It took me four games to beat Act 1! The margins feel narrower than in the video game, but it still has that charm by which loses make you want to immediately try again.
Very well done video! Thanks for sharing your enjoyment :) Just got the German version 2 hrs ago and am in the middle of sleeving. Funny that it had the same errata sticker. ^^ They took so much care with the adaptation, so amazing. The multi player scaling works really well (from watching others play on youtube ^^) Finally it can be shared with friends and family :D
5:35 FINALLY someone who appreciates the readable serif font. Nobody seems to care or everyone else seems to take this for granted. Reason I backed slayer is - i get a smaller box! 6:13 OMG that is a deja vu. Matrix. 11:08 Games with dividers - Heroes of Tenefyr, Numenera, Isofarian. 14:00 download the pdf of the RB and print out those two achievement pages. Then you can sell the game "as new". It frankly looks quite crappy, esp. the orange plastic and the stupid minis.
I hope you will enjoy it. I’d recommend to print out the map from the book on 2x A4 and use small tokens to track the pieces on the map. It’s an endless chip battler with a very rich “build” variety. Instead of 4 classes in StS you have 4 pairs of guards, and in the 5th book you can select a pair out of those eight. Main story is good, just don’t expect a richly populated Witcher kind of game that gradually opens up with 1000 Npcs to keep track of.
The "put it back in the box" instructions are awesome!
Pretty cool looking board game, super excited for Slay the Spire 2!
I'm dying to receive my copy
Thanks for posting this - your excitement shines thru :)
I've never been more jealous, enjoy it on my behalf please!

Will do! There was an additional appearance that ended up on the cutting room floor - I'll know better for next time! 😃
@@Blown.Over.BoardGames never cut cat appearances!!

I can't wait to receive mine, also went for the box with beta art cards. :)
Ooo, it will be neat to see all those bonus goodies once the all-in pledges start arriving.
been playing Magic The Gathering for decades and these developers definitely play mtg
I still pull out my old MTG cards from high school every Christmas and play a few rounds with my brother. He always wins. Some things never change.

I backed the Isofarian Guard reprint so I will look forward to checking out their dividers out when I get it!
@@Blown.Over.BoardGames The $270 reprint from their website or the first edition plus the purple bag thing?
Did you play Isofarian Guard yet?
@@kosterix123 The reprint campaign on gamefound about a year ago. It's due to arrive in the next two months, so I haven't gotten to play it yet.
