If you do decide to try this method with Stretch Magic or some other brand other than Opelon, the beads may not slide down as easily. You’ll need to help them along by sliding them down individually the best way you can until the looped end slides inside the first bead. It does take a little patience. 🙂
Very well done! Thanks so much for not telling us for 30 minutes about (insert any fluff and nonsense here!) while still keeping it interesting. Learned quite a bit!
That's awesome. Thanks for the tips with the needle and Fireline and the knotting technique. I've always been reluctant to make stretch bracelets because I've made a few that have popped on me. Doubling the stretch cord will fix that issue. I love your videos so please keep on making them.
Thank You for another wonderful tutorial!!! I so prefer your method of making stretch bracelets. I like that you show up close how to put the knots inside the bead holes.
What a great lesson. I wish I had known this method last week when I made a stretch bracelet using Opelon. What a pain it was to go through a second time. Will definitely use your method moving forward.
Luisa you never seize to amaze me! Another great tutorial! I want to try to start making my jewelry and I figured I would start with a simple stretch bracelet before I continued on to my memory bracelet. So of course I looked for your guidance. This was a wonderful tutorial and I can’t wait to get to the store to get what I need to get started. Purple is my absolute favorite color! I’m going to go through my purple beads so that I can make one out of them. Thank you again Louisa for all of your great guidance💜
Thank you for this video. I have been doing stretch bracelets an hav not been successful. I like your method. I have tried it on a few bracelets! Love the method.
Thank you Nerelda. Very kind of you! This method is great! I like doing it but sometimes, if the holes are small, I use a thinner stretch cord. Luckily, large gemstones or beads usually have large holes. 🙂
OMG what a great tip! I always double my stretch bracelets but have always struggled with the ‘bent wire’. This will just make stringing so much easier! Thank you, thank you, thank you!
I have never seen this done before with the fire line Louisa! Such a great method! I enjoy watching tutorials even if it sounds like something I already know how to do. I always come away with something from someone else’s style or technique. TFS!! 😬🤗💐
Luisa, that's a great method for a stretch bracelet. I have not seen it done that way and I will definitely use it on my next bracelet. Thanks so much for sharing it.
Awesome technique! Such an efficient way to create stretch bracelets. Once I receive my Magic Rods I will place my beads on each rod. That will enable me to 'string' the beads and complete all 5 bracelets in :20-:25. That is a total win-win!
Love it Luisa, the bracelet is beautiful! I've seen this method before and tried it with Stretch Magic, the thinner cord and it worked, I did"t even need glue. Thank you for being here on RUclips and God bless you.
Luisa, Very cute bracelet!! Thank you for the great tip on using the needle and fireline. You are a wonderful designer and I enjoy all your creative designs you share with us. God Bless.
Thank you so much for sharing this video! I just made my first stone bracelet using your method and it was brilliant! I'm really excited and looking forward to making more bracelets and checking out more of your channel!
Wooowh, great tutorial. I love how you demonstrate the project. Very easy to follow and understand. I'm a newbie and at times I find it challenging following videos. Thank you soooooo much for sharing your talent with us. Blessings from Barbados 😊
Wonderful tutorial. Yes, I did learn something new. I never thought to use a regular beading needle attached to the elastic cording. I use 8mm gemstones and I will be using your method. Thanks for sharing. Will this method work for 10mm beads?
Your method is wonderful! Thank you 😊! I will give it a try. I don’t like stretch bracelets too much, I find them insecure. But maybe using this method with Opelon will work. Take care, Luisa!
Thanks for sharing - I’m starting to use the bigger beads (10mm) for men’s bracelets - this was soooo timelt❤😊. Have to laugh because I saw this a year ago😂
I have learned (the hard way) to pre-stretch the Stretch Magic. I stretch a couple of inches and move down and stretch the next couple of inches and continue until whatever length of Stretch Magic you need is all pre-stretched. If you don't do this, as you stretch your bracelet to put it on, eventually it WILL stretch out and you will not like the results!
This is so awesome! Thank you so much! You have a new subbie for sure! What are some good online companies you would recommend to purchase beautiful beads? Thanks in advance 😊
Luisa, I am a starter and your method makes it sooo much easier to make and understand. Thank you! What size needle? And where to buy it? You are the best!
I believe the initial knot you made is called a square knot. Also, you don't pre-stretch your cord? Okay, I guess the pulling technique you're using to finish it off does some of that.
I am surprised that you do not use a Beadalon elastic cord needle since you use your metal wires with a stoppers on the end to set your beads up. The beetle on needle is almost exactly like the wires you use and it’s so much easier.
I find it much easier to pass a needle and thread through the hole of a bead versus feeding a Beadalon needle plus the thread, especially if the holes are small. Does that make sense? The Beadalon needle doesn’t work with small holes. Also, my product “Magic Rods” is completely different than the Beadalon needles. Mine is strictly for bead pattern design and can be loaded from both ends. It was initially designed for the making of memory wire bracelets. The Beadalon needle can only be loaded from one end once it’s threaded. I hope I’ve clarified. 🙂
I watched twice and can't see where you connected the jump ring to. Did you just put it on the elastic or did you connect it to the little white spacer bead?
I tied the stretch string like you showed. My string UNTIES???? I did the series of knots, first was the over hand knot, next another overhand knot which would be a surgeons knot then, then another overhand knot. Then comes the E6000 glue, then the snip snip….the string starts to unravel. Do you have a video that describes simply the tying off of the bracelets??
Sorry you had trouble. The biggest challenge is to make knots that are strong enough but not bulky. I’ve actually changed how I knot off stretch bracelets. I’m always experimenting with different methods. Here’s a video from 10 months ago: ruclips.net/video/98OjNQ7TNz0/видео.htmlsi=rbhbkCSuwrmpSBqI

Hi Luisa, It's nice seeing a different method for making a Stretch Bracelet. Thank you for showing it. I may give it a try!
No matter what my experiences are in jewelry creating, I always learn something new. Great method for heavier (and larger) beads! Kudos.
Thank You for another wonderful tutorial!!! I so prefer your method of making stretch bracelets. I like that you show up close how to put the knots inside the bead holes.
Well I have never seen mixing the threads! What a great idea I have always stayed away from stretchy but I'm gonna try it. Thanks
What a great lesson. I wish I had known this method last week when I made a stretch bracelet using Opelon. What a pain it was to go through a second time. Will definitely use your method moving forward.

Wow, answer to a problem I’ve been facing!! Have had to avoid gemstones in stretch bracelets! Yippee, got to get started!!
Love the method of using fireline and a needle!
OMG what a great tip! I always double my stretch bracelets but have always struggled with the ‘bent wire’. This will just make stringing so much easier! Thank you, thank you, thank you!
You can also use a big eye needle with one end cut off.
I have never seen this done before with the fire line Louisa! Such a great method! I enjoy watching tutorials even if it sounds like something I already know how to do. I always come away with something from someone else’s style or technique. TFS!! 😬🤗💐

Thanku appreciate your lesson
Gostei muito dó seu canal é sou garimpeiro 🙏
I’m not sure you are still on here, but I’m pet sitting and only have big eye needle, will that work for now???

I hope I learn how to end stretchy string on a beaded bracelet!! No one shows us!!
Thank you!
Thank you 👏💕
You’re welcome 😊
Maybe I'm not doing this right but the bead smith opelon shreds every time I use it.
Do you use larger cord for 10mm or triple loop the cord shown?
those Nicole beads came from AC Moore, that was their brand.
For the needle, is it a regular one that we use for sewing?
Cristiane you can use either a size 10 or 11 beading needle 😊
Bring it
🥰
👍🏻❤️
What size needle did you use?
She stated a 10 or 11 beading needle in another comment.
❤it
Thank you
