You are awesome! You have been through a lot, and yet you still have a beautiful attitude and zest for life! You are a caring person, despite the way you were treated!
You are going to be OK!
I’m so glad you are seeking new doctors and new methods.
I’m leaving for you, and I know God will help
    You and bless you!

Thank you! Even though I’m not really religious I do believe in god. And he’s helped me several times before. It’s how I’m still here today!
I think in my darkest point of my entire life so far was when I dropped to my knees and said “god I place my life in your hands, I don’t trust it in mine. All I ask is for clarity and strength to allow me the chance to figure this out and win!
And I’m still here able to help and talk about my experiences in hopes of inspiring others to get help in leading better lives.
I know he hears me! And I know he helps me feel strong. To give me the mindset to remain positive and beat the challenges life poses.
Thank you so much for this awesome comment! 👍

I got depressed at about age 13 also. I was bullied but not as badly as you. Sorry you had to go through that.
My father was very abusive and I had a hard time trusting men due to that. So I can understand having trouble with trusting the opposite sex. I have improved a lot with that through therapy.Take care.
I hope the magnet treatment helps. Hopefully better days are ahead!

Thank you! I haven’t started yet. I have it scheduled. But as soon as I start I’ll ask if they allow me to take pictures. That way I can create videos if I can do it.
Right now they started me on Cymbalta and it’s been very interesting how quickly this medicine has made a great difference. So I’m planning to talk about that medicine and my experience.
As far as traumatic experiences go. Yes it was so bad I have PTSD from it. Things can trigger memories that really depresses me even more. I can hear bullies picking on me and calling me things among other stuff. And that’s exactly what i need help to process and move on from.
And as long as when it comes to women I am doing much better. But I still have certain areas I need to continue to work on.
Thanks for the kind words! And I’m glad you enjoyed the video. It was nerve wrecking to put that out publicly. But i did it in hopes it helps.

Great video Leo. So honest, open and real. You are a brave soul. I found your choice of backgrounds interesting. Lots of empty rooms, added to the sense of isolation. Not sure if that was deliberate or not but it worked (for me anyway). I wish you the best of luck with the new treatment. I will be following along with the series to come.

    • @leosthrivwithautism

Thank you! And as far as the background I guess I did that unintentionally because I didn’t realize till you pointed it out. The feeling you felt was exactly what I was attempting to convey. And the music started off slow and subdued but still became more uplifting as that’s what I was aiming for. The ending is positive. And I was trying to find ways to convey it.
It was my first attempt at a real story structure. That’s why i broke it into chapters as well.
I’m happy you enjoyed it! I was super nervous about uploading it. But I’m glad it has been well received.

Thanks for sharing, Leo. Bullying is a common experience for autistic kids. My son endured many traumatic years (including having rocks thrown at him on the playground at school) and I felt helpless to help him. He's in a good school now and seems to be thriving. Please keep us posted on your journey.

Thank you for sharing! Recently I have been depressed because I lost so many friends not understanding that I have autism, yesterday I was suspended because I was falsely accused of targeting a teacher which I never did. I lost over 10 friends throughout my life and it’s sad. It’s the point I’m currently isolated from everyone. It’s not easy to make great friends because I’m autistic, it’s impacts my ability to speak since I don’t really talk or socialize to anyone because of the bullying. I do have thoughts of doing something bad to myself because it’s suffering I have to face with. It’s my final year of high school graduating next month that’s something I should be proud of.
Thoughts on my story? Thanks for posting your feelings it’s really reliable to me.

In your case I would definitely seek therapy in my opinion. This is only because you appear to be in a situation that may require more than just general help.
Remember I’m not an expert so I can’t really give specific advice.
My general thoughts would be this. See if either you or someone in your family can speak to someone with the school staff to see if there could be a proper understanding about your situation regarding the teacher. You don’t deserve to be punished for something that appears to not be your fault. And maybe speaking with office staff at your school might help.
And with regard to friends. Always remember that you can always make new friends. I understand it’s difficult. But it’s not impossible. And some people just don’t understand Autism.
Generally those are my thoughts I can offer up. But the best advice is to seek therapy where they can discuss this with you and offer more specific advice that could help you out.
They may even start you on medicine or other treatment that can help out. For example they started me on a new medicine recently that greatly improved my mood and helped uplift me where I’m not always feeling down.
Isolation is not a good thing. It’s one of the main reasons I’ve been getting help myself.
I got faith in you. You can turn this around and if you need motivation feel free to take it from this channel. You have a community here and you have my videos showing you it is possible to improve.
Not sure how helpful this is. But I hope it helps you feel a little bit better! 😁

It’s not easy for me to tell this story. I had to cut some parts out because I thought the story was going on too long and becoming more about me personally than the message I wanted to put out there which is to not hold back but get help!
By the way I’ve heard some of your videos being recommended on on RUclips music. I was like wait a minute and when I looked down and saw you I was like no way haha. They are recommending her on RUclips music! You’re becoming big time now! 😊
