My mode o had a mouse whee issue so I was able to get a mode d for a replacement and they let me keep the model o still, love this company and their customer service

For me the O is just more comfortable. I like the quality of the side buttons on the model D but I find that theyre seated a little too high for my liking.

Pretty unlikely a local store will have a demo model, but my local microcenter in dallas carries Model O and Model O-. I'm sure they'll stock up on the D later.

That's really good to hear. I know this mouse has a lot of potential. Still currently my main. The LMB wobble is starting to become more noticeable. The scroll wheel is still adequate but could be better. That would be amazing if they improved all of these things.

This shape heavily reminds me of the G403/703. Just wish they had a wireless option for the Model D that could compare to Logi's wireless and I'd replace my G703 in a heartbeat.
@VictorPreda-ns7ty yeah I actually bought it and realized that the position of the hump makes the model D more suited for palm grip rather than claw grip and I am a solely claw grip user. G703 just feels more comfortable in my hand. Guess I'll just be waiting forever until logitech decides to release a lightweight g703.
got a model O at christmas for my first gaming mouse (upgraded from a £1 poundland mouse) and I have to say I haven't regretted it one bit, great mouse
i got a model-D, and i had issues with the mouse, so they fixed my mouse, let me keep the old one, and they gave me another model-D. Kudos to Glorious! and thank you alot for helping me understand the specs! you are a good person! May god bless you mate!

Subbed! More mices, my friend, more mices. Actually i'm choosing between glorious model D, G wolfes scoll, zowie ec1 and roccat aimo 200 wireless. Could you comment what mouse is better and why? My palm is 19.5 sm, width 9sm. Palm grip
Out of those choices I would choose the model D. My only gripe about mine right now is some scroll wheel squeak. Idk if i'm just rough on my mice or what but i experienced that with the model O as well. I'm not sold on the G wolves Skoll yet. I've heard that the build quality is poor on them. I can't comment on that exactly without holding it but i've seen many reviews. I believe a lot of the zowie mice have refreshed with better cables and lower weight but still not significant enough of a change. Depends on what type of games you are playing. So what games do you play? As for the Roccat, if you're going to go wireless, i think the only two reputable and consistently high-performing mice across they board at this time are razer and logitech's wireless mice. If you like to palm ergo mice would be a great option but i'm sure you know that already lol I would like to add one more mouse to your suggestions: the deathadder V2 that razer just updated a month or so ago. Really great mouse!
I think the Model D is still a great option. I think you would benefit from a light mouse. The model D is extremely light weight and gorgeous. I actually purchased the V2 deathadder and am looking to review it soon. I honestly expect to switch to it when I do. I like the previous deathadder elite before switching to the model O back then. It gets hot!? And yes, that is the old cable. I would email Glorious immediately. For sure they'll honor the warranty and get your mouse replaced with a new one (which will also have the new ascended cable). I had to RMA mine because of issues with the scroll wheel and they sent me a brand new one! Only annoying thing is that I had to upload a video demonstrating the issue and email them several times but they even let me keep my old mouse. New mouse is perfectly fine 👌

It's unfortunate a little creak or noise can take away a lot from the experience of a gaming mouse. I absolutely hated the scroll wheel squeak I experienced. It wasn't even subtle though. It was so loud! I'm glad they replaced it.
I thought that the model d was gonna be too big cause I have small to regular hands, but it was actually good for me. I don’t recommend it to people who have small hands, AND who play with a claw or fingertip grip, because it’s a bit too big for that. The model d is good for palm and rested grips Coming from a g502, I recommend it
I don't think it's hard at all to click. It's very smooth and crispy 👌. The feel is pretty similar to the deathadder elite. The deathadder V2 is a completely different switch .

Hey man! Awesome video, helped me decide to switch to the model D. Bought the model o a couple days ago switching from the deathadder just like you did, and my scroll wheel feels inconsistent as you said and it makes a rattling noise when I scroll up. I use a palm grip when I'm just browsing, watching videos and when I game I use a claw grip. Feels awkward when I palm because there isn't a hump that my the top of my hand can rest under. So now I'm planning to exchange my model O with the model D this week!
Glad I could help! I've actually taken my model D to my work office and I use it and LOVEEEE IT. I use claw grip for gaming and prefer ambi mice for that. It's all preference but yeah, I hope it works out for you! I definitely prefer the side buttons on the D over the O easily.
Honestly, right now im leaning more towards the Model O. I think the ambi grip is somehow more comfortable for me. I like the larger side buttons on the model D but they are placed a little too high for my liking. With that being said, that's my preference and there is no such thing as a best one.

Pro: - Grip (Nice feeling) - Weight (coming from a roccat emp, damn its like night and day difference. EMP is so heavy (118g) - Ergonomy (realy nice shape, no problems at all, palm Grip) - Wheel (feels good, down is really silent, up a little bit of rattle, tho) - Mouse Buttons M1 and M2 are clicky without pre- or posttravel) - Cable Con: There is only a minor Con, thumb Buttons are a bit mushy, with some pre Travel. But no big Deal when you get used to it. The Size and position is fine. Like i said, i love it. 9/10 Stars, absolute a recommendation.
Performance is great. I'm finding myself feeling more comfortable with my model O thought. I haven't fully arrived at the conclusion yet. Still messing around with them. As for QC, i'm going to be honest here... I'm getting the dreaded high-pitched scroll wheel squeak again and it's really irritated. they replaced my first model O with the exact same issue. I'm quite disappointed. I'm probably going to end up RMA-ing this Model D as well just because of this. I don't think i would notice the squeak during gaming with a headset, but damn it's loud during normal use (I use my computer more for productivity than gaming). I would contact them immediately via email!! I got my model O replaced for a squeaky/defective scroll wheel. I think the warranty is 2 years. Surely you haven't had it that long.
I have had the razer deathadder elite for almost 2 years now and the side buttons have begun to stick and have become less and less reliable the scroll wheel is super gritty. I'm trying to decide If I should switch to this mouse or just get a replacement. I kind of like the idea of a light mouse because I play at a low sensitivity
need to see this mouse at long term because of the quality. a lot of other brands have great mouses that just start to feel like crap after 4 months or so of gaming. take the rival 600 and the shitty glued plastic on both sides that comes out after the mouse warms in your hand.
Been using my 2nd model O for about 3 months now almost daily without any issue. The Model D i've currently using and have been using daily since this video is holding up well except I'm getting an annoying scroll wheel squeak -__- other than that, it's perfect.
For me, the Model D is my second favorite lightweight mouse ever. I love the larger shape especially for someone who's bigger. The only one I like better is the Razer Viper Ultimate because of the switches and it's pretty light.
How are those side buttons for you? I messed with a viper ultimate briefly and i really felt like the side buttons were too small and recessed for me to push adequately in game.

I think the shape is somewhat comparable to the deathadder. I switched from the deathadder to the model O. I missed the larger side buttons of the deathadder. Idk if you heard but Razer just refreshed it and the new version is called the deathadder V2. A length of 16 to 16.5 seems a bit small to me but if the deathadder shapw was comfortable to you, I think the model D is worth a try. I think most, including myself, would consider the deathadder and model D as "large" mice. I like the new model D but I'm really considering buying the new DA v2 and trying it out. It also has new optical switches which may prevent double clicking issues.

Do you map important things to your side buttons? I would choose the model D if you do. The model O is plenty comfortable and I like it but I don't like the small buttons. That's just MY preference though.

Model O- is probably the best small mouse, Im getting it, same weight as the final mouse, and I have small hands and I like the ambidextrous feel more.
The viper mini just came out refently and it looks like another good small option. I love ambi feels too now so I actually prefer my model O over the D.

If you palm, this mouse should be right up your alley. Can't say for certain but if you have large hands and palm grip, I would say the model D is more suitable than the model O. Both are great mice!
I have a Claw Grip but I'm not sure which one to use I don't know the size of my hands because I never really looked into it. But I can say for sure that it's Medium (or possibly large)
Haha for further explanation, as a claw gripper, the model O is generally a safer pick. The model D is more geared for palm grip. The buttons are seated a little higher than i prefer but that may be also bc I claw grip like you.
For me I would say that you shouldn't upgrade from Model O to model D unless you were really after larger side buttons. I use my Model D to game and productivity at the house while I use my Model O at my office at work. Im pretty comfortable with the Model O. I just prefer the larger side buttons of the D but nothing else honestly. There is no D minus at this time but it may be released later this year.

Mine 1st one didn't break but i had an obnoxiously loud scroll wheel squeak. Glorious was kind enough to send me a replacement toward the end of December and it's been working 100% with no scroll wheel squeak or issue since then so that's been about 3 months. It's holding up like new like yours!

have you played with it for a little while? when i first got it, i felt like the side buttons were a bit high (my previous ergo was a deathadder elite) but i got more comfortable with it as i started playing with it. i don't think it's placed perfectly for me but it's close to it.
Ok so not gonna lie if you hadn't shown them at a front angle, aside from the buttons size diffrence on the side I wouldnt have ever known the D was bigger than the O. Top view they look identical to me. Also thank for explaining was you meant by inconsistent with the scroll wheel. I was slightly confused.

Honestly, they're both ergo mice but they're ergo in really different ways in my opinion lol i think you sould be fine. the weight loss is going to be absolutely drastic but in a good way.

Which mouse are you talking about? The model O or deathadder? Because there is a deathadder v2. And that's what it's actually labeled as. As for the model O, it's the size of the box that tells you if its the one with the new ascended cable. All Model D come with the newest ascended cable.
If that's your preference, I would recommend the model D. Especially considering the side buttons of the rival 710 which are seated high like on the model D.

@@lilricemuncher09 It. Is. Amazing. I came from the wireless g403 and it's a very noticeable difference in weight. I typically palm mice and the g403 was perfect for that. With this mouse it's weird for me to palm it because the mouse is definitely flatter so my fingers hang over the edge a little bit. (My hands are big as you can tell😂)

Glad you brought that up. I was starting to wonder if it was just me! My first model O had the squeaking issues but the 2nd one that they sent out for replacement has been perfect. No squeaks. My Model D is squeaking but otherwise it works just fine. If it gets worse, i may seek a replacement for it.
This mouse has the same problem as the model o where if you you click the right and left click too fast and hard too many times, it will become sticky. The g wolves hati has more reliable switched for a lightweight mouse

I had to RMA mine because of issues with the scroll wheel and they sent me a brand new one! Only annoying thing is that I had to upload a video demonstrating the issue and email them several times but they even let me keep my old mouse. New mouse is perfectly fine 👌

If you palm grip , the D would be my recommendation. I like the model O better now but it's mostly bc Im more comfortable clawing it.

It's unfortunate a little creak or noise can take away a lot from the experience of a gaming mouse. I absolutely hated the scroll wheel squeak I experienced. It wasn't even subtle though. It was so loud! I'm glad they replaced it.

I thought that the model d was gonna be too big cause I have small to regular hands, but it was actually good for me. I don’t recommend it to people who have small hands, AND who play with a claw or fingertip grip, because it’s a bit too big for that.
The model d is good for palm and rested grips

I don't think it's hard at all to click. It's very smooth and crispy 👌. The feel is pretty similar to the deathadder elite. The deathadder V2 is a completely different switch .

Hey man! Awesome video, helped me decide to switch to the model D. Bought the model o a couple days ago switching from the deathadder just like you did, and my scroll wheel feels inconsistent as you said and it makes a rattling noise when I scroll up. I use a palm grip when I'm just browsing, watching videos and when I game I use a claw grip. Feels awkward when I palm because there isn't a hump that my the top of my hand can rest under. So now I'm planning to exchange my model O with the model D this week!
Glad I could help! I've actually taken my model D to my work office and I use it and LOVEEEE IT. I use claw grip for gaming and prefer ambi mice for that. It's all preference but yeah, I hope it works out for you! I definitely prefer the side buttons on the D over the O easily.

Honestly, right now im leaning more towards the Model O. I think the ambi grip is somehow more comfortable for me. I like the larger side buttons on the model D but they are placed a little too high for my liking. With that being said, that's my preference and there is no such thing as a best one.

Performance is great. I'm finding myself feeling more comfortable with my model O thought. I haven't fully arrived at the conclusion yet. Still messing around with them. As for QC, i'm going to be honest here... I'm getting the dreaded high-pitched scroll wheel squeak again and it's really irritated. they replaced my first model O with the exact same issue. I'm quite disappointed. I'm probably going to end up RMA-ing this Model D as well just because of this. I don't think i would notice the squeak during gaming with a headset, but damn it's loud during normal use (I use my computer more for productivity than gaming). I would contact them immediately via email!! I got my model O replaced for a squeaky/defective scroll wheel. I think the warranty is 2 years. Surely you haven't had it that long.

I have had the razer deathadder elite for almost 2 years now and the side buttons have begun to stick and have become less and less reliable the scroll wheel is super gritty. I'm trying to decide If I should switch to this mouse or just get a replacement. I kind of like the idea of a light mouse because I play at a low sensitivity
The V2 has so many changes. I would definitely give it a try.
If you haven’t gotten anything new i recommend model O it supports basically all clicking methods and it’s a very good mouse
need to see this mouse at long term because of the quality. a lot of other brands have great mouses that just start to feel like crap after 4 months or so of gaming. take the rival 600 and the shitty glued plastic on both sides that comes out after the mouse warms in your hand.
Been using my 2nd model O for about 3 months now almost daily without any issue. The Model D i've currently using and have been using daily since this video is holding up well except I'm getting an annoying scroll wheel squeak -__- other than that, it's perfect.
For me, the Model D is my second favorite lightweight mouse ever. I love the larger shape especially for someone who's bigger. The only one I like better is the Razer Viper Ultimate because of the switches and it's pretty light.
How are those side buttons for you? I messed with a viper ultimate briefly and i really felt like the side buttons were too small and recessed for me to push adequately in game.

Hi bro nice video, is it feel good like deathadder? Cuz i came from 3rd deathadder mouse to zowei fk2 due to double clicking issue and i dont like fk2 shape, i am thinking of changing to another mouse as i am a palm gripper, would u suggest this one my hand size is 16 to 16.5...
I think the shape is somewhat comparable to the deathadder. I switched from the deathadder to the model O. I missed the larger side buttons of the deathadder. Idk if you heard but Razer just refreshed it and the new version is called the deathadder V2. A length of 16 to 16.5 seems a bit small to me but if the deathadder shapw was comfortable to you, I think the model D is worth a try. I think most, including myself, would consider the deathadder and model D as "large" mice. I like the new model D but I'm really considering buying the new DA v2 and trying it out. It also has new optical switches which may prevent double clicking issues.

Hey so I heave an Razer Deathadder elite right now and I am thinking about switching to the Model D. Would reccomend it and do you think it would be worth it?
I like the Model D but honestly I view the new deathadder V2 as superior. If you're happy with that shape, I would just upgrade to the V2 personally.

Do you map important things to your side buttons? I would choose the model D if you do. The model O is plenty comfortable and I like it but I don't like the small buttons. That's just MY preference though.

Model O- is probably the best small mouse, Im getting it, same weight as the final mouse, and I have small hands and I like the ambidextrous feel more.
The viper mini just came out refently and it looks like another good small option. I love ambi feels too now so I actually prefer my model O over the D.

If you palm, this mouse should be right up your alley. Can't say for certain but if you have large hands and palm grip, I would say the model D is more suitable than the model O. Both are great mice!

Haha for further explanation, as a claw gripper, the model O is generally a safer pick. The model D is more geared for palm grip. The buttons are seated a little higher than i prefer but that may be also bc I claw grip like you.

For me I would say that you shouldn't upgrade from Model O to model D unless you were really after larger side buttons. I use my Model D to game and productivity at the house while I use my Model O at my office at work. Im pretty comfortable with the Model O. I just prefer the larger side buttons of the D but nothing else honestly. There is no D minus at this time but it may be released later this year.

Mine 1st one didn't break but i had an obnoxiously loud scroll wheel squeak. Glorious was kind enough to send me a replacement toward the end of December and it's been working 100% with no scroll wheel squeak or issue since then so that's been about 3 months. It's holding up like new like yours!

have you played with it for a little while? when i first got it, i felt like the side buttons were a bit high (my previous ergo was a deathadder elite) but i got more comfortable with it as i started playing with it. i don't think it's placed perfectly for me but it's close to it.

Ok so not gonna lie if you hadn't shown them at a front angle, aside from the buttons size diffrence on the side I wouldnt have ever known the D was bigger than the O. Top view they look identical to me. Also thank for explaining was you meant by inconsistent with the scroll wheel. I was slightly confused.

This is not true. One of the most significant differences is the side buttons and they are not alike at all in my opinion.

Honestly, they're both ergo mice but they're ergo in really different ways in my opinion lol i think you sould be fine. the weight loss is going to be absolutely drastic but in a good way.

Yeah, I guess the scroll wheel is better and the shape of the mouse is better you could also say the packaging was more professional and user friendly.
I also think the side buttons are significantly different and 100% play differently than the side buttons on the model O.

Which mouse are you talking about? The model O or deathadder? Because there is a deathadder v2. And that's what it's actually labeled as. As for the model O, it's the size of the box that tells you if its the one with the new ascended cable. All Model D come with the newest ascended cable.

The newest model D wireless came out with new kailh switches but the wired Model D and Model O have the same Omron switches and sensor in it.

@@lilricemuncher09 It. Is. Amazing. I came from the wireless g403 and it's a very noticeable difference in weight. I typically palm mice and the g403 was perfect for that. With this mouse it's weird for me to palm it because the mouse is definitely flatter so my fingers hang over the edge a little bit. (My hands are big as you can tell😂)

Glad you brought that up. I was starting to wonder if it was just me! My first model O had the squeaking issues but the 2nd one that they sent out for replacement has been perfect. No squeaks. My Model D is squeaking but otherwise it works just fine. If it gets worse, i may seek a replacement for it.
This mouse has the same problem as the model o where if you you click the right and left click too fast and hard too many times, it will become sticky. The g wolves hati has more reliable switched for a lightweight mouse
I have never experienced that issue in any of my glorious mice and I personally really like the switches. I can't compare it to the g wolves though.
