- The U.S. Supreme Court is working through a backlog of cases with the end of the term fast-approaching. One of most interesting cases involves whether Donald Trump can be criminally charged in connection to the January 6 insurrection.

Trump has been charged with 34 felonies and now he’s been convicted of 34 felonies and July something or rather he will be sentenced for those felony convictions and that is just the first case. The Constitution gives the Supreme Court the power to decide whether laws are Constitutional and prior judicial actions follow precedent.
