Yes, I was shocked and saddened to hear my favorite Gospel Singer of all times had a small stroke. But I always noticed Shirley Caesar was always the hardest working Woman of God Preaching and Singing machine since I was a kid I fell in love with Her gifts, and talents. But after I started getting older I started worrying about how long can she keep this hard working talent up, because I know I'm feeling my age, and She's just a few years younger than my Mother. I prayed for God to keep Shirley Caesar and protect her, and to please don't let her kill herself working so hard out there. She came from that generation where black folks always knew they had to work extra hard to get ahead. And God has tremendously blessed Shirley Caesar, but I don't want to see her work until she drop like James Brown did.
Yes she is I met Shirley Caesar when I was 16 years old, and made friends with her for a while. And she remains down to earth, and funny as all get out. She can really make you laugh. And she has the cutest laugh herself from the gut laugh. She has encouraged me to be real with God, and to love my Mother who I thought was in lovable when I was young. But as soon as I left home God laid a guilt trip on me that I had to love my Mother and respect her, and take care of her if I wanted God to bless my life. And now that my Mother is 88 years old, and don't remember anyone but her children a little bit. I'm so grateful Shirley Caesar taught me to love and respect my own Mama. And now I know there really is a huge Blessing God will give you when you Honor your parents especially Mama's.
My favorite Gospel singer Pastor Shirley Ceasar I love you ,she is very annointed and that interview was real talk,and I love it yes you have to forgive people that is true and hold no grudges in order for God to fulfill you it is a personal walk with God I don't won't to miss out when my time come to be judge by God I won't him to say well done everyone I love you thank,you Pastor for that interview you have encourage me more to hold on and tie a knot in the rope
