I started by checking to see how many Katherine (with different spellings) Asplund died in Sweden from 1830 to 2020. Not all them went by Katherine as most of them also had other first names but I'd guess that many of them did. There's 120 of them, and then we can add those who were born Katherine Asplund but then married and is listed under their married names, so the actual number is somewhere between 150 and 200, would be my extremely educated guesstimate (after 30 years of genealogical research I know a thing or two about name changes, mkay).
