    Ingredients
    - 500 g (4.5 cups) flour
    - 35 g (1.25 oz) dried sourdough mix
    - 10 g (2 teaspoons) salt
    - 10 g (2 teaspoons) sugar
    - 300 ml (1.25 cups) lukewarm water (38-40°C / 100-105°F)
    - 20-30 ml (2-3 tablespoons) olive oil
    Instructions
    1. Prepare Dough:
    - Sift the flour into a deep bowl. Add the sourdough mix, salt, and sugar, and stir with a spoon.
    - Add water and olive oil, and mix with a mixer for 1-2 minutes. Then, knead by hand until it forms a non-sticky dough.
    2. First Rise:
    - Cover the dough with a damp cloth and let it rise for about 2.5 hours until it doubles in size.
    3. Shape and Second Rise:
    - Shape the risen dough into a round loaf (16-18 cm / 6-7 inches in diameter) and place it on a greased or parchment-lined baking sheet.
    - Score the top of the dough with a sharp knife and let it rest for another 30 minutes. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
    4. Bake:
    - Place the tray in the middle rack of the oven and bake for 30-45 minutes until the top is browned.
    - Cool on a wire rack for 10 minutes before serving.

    - Flour Substitutes: You can substitute half of the wheat flour with whole wheat flour, bran rye flour, or corn flour.
    - Sandwich Rolls: For sandwich rolls, divide the dough into 8 equal parts, shape, rest for 30 minutes, and bake for 25-30 minutes.
    - Loaf Pan: You can also bake the bread in an 11x25 cm (4.5x9.8 inches) loaf pan.
