What happened to the 8th and 9th commandments? Sermons?

If James says God cannot be tempted but scripture says that Jesus was tempted how how can Jesus be God? Son of God yes but God? That would contradict scripture right?

We are tempted and go through the process of temptation - the thoughts, the relentless pull to give in to temptation. Jesus was just tempted - He never went through the process of temptation. That may be hard to understand at first, but, think on it and it will make sense. And do your best not to ask these people questions or seek help understanding. Even if you contact them directly, they will never, ever help you. I have no idea why. But, try not to do it. It's wrecked me, attempting to get them to just talk to me. They won't do it. Grace To You sent me a list of Biblical counselors and the only one that responded said "I don't know what you're talking about.". We can't rely on these pastors or their ministries, it's like an airtight country club and there's just no way to get in.

Great sermon, thanks for posting. The ethical view that the Pastor attributes to America goes way back to the ancient Greeks - Plato, if memory serves. Virtue is knowledge of the good life, so no one would knowingly do evil. As pagans, they didn’t understand original sin.

Don't listen to these people, their ministries. Listen to God, rely on God. Believe that you're a wretched sinner and that Christ died for you, that His shed blood has washed away your sins, that you ARE forgiven and that Christ was resurrected three-days later and shortly after that went back to Heaven to be with our Father. Then, do not willfully sin again. You'll keep sinning without wanting to and, when you do, you've got to repent and ask Jesus to forgive you. Read the Holy Bible, learn Jesus's commands, do your best to live by them even though you're not perfect. And love. Forgive others and love them. And don't put your trust in John MacArthur, Voddie Bauchum, Justin Peters, Paul Washer, R.C. Sproul - listen to them if you like. Sometimes they have good things to say. But trust ONLY in your Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. They can't save you - only Jesus Christ can, only if you believe.
