I've found that cranking out widgets can be directly applied to LSS, but anecdotal experience with my SO in the medical field tells me there has to be a middle ground with people. The medical industry is losing people left and right because the people in that field didn't get into it to crank out as many widgets as possible. They have real connections with those people and 9 a day seems legit on paper, has real JR consequences as time is starting to show. LSS doesn't count for emotion and there's a bunch of that in medical offices etc. My SO just quit and got into a totally different field for that reason and several of her fellow employees are doing the same. I'm not saying LSS doesn't work in medical field, but there might need those be consessions made.
