That's why Dad's are so important at home. Mom's nuture and Dad's potentially put their kid's lives in danger in good fun, all about balance ya know ;) Awesome video!
Loved the Dad's maniacal laughter! He was like some mad evil genius scientist completing a project. Obviously the kids were having a ball as well. This will surely bring back some fun family time memories in another decade or so. The best part had to be when he asked his son "Do you want to stop picking your nose?" The kid answers with "Yeah". Excellent!
This is the perfect combination of mixing your hobby with good clean family fun with your children! I couldn't help but laugh when dad was laughing they are clearly having a good time! I loved this video! Thank you for sharing!
I rarely comment on videos (maybe 10 a year would be pushing it). But I wanted to tell you what I loved most about this video: Your laughter as you play with your kids, the joy in their faces and the final closing scene where your daughter hugs you. Awesome, mate. Awesome. (the brushless motor was cool, too)
probably one of the nicest videos on youtbe, the ending bought a tear to my eye reminding me of my kids at that age, youre a good lad Rich, all the best m8!
Absolutely hilarious and a great job. Thumbs up. I was showing my friend my RC cars and discussed brushless upgrades. He told me he had bought his daughter this very same ride-on and how slow it was. I told him I was convinced we could do a brushless upgrade..........you confirmed exactly what I was thinking 👍🏾
Wow! Good to see somewhere in the world children are allowed to play and be kids still. In the US you probably would have them taken away for this. Some nosy neighbor would call child services and have you arrested. When I was a child I would stay out all day roaming and exploring for miles. Playing in the woods and down several blocks from home with the only rule being that I had to be home before the street lights came on. Now, if a child is seen out alone playing away from their home people call the police and the parents are cited and in many cases they take the children, put them in foster care where they are molested often times. We live in a very sad, alarming time. It doesn't look good for a society when their future generation is raised in front of a TV and xbox hardly ever going outside, the elderly are abandoned and put in homes, and the government controls every aspect of life allowing no privacy. We are in a perpetual state of war and claim to be free in a nation that has more of it's citizens incarcerated than anywhere else in the world. Now put some helmets on those children before I have you reported. Cheerio...

Parents getting in trouble and being threatened with having their children taken away or having them taken away for allowing them to play alone outside. I could get you statistics of the horrific amount of sexual and physical abuse rates for children that have been put in the CPS system but how about you go do some of your own research on the matter.
I built my kids a 20 cell 12V lithium battery for their normally 6V power wheel Lil' Quad and changed the motor and gearbox to a higher rpm 6/12V unit and this thing hauls. The lithium battery is alot lighter weight than the factory acid battery so that alone makes it faster. It runs all day long without heating up or running down and it's so fast that when I take them around the block I have to run the entire time to keep up with it. It carries my 2 and 3 year old kids together with no problem, combined the kid's weight is 75 lbs.
Thats a great power upgrade. If you want, let them get it converted to 24 V battery and 24 V BLDC motor. That would be more fun and 36 V (10S LFP) would make that a sports thing.
TIL Brits still use the name "George" for their kids. I haven't heard a kid named George since I was a kid in the 60's and 70's. Glad you had loads of fun with your kids!! They are the best, and give the true meaning of 'unconditional love'....at least until they hit their 20's...ha.
Cut a slot thru the axle and wheel on the other side, then insert a flat plate in the gap for instant 2wd! Or get a replacement motor attachment + motor for the other side!
This was amazing and I could not stop laughing thanks for sharing. I also learned that men are just naturally better drivers. Look at him go flawless driving. You have a genuine racer
So did you ever get it fully hooked up in the car? The throttle and steering both working? I'm interested in doing this to my son's power wheels. I have a spare BL system collecting dust. Cheers
I laughed so much I nearly coughed a lung up that was fantastic what a great Dad thank you very much for sharing probably one of the best video's I have watched in a good few years Best wishes for you and your family. Thanks again
+Ollie W IU've lived my 49 years in US and have never heard the term "safety Sallies" before. Just as stupid as "nervous Nellies" and all the other idiotic sayings though.
This makes my motorbike when I was a kid look like crap. You just need to get some rubber to those front wheels to grip better to steer and fix the torque steer. Im sure you can make it better. Great vid!
Now you just need to get a second one set up for the other rear, and put convert both remote controls into a single peddle in the front. Maybe run some wiring so the kids can turn the whole system on and off from the dashboard. Then tweak the tires by adding a rubber coat with a pattern to give them better traction. God, that would be a fun one for a kid to have, it would probably be faster than most scooters.
Excellent! I’ve just ordered two of the standard 6v motor/gearbox assemblies to make my son’s BMW Z4 2 wheel drive (mainly so that it has enough grip/torque to actually drive on grass), as well as replaced the lead/acid battery with 20 18650 cells. Having seen your video I think I know what the next upgrade will be, brushless r/c car motors!
+oHerroPrease Was thinking the same thing, would work fine with more traction. Maybe even try cutting open some old bicycle inner tubes and rubber cementing them to the existing plastic wheels. Probably wouldn't last all the very long but would solve the control issues as long as it lasted.
rubberized spray on truck bed liner (is what I figure he's referring too) Might work alright. Can one apply it smoothly? The surface it normally has might make for a bumpy ride.
Hilarious! Brushless works really well for control. I stuck a 4S pack in the kids old car which had a brushed 6V motor, absolutely flew until it let the smoke out, was pretty uncontrollable as on/off switch. What spec of motor did you use?
It's hilarious that only the right rear wheel has power, making it very hard to accelerate in a straight line. Why wouldn't you connect both rear wheels after adding so much power? It would make it so much more drivable. Looks like a tons of fun regardless. Good idea and the kids love it.
I found large rubber bands that I put over the plastic tires for grip and what a difference. Not normal rubber bands these were from a package that I don’t remember from but are very durable. That was cool
Hi, Thanks for sharing this great video. I love the idea. im thinking of doing it with 2 motors and upgrade the volt as well from 12 v to 24. Any idea how to do that ? Thank you
"Mom is not home, what can I do with the kids?" Dad of the year this! :D

Vgh

Actually to make it more accurate with the tradition cooper he sbould use his own surname.
TRUE!!!! lmao
lol at the torque steer, the kid's reaction and the laughing. loved the video.

That is brilliant, very funny and heartwarming. Top stuff, loved every minute. Great kids too.
fullychargedshow now you put other gear and motor on the left wheel. kkkkkk
Memories your kids will never forget. That is what parenting is all about
That is the coolest and the silliest thing I ever seen I couldn't stop smiling thumbs up
This is so great of you to do for your children. Id be the the happiest kid on the block if I had a modded Power Wheels on my hands.
probably one of the nicest videos on youtbe, the ending bought a tear to my eye reminding me of my kids at that age, youre a good lad Rich, all the best m8!
I lol'ed when your little girl was in it. The quick one wheel peel turns was hilarious!
I had so much fun watching your video thank you and your family for putting a smile on my face god bless y’all

You sir have reached ultimate dad levels, your kids sure are very lucky! Great work mate.

***** huh?
+Peter Popoff Geez. Shut the fuck up. It's attitudes like this that make it a reality. Stop making this a THING.
Being a dad is the greatest nice job ! I miss this age with my son . great video
Cleverly simple and so fun to watch. Such a great vid.
Holy hell. Your laughter as you crash your children into things is amazing!

Best dad!

There are people here in America called "safety Sallies" You Sir have done a great job getting there undies in a bunch.... Cheers
We have them too, we call them ar$e h@#es

You deffo had more fun than the kids.
Love it. Top dad stuff.
Lucky children with a very cool Dad. ☺
This guy seems like an awesome dad. Those wheelies are great!
This makes my motorbike when I was a kid look like crap.
You just need to get some rubber to those front wheels to grip better to steer and fix the torque steer. Im sure you can make it better.
Great vid!
Put about 100 drywall screws in each tire and then spray the tires with flex seal. You will have great grip even off-road
Now you just need to get a second one set up for the other rear, and put convert both remote controls into a single peddle in the front. Maybe run some wiring so the kids can turn the whole system on and off from the dashboard. Then tweak the tires by adding a rubber coat with a pattern to give them better traction.

You look like you were having entirely too much fun. Cool little project.
Great video. Such cute kids! Awesome to see you all having so much fun
get that to all wheel drive and you will be GOLDEN!!! lol
😂😂😂 that made my day!! I was thinking of upgrading my sons Toy story car to brushless......now I'm definitely doing it 😂
You need to switch the plastic for rubber tires now haha. Great video I laughed the whole time

I'm surprised it made such a difference.

DubiousDrewski makes it more fun for dad so he can steer them around
What does having a rear axle shaft have to do with steering, exactly?
You never heard of a differential, I guess.
Brilliant. Your kids are some of the happiest around. 🤣
Hahahahaha that was hilarious, you should try a 3s lipo
6S ha
Great video sir! Working on mine right now! Functional test this weekend...
That was sp funny I was laughing out loud! Great kids
How fast lol, brilliant 😀
I found large rubber bands that I put over the plastic tires for grip and what a difference. Not normal rubber bands these were from a package that I don’t remember from but are very durable. That was cool
Next step, add some treaded tires
I'm amazed how the brushless motor fit so well into the power wheel assembly. That would never happen to me.
I was literally just thinking that
Awesome... always 2wd conversion first ;-)
That is one of the most hilarious things I have seen in RC. Awesome.
So awesome!
This is a great video! I'm doing this to my daughter's little powerwheels quad!
U should put servos and it so you can control it completely
That’s the biggest torque steer I’ve ever seen 😂😂😂 just priceless
awesome parents are awesome.
Great idea! That what I would like to do for my daughter. Any idea where could I get this brushless motors & battery ( like your's ) from?
had us laughing here, good fun.
A whole new "pimp my ride" show in the making ! lol
Pwahahahah amazing!!!! Also if you're going to go double motor maybe a helmet would be a great addition
