videos on the way!
lionstar2222 Thanks for your comment. Personally, the 787 has Lower fuel burn and costs so I do think it is the more efficient aircraft. 777 is a larger aircraft with more performance. Thanks for watching and do stay tuned for more great videos on the way!
@@Wha2les it's more of a personal preference.... The only advantage of the 787 over the 777 that I value is that it is less noisy. Moisture and pressure don't affect me too much. But I value a lot seating.... And at least in the 787 I've flown, it's was less comfortable and more cramped than the 777. Just as an example, Once I had a 14h flight in a 777 and immediately after a connection in a 787 (both Qatar Airways) and I had a better experience in the 777
Maybe interesting to point out, the Trent 1000 used in the 787 and Trent 7000 used in the A330N are the same engine. The difference being theTrent 7000 still is a bleed engine. So bleed air is used in the A330NEO for AC etc., this is not the case in the 787 which accounts for some fuel savings.
Having flown on both, you can't beat the lower cabin altitude and AC systems compared to the Airbus. Make for a far better and less fatiguing experience.
Roger Awang It is cheaper indeed, though ironically the list price for A330-900 is actually higher than 787-9 though airlines will probably receive a larger discount. Thanks for tuning in!
Perhaps there could also be a comparison of the development costs for the airframe manufacturers, and of the number of planes that need to be sold to break even and recover those development costs. I understand the clean-sheet development of the Boeing 787 Dreamliner was very high, and Wikipedia reports an estimate of 1300 to 2000 units must be sold to recover the $32B development cost. I'd love to see an analysis of these numbers. On Wikipedia, it says Boeing has sold 1006 Dreamliners as of July 2021. And what would the development costs and break-even number be for the Airbus A330neo, they must be much lower. Airbus has only delivered 63 planes on 338 orders for the A330neo, so they must have some ways to go until breakeven. On the other hand, maybe the Airbus business case is not to make a significant profit, but just to hold on to existing mid-market customers until other offerings like the A321 XLR can roll out. It does seem that the Airbus A330neo is more of a defensive move from Airbus, meant more to dampen the success of the Boeing 787 Dreamliner rather than to blaze new trails. It is the A321neo, A321 LR and coming A321 XLR that are opening up new markets coming from below (in terms of size, cost and range) where Boeing has no competitive offering, not even on the drawing boards. It would be nice if Boeing could get its act together and offer Airbus some healthy competition before the Chinese Comac and China-Russia joint venture start to grab market share, at least in China and Russia and maybe developing economies.
D O Double G Thanks for tuning in! Yep, the Dreamliner is indeed the better aircraft. Do check out this latest comparison right here -> m.ruclips.net/video/y05JQS1JRKM/видео.html
The B787 seems to have the edge for the bottom line of most Carriers, for airlines already operating the A330 CEO I can see how the A330 NEO would make sense for Pilot commonality. It also seems like an order for a B787 today would have a far greater backlog than for an A330 NEO. As a passenger, the A330 is my favorite airplane and the 2-4-2 configuration is more preferable.
given that the 330 neo is a much younger aircraft type, much depends on whether the older 330 ceo airline operators would order the neo to replace the ceo over time... a more interesting stat would have been: how many 330 ceo operators have shifted to the 787?
Tony de Castro Thanks for your comment. Yep, the A330neo is targetted to replace A330, though many such as Singapore Airlines have switched to the larger 787-10. Still, there are many A330 Operators like Qantas that may choose the Neo to replace older crafts. Thanks for watching and do stay tuned for more great videos on the way!
Tony, it is hard to say. The 10yrs gap between the two aircraft has definitely left the market open for boeing's picking. Although many main stream carriers like American, AF-KLM, Singapore Airlines and even Qantas have switched to the B787, there are many more A330ceo out there that needs replacement. Many airlines are opting to operate both aircraft type in their fleet.
the 787 has always been compared to the a350 but the a350 really should be compared to the 777 or 777x. but that just speaks to how good the 787 is. the a330neo and 787 are in the same class but the 787 wins easily. the most versatile widebody, 787-9 runs the 3rd longest flight in the world. qantas carrying 236 ppl. the united 787-10 can carry 318 people from new york to tel aviv and the 787 doesnt use engine bleed which saves on fuel and wsted power. the a330neo is an update of an old plane the 787 is built from the ground up.
@@xRay93x was it a typo and you meant to type a350-900 ~787-10 350-900 219 feet 350-1000 242 feet 777-200 209 feet 777-300er 242 777-8 229 feet 777-9 251 a330 neo engines are rated for 68-72k pounds of thrust. 787 engines are 64k to 76... a350-900 is 84k and a 350-1000 is 97k
These two planes are marvels I love them both. But I must say that I prefer the A330neo a little more, which is more refined and has a slightly more modern cabin than the 787 dreamliner. But both are beautiful planes!
Given the advancement of narrow body aircraft like the A321 XLR and others that are likely to come, these 2 aircraft are likely to get squeezed out, particularly the A330 Neo. The 787 has the legs to stay ahead of narrow bodies, plus a bigger version that narrow bodies can't match, and the 787 could also support a freight version. I just don't see how the A330 can stay relevant, even if these comments show passengers love it.
Simple. A321XLR can't carry large number of passengers and doesn't have sufficient range for medium haul flights. A330 neo and b787 will fill these gaps.
You're wrong about the max thrust output with the most powerful on the 787....the GEnx 1b 78/p2 produces a maximum of 80,400 lbs of thrust..... this is just something that I've noticed but other than that I love the comparison
This is so close. Having read negative things from employees working for Boeing in South Carolina regarding the 787, I feel reluctant to ever want to fly in one. This reminds me so much of the 737 MAX debacle and the possibility of Boeing covering up things which may come to the surface later on as the 787 has more time in the air. You don't hear such things with Airbus. So to stay on the side of caution, I believe I would choose the A330 Neo.
Eh well once a a330 also decided to make a nose dive without the pilot doing things but because the plane flew higer and the pilots were skilled the plane didnt crash but many got bad injuries (i belive it was qantas 72) or that time an a380 engine blew up and destroyed parts of the wing or that time an a320 flew into some trees because the engines responded very slow that crash killed 3 people. And i mean yeah its true the 737M also wasnt very save. But i mean that doesnt say airbus is save i mean in 2001 a a300 ripped of its tail after the copilot putting stress on it. Stress wich any plane should have handled but this was a overlooked design flaw and it killed more than 200 passangers i believe. So at the end of the day both builders have made flawed planes it just that boeing gets a lot more blame. And if you look at deaths per flight hours both builders build save planes but boeing planes operate in worse qualatiy countries
You are absolutely right. The A330 is slightly nose down on thr ground. Thats why for the 200f version, Airbus opted for a weird bubble to level the airplane. Thanks for tuning in!
I've personally lost faith in Boeing as an aircraft manufacturer. If I had a choice between the 787 and A330neo I'd go for the A330neo. Now I know someone will tell me about the paint issue on the A350s....
You're right, its not... sorry made a mistake but it is one of the best selling with 1809 orders. 777 including the 777x sold 2020. Thanks for tuning in :)
they're both awesome but as passenger I think I'd rather fly the neo, I don't want my window to be controlled by other ppl overall I prefer the 787 tho

@@77l96 But normally when we compare about the noise, we should consider the noise level from inside since aircraft are normally designed based on the experience of passengers. Bryan Sagor Thanks for watching. Yep, one of the rare A330neo aircraft that visit Singapore Changi. Great looking as well! Thanks for watching and do stay tuned for more great videos on the way!
Let me put this straight. If you are looking forward to explore the future of aviation and the fancy technologies, you may want to consider flying on the 787. However; if you are an old-schooler, or a 90's kid growing up in the 90's and the 2000's, prefer to bring back your childhood nostalgia, the A330neo is your buddy.
To all my bias Airbus friends who believe in the superiority of Airbus, can you explain why in 2021 the first 5 months of the year Boeing has sold 380 planes ( 580 if we include the 200 from United in June ) Airbus has a net order of -35 planes (+ 35 if we include the United order in June ) only one 330 order. By the way I do not need an explanation the numbers speak loud enough. The decision is made not by you and I because we like or dislike a plane but by the executive of an airline
Boeing had 599 gross orders for the first six months of 2021 but also had 356 cancellations giving 243 net orders. Boeing delivered 156 aircraft over this period and Airbus delivered 293. Nearly twice the deliveries means almost twice the revenue and those numbers can be spoken with a whisper.
The Airbus list price is similar to the 787 for marketing purposes only. It’s to say thi is our 787 competitor, not the A350. You will find after negotiations that the A330 neo will be heavily discounted to give it a significant acquisition cost advantage over the Boeing. I’d go for the A330 neo because it is a matured design with refreshed engines and interior. It also has great cargo carrying capacity that give it additional flexibility and money making potential. Finally I think it looks better aesthetically with classic lines and large engines giving it a more classy look than the 787.
From a passenger point of view and with typical U.S. airline seating configurations, it's no contest: the 2-4-2 A330neo beats the 3-3-3 787 hands down. Having recently flown an American 787 transatlantic, I'd shop around next time and given the choice I'd never select the Boeing again. As originally envisaged (2-4-2) the Boeing would have been a great aircraft.
I think both of them are suitable for long haul low cost airlines such as jetstar or air Asia x, 787-8 and a330neo will give them a great advantage such as relatively lower cost per unit than a350 or 777 family. 787-8 and a330neo are both leading fuel efficient per trip which will help low cost airlines gain more revenue
Trevis Dias Interesting one! May do it in the future but I am not particularly into turboprops. Still, I will study a comparison :) Thanks for your idea!
If I had the money to buy one I would actually buy the a330 neo. It’s quieter, smoother on landing, looks better ( in opinion) and does not have that whinny ass high pitched noise coming from the a/c or auxiliary power or whatever it is that makes that sound on the 787.
Pharaoh of Kemet Thanks for your comment. Yep, Airbus always has the more comfortable cabin. I have no idea where the noise come from but it is most audible in the Economy cabin, and it is very loud. Thanks for watching and do stay tuned for more great videos on the way!
A330 neo every day as a passenger. The 787 would be on par for me if airlines had kept it 2-8-2 in economy class. But now that almost every 787 is configured 3-3-3, I avoid them like the plague. Also, the remote dimmable windows suck! I don't want the sky waitresses to control my window!
Both aircraft are good in their own ways. One is not better than the other. It is what suits the individual airlines better. Airlines like Qantas which uses the aircraft for long haul service will find the B787 better while airlines like TAP with more short to medium range routes will find the A330neo better. It would be interesting to see how GE comes into the picture for the A330neo. If airbus finds themselves lowering the thrust specification by around 15% for the GE engines on the A330neo, this may make the smaller A330-800 an attractive NMA replacement.
Ching Wei Xion Thanks for your comment. Yep, on shorter routes the A330neo works out as efficient as 787, but it must be sold at around 30 million less in terms of capital cost for airlines to justify choosing it over the 787, which is more efficient on Long routes. Thanks for watching and do stay tuned for more great videos on the way!
@@oneskyflyer - If airlines are operating A330ceo's a A330neo/A350-900/A350-900ULR configuration would be similar to B787-9/B787-10 configuration. Airbus could create a A330neo, A350-900 and/or A350-900ULR package with a package discount if airlines order the package.
@@oneskyflyer not quite. Looking at CASM itself the A330neo is already almost matching. You still have airport landing tax etc. The B787 always pay for higher taxes due to its higher MTOW (254t vs 242t). On short haul, these additional MTOW are wasted as the aircraft only needs it on long haul operations. This will be sufficient tip the short haul economics in favour of the A330neo. So you definitely do not need the 30 million discount to make the A330neo favorable. This is apparent in the sales order. After the launch of the A330neo, sales of the B787 has slowed significantly. In fact for the period of last 5 years, new orders for both aircraft are not that far off. On top of this, you have your acquisition cost which although at listed price is higher than the B787, airbus will definitely match whatever prices boeing can offer on the B787. The economics can be further boosted by having a high density 9 abreast configuration in economy making it even lower than the B787. This is not an option for the B787 as the default configuration is already at the higher end. Hence why we see the A330neo gains huge favour amongst LCC operators like AirAsia, lion Air and cebu Pacific.
List price means nothing to be fair. AB offer better reductions on the 330NEO than Boeing can on the 787. You mentioned that at the beginning of the video and then contradicted yourself in your conclusions in order to justify a preference .. The 330NEO is cheaper to buy, maintain and has better/comparable fuel burn rates over most missions. It also accommodates more bums on seats and has a quieter more comfortable cabin.
Let this be a reminder that Boeing is not always that one aircraft maker that makes new models based off of dinosaurs. In fact, in this case, the A330Neo is based on the A330Ceo, which in turn has a lot of similarities with the A300 from the '70s.
Exactly! Some people give Boeing so much crap for electing to update an older design instead of going for a clean-sheet and ignore the fact Airbus does the very same thing, and so have nearly all major aircraft manufactures.
@@johnnyboythepilot4098 And people say "787 is a one off, Airbus has 3 clean sheets: A380, A350, and A220". The only successful Airbus clean sheet is the A350, so BA and AB both have one good clean sheet. The A380 ended up not being future proof, and the A220 is actually an acquisition from Bombardier's designers.
Justin Cui Thanks for your comment. Yep the A330 is an upgrade over the A300, and both share the same fuselage. Fortunately Airbus eventually went on to develop their second new widebody yet, the wonderful A350.

I don't think anybody will disagree with the fact that the Vietnam Airlines 787 Dreamliner is hands down the most Beautiful Planes in the sky.. The Vietnam Airlines Dreamliner is way more Sexy than ANY Airbus product in the sky. I think we can ALL agree to that. As far as the comparison, the Dreamliner is More Desired based on Qued Orders, the Dreamliner is More Spacious in the Cabin, has cooler features, and is more fuel efficient...... The Decision here just based off of those business oriented facts is a No Brainer.
What about the costs to operators of the 787's numerous airworthiness recalls: Fuselage joints, batteries, stabilisers, pressurisation panels, ....? Airbus just keeps flying.
Yeah but almost every plane has had recalls. I mean the a330neo is based on the a330 and that one is based on the a300 wich lost its tail in 2001 (american airlines 587) and yes the copilot did put exesive force on the tail but a normal unflwayed plane should have handled that
I would be much more comfortable flying in an Airbus than in a Boeing aircraft. This is due to the culture of cutting corners currently rampant at Boeing.

The quality control issue at the SC plant is so bad, that Qatar Airline refuses point blank to accept any 787 coming out that plant. Boeing's QC/QA has taken a major hit ever since the merger with McDonald Douglas and the move of its corporate headquarters from Seattle WA to Chicago.
Yeah but i mean the 787 is like the 737 and 320series there being replaced very rapid for example the use of the 737 1960-1990 old 1990-2005classic 2005-2021 next generation ???-??? Max
Boeing have let themselves down badly with the engineering, the Airbus however started much later, personally I feel more comfortable flying the Airbus as Boeing seems to have lost the plot with engineering.
May i tell you about the time an a300 lost its tail because of a design flaw combined with a slight pilot error btw the a330 is bases on the a300 and the 330n is based on the 330. Also lets not forget qantas flight 72 or 32 (the one with the a330) i dont exactly remember wich one but that plane would have crashed if not for the pilots skill and the altitude it was flying at. I mean only a small hand of the 777 have crashed and only one that comes to mind was that ba flight where the engines failed because of ice. Lets not forget that driving a car is more dangerous than flying an aiplane. I just want to say boeing isnt bad at building planes and i agree the 737max had a big flaw

@@Mythicals_Lights A330neo is basically if you are a 90's kid or 2000's kid grew up flying on an A330, the A330neo is your aircraft, it is jus a re-engined A330 with improved aerodynamics and efficiency, interior-wise, pretty much the same as A330. The 787 and the A350 is clean sheet design.
60% of the delivered 787's chose the GE engine over the RR. BUT due to the problems of the RR engines repeat customers are switching to the GE as it is much more reliable !!!!

I personally like the a330neo better because I think this aircraft is beautiful and landing with its tilted gears look stunning. It was tough though because the Boeing 787 Dreamliner is an amazing aircraft also.
Wow. A330 vs 787 poll at 50%!
The Everyday Boy Amazing! Thanks for pointing out. I guess even after all these years people do still love the A330! Thanks for watching and do stay tuned for more great videos on the way!
Exactly
A small correction! The 787 used to have Rolls Royce Trent’s (old 787s), but all new one’s from 787-9 onwards have GEgenx engines
@@dakshbudhia3382 that is incorrect
Crazy to think about it, the A330neo Trent 7000 sounds exactly the same as the 787’s Trent 1000 on takeoff
Having flown on both, you can't beat the lower cabin altitude and AC systems compared to the Airbus. Make for a far better and less fatiguing experience.
The wider cabin of the A350 is far more important than the factors you describe, at least in my book
I really like the A330 CUZ ITS CHEAPER. BUT I HATE EXPENSIVE AIRLINES!!!
Roger Awang It is cheaper indeed, though ironically the list price for A330-900 is actually higher than 787-9 though airlines will probably receive a larger discount. Thanks for tuning in!
The Airbus A330neo is safer then any Boeing Aircrafts.
Gonna have to go w/the Dreamliner in this comparison. Enjoyed the vid as always, look fwd to the next one my friend. 😉👍👍✌

Omy god Comfort vs 4%fuel Effiency.😵
given that the 330 neo is a much younger aircraft type, much depends on whether the older 330 ceo airline operators would order the neo to replace the ceo over time... a more interesting stat would have been: how many 330 ceo operators have shifted to the 787?
Ching Wei Xion AF sticks to a350’s while klm sticks to their 787’s. Klm has always been a loyal boeing costumer.
the 787 has always been compared to the a350 but the a350 really should be compared to the 777 or 777x. but that just speaks to how good the 787 is. the a330neo and 787 are in the same class but the 787 wins easily. the most versatile widebody, 787-9 runs the 3rd longest flight in the world. qantas carrying 236 ppl. the united 787-10 can carry 318 people from new york to tel aviv and the 787 doesnt use engine bleed which saves on fuel and wsted power. the a330neo is an update of an old plane the 787 is built from the ground up.
Actually:
A330-800 ~ 787-8
A330-900 ~ 787-9

surprisingly the A330neo gives a close fight against the 787 at short-medium haul routes considering it's A330 but with new engines and wings
A330 neo and b787 will fill these gaps.
in my opinion there is no point in comparing these same products ... the importance of human safety to both the rider and the crew
I like the classical nose look of the a330. Keeps that classical a310, a330 look. Same goes for the 777x, the nose looks so good.
You're wrong about the max thrust output with the most powerful on the 787....the GEnx 1b 78/p2 produces a maximum of 80,400 lbs of thrust..... this is just something that I've noticed but other than that I love the comparison
Which do pilots generally prefer?
A330neo

@@tanshaomala yes!
Why do all Boeing's get this shit. And the 787 is safe bro

787 of course. A330 Neo is is just a variant of an older plane, while 787 is something completely new.
I like a330 Neo more than 787
Bruh a330 neo is a updated version
I think both of them are suitable for long haul low cost airlines such as jetstar or air Asia x, 787-8 and a330neo will give them a great advantage such as relatively lower cost per unit than a350 or 777 family. 787-8 and a330neo are both leading fuel efficient per trip which will help low cost airlines gain more revenue
Low cost airlines want single aisle aircraft for speed of boarding and turn around times etc.

A330 neo every day as a passenger. The 787 would be on par for me if airlines had kept it 2-8-2 in economy class. But now that almost every 787 is configured 3-3-3, I avoid them like the plague. Also, the remote dimmable windows suck! I don't want the sky waitresses to control my window!
like the a330 with the 2-4-2 before b787 3-3-3
Both aircraft are good in their own ways. One is not better than the other. It is what suits the individual airlines better. Airlines like Qantas which uses the aircraft for long haul service will find the B787 better while airlines like TAP with more short to medium range routes will find the A330neo better.
It would be interesting to see how GE comes into the picture for the A330neo. If airbus finds themselves lowering the thrust specification by around 15% for the GE engines on the A330neo, this may make the smaller A330-800 an attractive NMA replacement.
I agree with you
Ching Wei Xion Thanks for your comment. Yep, on shorter routes the A330neo works out as efficient as 787, but it must be sold at around 30 million less in terms of capital cost for airlines to justify choosing it over the 787, which is more efficient on Long routes.
Ching Wei Xion a330neo didn’t really slow down the 787 sales by a lot, the a350 possibly did. Also isn’t the a330-900 mtow 251 tons?

Yeah but almost every plane has had recalls. I mean the a330neo is based on the a330 and that one is based on the a300 wich lost its tail in 2001 (american airlines 587) and yes the copilot did put exesive force on the tail but a normal unflwayed plane should have handled that
But the 787 to the A330 if I fly from Beijing to Oslo, Norway non-stop!
I would be much more comfortable flying in an Airbus than in a Boeing aircraft. This is due to the culture of cutting corners currently rampant at Boeing.
Martti Leino Thanks for your comment. I do believe that Boeing will learn their lessons and continue to manufacture safe aircraft as they have always done so in the past. Thanks for watching and do stay tuned for more great videos on the way!
What I say now is anything they designed BEFORE the 2,000s is ok. Post-2000s stay away from
Efficiency is one important criteria. But safety is the most important. And Boeing aircrafts are highly unsafe ... because their management tolerates bad quality parts providers ... for obscure reasons ... among which corruption cannot be ruled out. As the YT video ... People & Power - On a wing and a prayer ... have fully demonstrated. 😐
Yeah I fly more airbus planes but when I flew on Boeing there was a engine failure if it wasn’t for the good pilots we would have died
@@AthletesStore06 It might have been ... just a very bad coincidence. B doesn't make aircraft engines, after all. Poor maintenance ... also could have been a factor. 🤔
787 all the way !!
that is right
i feel more comfort in 330. and feel more safer
Agreed
The 787 is fine i mean it has never crashed. And the 737max was just stupidly designed. Something that wouldnt happend on the 787 because it doesnt have mcas
B 787 10 is such as B 777 200er
Your music is too loud!!!!!
Both are good
Malaysia001 Airlines Thanks for your comment. Yep, both are good, though the A330neo must be sold at lower capital cost for airlines to justify buying it over 787. Thanks for watching and do stay tuned for more great videos on the way!
Yeah i agree with you
Will we ever see an A340neo? They should give the A340neo 2 engines only instead of 4 engines.
They call that a 330,
The a340 is a failed program, it’s long out of the window for airbus, so for them to make a new variant is very unlikely
Well the a340 is replaced by the a350 because of the almost comparable size if you take the a340 500/600 it could be compared to the a350 900/100 and the a340 200/300 were replaced by the a330 neo family
No question on this one! B787 is better.
Alex Albert Thanks for your comment! Yep the 787 with its clean sheet design and latest technologies is the more modern aircraft. Thanks for watching and stay tuned for more great videos on the way!
I agree with you
Hunter Watson Thanks for your support 😊 Do stay tuned for more great videos on the way!
You forgot about the lithium ion battery issues with the 787 and that some have burst into flames. The 787 has also had some poor publicity regarding the quality of production with staff in Carolina stating they would never fly on one due to poor quality control. Given the choice I would travel on the A330/neo before boarding a 787.
Bill Barr. You're absolutely talking shit here dumbhead, ive been on both of these planes and 787 is primarily by far the best & better quality between these 2.
Bill Barr Thanks for your comment. Well I do believe the batteries are now reliable and Boeing should indeed be looking into the complains. The 787 has had a fine safety record so far. Thanks for watching and do stay tuned for more great videos on the way!
Bill Barr. Btw those battery issue are long gone... FIXED ages ago u dumbhead.
@@brettdemauna36 sorry "dumbhead" but they didn't "fix" the problem, they put a Boeing Bandaid on it. Do some research before you call names.
4:20 which pop-up?
Planes and Games Pop up is now available! Do check out the video :)
@@oneskyflyer thks for fixing it
330 because it'll last longer than the 787 as it ages because carbon fiber does develop cracks as it ages
But the thing is not alot of airlines like it so no it will not last long
Yeah but i mean the 787 is like the 737 and 320series there being replaced very rapid for example the use of the 737 1960-1990 old 1990-2005classic 2005-2021 next generation ???-???
Airbus is an infernal plane vs Boeing"........"
A330neo hands down
I thought that the 330 was comparable with the 777 only 🤔
A330 is commonly compared to 777 as they were the widebody twins at the time... however in reality, A330 has the range of 767 and size of smaller 777s. Thanks for tuning in and do consider checking out my new Instagram here ->instagram.com/oneskyflyer/ for more great Plane Spotting photos ;)
@@oneskyflyer Remember the triple 777 is wider than A330 remember the triple 777-200 is shorter the triple 777-300 is more lake than a330
Like comparing the horse and buggy to an automobile...!!!need I proceed any further..next topic.
With the 787 being the buggy!
The best is the A330 neo, because never grounded...
airbus needs to fix both their a330neos and a350s
Why?
Well I don’t see any problems with them. Its BOEING who should be fixing their 787s, and their 737 Max’s
My personal preference or choice Boeing B787! For such a time as NOW.

You can't compare the 787 and the A330neo- Airbus can sit down on this...
Yes you can the a330 neo was built to go against the 787 (not the 787-10 tho
@@ethansaviation2672 why not the 787 10 has 20 less seats in a 1 class configuration than the a339 speaking in 2021
A presenter seems promoting airbus. He use lot of mantions for airbus. Thats the fact 787 is superb one
Boeing fans versus Airbus fans, comments so predictable! Doesn't matter whichever plane it is, whenever I fly i want that plane to be the best in the world!!
I prefer the 787!
In my opinion I like the 787
787 so technology and so quality !!
Pierre M Most certainly so, and that’s why it wins this one! Thanks for watching and do stay tuned for more great videos on the way!
I still vote for Boeng 787
787 is more silent I see it like 2 times per week it has the most beautiful wings in aviation history [according to me] unique windshield design
