“Until every one of us understands that elephants should be respected and not treated as our slaves, I will not rest - I will fight for them.” ~~ Lek Chailert
What an amazing lady Lek is and kindly rescuing this precious mum elephant and her baby Chaba who has fallen in love with Lek. This video is heart melting.🙏🐘🥰💕
Lek is very brave, in her fight for the elephants, and physically brave in her interaction with them. She must go home exhausted, and black and blue, every day. She's a very remarkable woman.
I am so happy to see them there at ENP and that they now have a nice safe home with such caring people around and they can be at peace and have dignity as they deserve. ❤️❤️❤️
I just love seeing the current female residence welcoming the new mom and baby on board. They really are a "family-oriented" species. Brighter days are ahead for momma and baby ellie! 🐘💕🐘
Fah Mai is keeping close watch over her new neighbors. 💓 With the excellent and knowledgeable care of Lek and her staff, Bunma and baby Chaba will be relaxed and comfortable in no time. Looking forward to watching their progress toward the freedom they both deserve. 🙏🏼🐘💓
That bed looks comfy! Praying for a peaceful night of rest for these two beautiful eles. They are so fortunate you have found space for them in your sanctuary. Is that already a volunteer wanting to help this stressed young mother? I hope her communications provide comfort to them both.
Hopefully the mother will conserve energy now that she’s relaxed and with good nutrition, her body will produce more milk for the baby. They are both in good hands and we are praying for a speedy recovery!
😂 the baby 🐘❤ trying to eat your head then sit on your lap is too cute! Warm cloths for the Mother's breastfeeding . With her now , thanks to you and your team , better nutrition she will be able to produce milk for that sweet baby elephant ❤ The nanny standing by ready to help. Tyfs
I hope you are able to stimulate the mother or bottle feed baby. It must be so hard trying to help these traumatised elephants. Baby has really taken to you. She is so adorable. Keep us updated Lek and thank you so much for what you do.
I wonder how long it’s been since that that little one has been without milk from her mother. 😢 I’m holding space for a miracle for both of these precious beings. 💫
You can see in the poor mothers eyes she doesn't trust but feels she has no choice. She doesn't know yet that she has come to heaven compared to where she came from. Soon she will have a full belly and rest without chains and ropes. A new life for her and her little one. God bless all who have helped this special day to happen!!!
Lek u have the MOST AMAZING PATIENCE with these elephant babies!!! U r so wonderful with these elephants, it's so heart warming to see someone love these animals the way u do!!! Thank u for all u do for them, I wish everyone treated these animals the way u do!!!
People who exploit elephants or any other animals should face severe consequences.....I’m exhausted and angry with people abusing animals with impunity....
When does this tiny beautiful loving lady sleep she keeps going going wonderful careing person hope she gets help from the world keeping place clean cannot be easy incredible .
And……. Cuteness overload ♥️ absolutely beautiful to see muma & chaba’s bedtime 🥱 you guys do an absolutely amazing job being custodians of these beautiful animals ♥️♥️♥️
The baby ate a humans entire head! These gentle giant animals are nothing but gifts. So much patience and love. In USA don’t think these zookeepers could do care on your level.
I hope the mother is drinking enough water. I have seen videos of African elephants during droughts where their milk dries up and the babies die from starvation.
They were rescued from a tourist type place not too far away. Mom, Bunma was made to give rides and also to ride a bicycle (yes!) to entertain tourists. Both were malnourished and traumatized when rescued, but are doing so much better now. Lek has even managed to get the mom to produce milk again for baby Chaba. (She didn't have milk due to stress) Edit to add, they've only been at ENP a few days, but already you can see the difference in them. In earlier vid, mom was constantly swaying and shaking her head, and swinging her leg as if she still thought she was chained.
@@alison__16 Thank you so much for replying and I am happy they are making great progress...... This organization has to be blessed every second of the day for what you do for God's creation
Mommy appears to be not to worried about the people around about her and her baby, but i do wonder how she is feeling about the sounds of children in the area, maybe reminds her of the circus life she has been rescued from ?
I really and truly hope that this mother and baby elephants do get real and true help from these people. It honestly may look awesome on cam but, what really happens when the cam or video isn’t on?? I’ve heard a lot of horror stories from “so called” Rescues where they say they are taking care of their animals but then don’t and just let the animal to die. God bless mommy and baby always and I do hope I don’t see another video where either the mom has died or the baby has died. Blessings and live to the mom and baby elephants always! Michelle Berthold May I ask you, are you being rude towards me? What exactly is the ENP? Some things are still new to me on RUclips channels. I also don’t do any kind of social media like Facebook, Twitter, or ever any thing else for that Matter. Also, would it be a good idea to check their social media page on their website because o can see things like that only? Hope you will be abl to have. A good day. Sue 🙏🏻🐘🐘🥰🤟🏻🌴❌⭕️
@@susanmorris5520 I have been following Elephant Nature Park (ENP) for a long time. This is Lek Chailert. You can google her. Jane Goodall backs up her sanctuary. Lek runs several programs fir elephant freedom. This one currently had 105 rescued ellies. I have seen many brought back to health and stay that way. Look up elephantnews here on you tube and you can see hundreds of videos on her projects. Covid had made a disaster here because no tourists are coming. Thanks. The other lady was just trying to tell you that Lek is an angel here on earth. We all admire her.
Michele C-F Hi Michele. Thank you fofor your message. I think I had read about this Rescue and the lady Lec and she sure has many accomplishments too. I do admire her a lot and she is definitely a good person with the elephants because they actually walk right beside her with no problems and they trust her with themselves too. I don’t know what video or if it was from today or two days ago but, they all were walking right with Lec and I love thet I could tell the elephants were having so much fun with h r too just walking and not having a care in the world too.🥰❤️👍🏻🐘🐘🐘🐘🐘🐘🐘 There was also a video where Lec was on like a Moped driving with the elephants right with her and even they weren’t scared by it or even uneasy either. So, I’m actually glad I found her video because I really love the difference in elephants from Asia to Africa too.👍🏻🥰🐘🐘🐘🐘🐘🐘😍❤️ The Asian elephants are so very beautiful and there are many very large ones too. @@susanmorris5520 Yes if you subscribe to Eleflix and ElephantNews they are both part if ENP and SaveElephantfoundation.org. Lek has full time vet staff who take care of the animals there. They have the nicest cat sanctuary i have ever seen if you look through videos. The cats have a high fence so they can be outside and walks that run thru trees. In the time i have been involved (i donate once a month) they have brought eight elephants to live there. They improve quickly. One is Mae Mai. She had been hurt in a accident and had horrible wounds. I have only known of one elephant dying from the herpes encephitis that attacked a baby at one of the outreach programs. My research of that is if the animal is near a vet clinic they can rarely be saved cause it causes bleeding in brain. Check them out on facebook where many videos are posted first.
Thank you Lek and all people who saved this little family so they can be safe now.
The world is willing that milk to come through !!!!
