It’s not BS at all… it’s a way to make the industry more commonitized, everyone hiring editors on Upwork are looking for the cheapest editor they can find (I know this because I work with people who have tried hiring on upwork and because most of my students come into my program complaining about upwork) so if you want to make way less money than your capable of with editing stay on upwork.
