I'm not russian, but did the average person view the police as protectors and good people? Here in the USA there's a lot of hate for police and military and I really hate it, when somebody looks down on you for wearing the uniform it kinda sucks.

The problem as I see it is that they have been legally defanged. There is often little they can do to catch the real bad guys, especially when those bad guys are wearing business suits and sitting in business offices or government positions.

Got to be inside a UAZ when being taken to the hospital, unforgettable experience. The road was long and bumpy, and any time it'd hit anything it would sound like a tin can being violently opened with a hammer. Though I have to say, the interior was pretty spacious for an ambulance, as well as having all the necessary things neatly organised.
