That's actually the most lively I've seen her in an interview. A lot of British interviews I've seen are nothing but tedious tabloid questions. This one is clunky but she makes a good impression. So many wolf whistles from the audience!
Billie's a lovely woman and a great actress, she's obviously a bit different to what the audience and the host are used too ! A good reason why guests shouldn't know what questions they will be asked; it's the spontenetey that counts. For those who aren't sure, "pounds" refers to English money "Pounds Sterling" (ie "dollars").
I'm sure there are some people who don't know what "pounds" are but OMG, not all people are stupid. I've known what it was since I was a child. Americans do watch Doctor Who and love her, she was my favorite from the new series (Elizabeth Sladen was my favorite from the old and I am going as her to Comicon 2015!). Really gets old a bunch of snobby Brits acting like they know everything. My ancestors were originally from England and came to the USA. I was telling my husband earlier today that I would love to live there but after reading the snotty replies on here, not so sure lol. So how does it feel to be judged based on a few stupid people?
300 pounds is english money like in america its dollars. she said "for an hour it would be about 300 pounds" meaning that is how much it is cost. but in America pounds is used as a measure of weight. so when he said "the woman?" it was a joke that the woman who had been hired would be 300 pounds heavy. Its not that great of a joke tbh.
More people know who Billie Piper is than Carson Daly. The only thing that I know about him are the jokes that he was the butt off from people like David Letterman.
