    Loved the Dad's maniacal laughter! He was like some mad evil genius scientist completing a project. Obviously the kids were having a ball as well. This will surely bring back some fun family time memories in another decade or so. The best part had to be when he asked his son "Do you want to stop picking your nose?" The kid answers with "Yeah". Excellent!

  • @bigtexas7580
    @bigtexas7580 5 лет назад +6

    I built my kids a 20 cell 12V lithium battery for their normally 6V power wheel Lil' Quad and changed the motor and gearbox to a higher rpm 6/12V unit and this thing hauls. The lithium battery is alot lighter weight than the factory acid battery so that alone makes it faster. It runs all day long without heating up or running down and it's so fast that when I take them around the block I have to run the entire time to keep up with it. It carries my 2 and 3 year old kids together with no problem, combined the kid's weight is 75 lbs.

    • @AnubhabKundu
      @AnubhabKundu 5 лет назад

      Thats a great power upgrade. If you want, let them get it converted to 24 V battery and 24 V BLDC motor. That would be more fun and 36 V (10S LFP) would make that a sports thing.

  • @mtealey34

    Wow! Good to see somewhere in the world children are allowed to play and be kids still. In the US you probably would have them taken away for this. Some nosy neighbor would call child services and have you arrested. When I was a child I would stay out all day roaming and exploring for miles. Playing in the woods and down several blocks from home with the only rule being that I had to be home before the street lights came on. Now, if a child is seen out alone playing away from their home people call the police and the parents are cited and in many cases they take the children, put them in foster care where they are molested often times. We live in a very sad, alarming time. It doesn't look good for a society when their future generation is raised in front of a TV and xbox hardly ever going outside, the elderly are abandoned and put in homes, and the government controls every aspect of life allowing no privacy. We are in a perpetual state of war and claim to be free in a nation that has more of it's citizens incarcerated than anywhere else in the world. Now put some helmets on those children before I have you reported. Cheerio...

    • @lieutenantURNER
      @lieutenantURNER 9 лет назад +5

      www.cnn.com/2014/07/31/living/florida-mom-arrested-son-park/
      Here are just a few examples of exactly what I was talking about. Parents getting in trouble and being threatened with having their children taken away or having them taken away for allowing them to play alone outside. I could get you statistics of the horrific amount of sexual and physical abuse rates for children that have been put in the CPS system but how about you go do some of your own research on the matter.

    Now you just need to get a second one set up for the other rear, and put convert both remote controls into a single peddle in the front. Maybe run some wiring so the kids can turn the whole system on and off from the dashboard. Then tweak the tires by adding a rubber coat with a pattern to give them better traction.
    God, that would be a fun one for a kid to have, it would probably be faster than most scooters.

    Excellent! I’ve just ordered two of the standard 6v motor/gearbox assemblies to make my son’s BMW Z4 2 wheel drive (mainly so that it has enough grip/torque to actually drive on grass), as well as replaced the lead/acid battery with 20 18650 cells. Having seen your video I think I know what the next upgrade will be, brushless r/c car motors!

    U should put servos and it so you can control it completely

  • @JT-ii8wo
    @JT-ii8wo 5 лет назад

    GET SOME SERVOS ON THAT STEERING, I did the same thing only added 24 volts to the existing motor which is rated for 36. Added a remote cutoff switch and a shiny new helmet. First time my daughter took it for a spin she wheeled and scared the snot out of her... Since then its been the toy for all 3 of my kids. Amazing how much torque in these motors. Ours is an Quad runner so easier to get on it so I took it for a ride, 190 6ft and it had no problems. The plastic hubs do need to be replaced with some aluminum ones those... the wheels basically break off the lock tabs inside the plastic hubs... so the Axle just spins. Loads of fun for the tikes... must get 10-12 mph instead of the regulated 3 these come with.
