I remember seeing this bike at my local bike shop only it was the gravel bike and not the hard tail scale you see in this video. My GOD I fell in love with the colors and paint job. Seeing it again in this video makes me wish I had bought it. Of course Scott makes some of the best looking bikes ever~
Always loved your content on your other channel, you have such a great mentality, and you seem to be an awesome father as well. Keep it up Andrew, you the man!
Andrew, this is my first new bike video since following your bike channel from your camera channel. I appreciate your video and narration style. Subscribed. Commented. Slapped the like button. Smashed the notification bell. Doing my part.
Another amazing video! I know you loved the builds so the question is moot but for someone who is trying to assess the options, do you think it's worth doing the build yourself or just buying outright?
If I were to find this EXACT bike somewhere, it would probably be selling for a comparable price. I'm probably not saving anything by providing my own labor to build it myself. BUT, what most people overlook is that by doing a build myself, it means I can spend much less on parts that matter much less. For instance, why pay for brand new or handlebars, stems, seatpost, seat, and even the frame, when you gain very little by these being new? If everything on this build was brand new, this bike would be much much more expensive. I'm less picky with these components because they are less likely to fail when used. Focusing only on parts that you really want to be new (like drive train, brake system) saves me a lot of money and makes it well worth it to do my own build.
It stops punctures, basically it’s got tiny bits of rubber floating in it so if your tyre gets a hole in it the rubber seals it back up. (In case you didn’t know what tubeless sealant was)
The bad thing about knowing a lot about bike, and bike repair is that you see all the mistakes in videos like these, great vid tho, keep up the great content 👍
@@BuildaBetterBike when you’re tightening any sort of clamp or pinch clamp, like the ones on the stem, once you’ve torqued down all the bolts, you should always re torque the other nuts, because they can get loosened by the other ones getting tighter, also, on the stem, try to tighten the nuts in a star pattern (top left, bottom right, bottom left, top right). also, this might not be true, but you shouldn’t install a stem without a headset spacer, I understand it was a second hand fork, and it was to short, and that is the danger of buying second hand I am not trying to hate on you,we all have points we can improve on.🙂 Edit: you should also spread the grease on the hub splines
Dude, seriously please do not stop making these kinds of videos. It's just mesmerizing. Keep up the good work.

Thanks Kyle
Other channel? Are you saying there's more. What's the other channel called?
@@eeeeellllleeeee It's called
Andrew & Denae, It's focused on photography, specifically alot of fuji gear.
In our country we use tubes instead of the bare wheel great that im Seeing this is possible keep up the good work
Cause tubes are cheap and heavy, and the bare wheel we call tubeless tyre with sealant, its better then cheap tube and lightweight
i wish i had a dad like him...
Me too
You’re a good dad!
This video honestly almost put me to sleep.
But in a good way!
Keep it up mate!
Thanks! And sweet dreams. :)

Amor inesquecível !!
Amazing build keep it up and make more videos like this🥰
This is freaking awesome.
Mechanic to Mechanic - go buy a PVC Pipe for $5, seats the crown race flawlessly and you're paying 1/20 of Park prices.
That's great advice
You make great videos. Thank you for doing what you do.
Thanks!
120 tpi 3c Ikon 77$ x 2 premium tires, and a 10$ saddle, that's what I call a coherent setup. Good job anyway!
nice.does he have a video on the race?
Watching here from philippines yoww
Thx for sharing and thx for changing to the right BB Pressing Tool on the left BB cup 👀😉😁
To the young one: Have a lot of fun with the new bike ⚙🤙🏁
Happy Kiddo,New Subscriber here 🤙❤️
Very supportive Goodjob🤙🥇
Super build l like the bike
Defo unkink that hose before bleeding, you could easily trap air in the line. Also a full bleed never killed anyone after cutting a brake line lol.
Why full bleed when the mineral oil is brand new? Seems a waste of time and oil. This worked great.
No dropper post ? Love the colour scheme
XC race bike. Dropper post is a waste of weight.
I loved this video 😍
GOOD WORK BROO
Para que montaste una bosina microspline si ibas a montar un piñón NX ??
Masterpiece 👏🏽
Yup
What is the gray stuff you use when installing the BB? It looks like grease but different from the blue grease you use on other stuff.
I use assembly grease (gray) for non-moving parts. Blue, marine grease for moving parts.
Great looking bike and nice parts as well. 👍
The video is amazing one thing to improve is how he used the caliper... But great job
Bike ASMR🥰✨
Exactly
What brakes and disc to lose weight? I already have sram tl..thanks

I would suggest buying a complete bike
Build your self (if you know what to do what to put) is worth it
How much travel does the fork have?
Guys which Trek Roscoe 6 vs Roscoe 7 is good for daily commute in india and basic trails
Forgive my ignorance, but what is the ... milk? that he pours in the tyre at 6:22, and what does it do?
Tubeless sealant
It stops punctures, basically it’s got tiny bits of rubber floating in it so if your tyre gets a hole in it the rubber seals it back up. (In case you didn’t know what tubeless sealant was)

nice video
Where can I get a frame like this to buy online?
Not sure. We found this one on eBay.
where did you buy the frame
Ebay
May I ask you one, what a model of this Scott ?
Scott Scale
the wrinkly rimtape was airtight?
Doesn't have to be
Build a Better Bike why not?
The sealant seals the small gaps.
Did the kid race for really 9h34 :-O ?!
How much weight for the frame?
Buen trabajo 👏🏽
07:15 the tire is not positioned correctly on the rim
What price that bike
Seriously, the bar needs to be at least of raceface atlas degree in a combo with the same kind of stem at minimal to drive a line
It would be better with Flat Pedals. But over all great build.
Hopefully all
I wish i have dad for you anything do for his son/daughter.
his son is luckier than me man
Great build! Did you have to modify the pile to male it shorter travel? I guess the scale supports up to 120mm
wait did you route the shifter cable on the right side of the frame??
Soon
How i wish to have a bike like this
