Thank you for making this video! I appreciate it! I do not have a lot of land to keep my prairie dogs outside like this but I do have them in the critter nation cage, and that is perfect for them! They also get a lot of attention and get to come out and run around the room. :)

With outdoor enclosures, how often do you have to clean it out?
I’m in lee county Florida... I have a pet prairie dog, wild caught... he’s been with us for 1 year now and he’s absolutely amazing! I’m gonna start letting him explore outside before summer ☺️ love all of your videos!

Hello, how are you I'm from Orlando, FL? I will be getting my babies this coming Spring, 3 of them, I don't know what combination I should get yet but I know it will be 3. They will be kept in my apartment and I already have 3 Critter Nation Cages Stacked on top of each other. What other recommendations would you give me as I will be getting mine as babies? I'm apart of several Prairie dog groups on facebook and have gotten a ton of information. Thanks very much for anything you can ad, like taking them to a vet, do they need shots, check-up when I get them or no.

Hi there! I am trying to replicate this outdoor enclosure but doing it inside near my bay window. I'm curious if your prarie dogs climb the fencing? Or if that was an issue when they were babies? My girl likes to climb. I don't really want to put her outside bc she is very close to us and I don't want her to be lonely.
Also, respitory illness with the dirt? Have you had any issues? I've already had my girl come down with a respitory infection and I was told it was the dirt I put in her enclosure. I saw where you use top soil? Did you ever have issues with respitory problems?
You should put a roof because if they like climbing they can go over. It's a prairie dog, they live in dirt.

I thinkl you need to research the Black-tail Praiorie dogs more as they do not habinerate----other of the critters do but they do not have the black tail------your critters are just like mine---I have two females about 3 years
