No, this is not something that anyone can do. It takes great resilience and an extremely strong neck to avoid being knocked out by a strike that you cannot dodge. It takes attrition, to be able to swing your arm full force multiple times without losing power. It takes the will to continue, when your cheek is swollen and your mouth is full of blood, and your opponent is not ready to quit. It requires accuracy, when throwing strikes, so that the penalties don’t cost valuable points on the judges score cards and create twice as much damage due to penalties/turn losses And it takes extreme flexibility in your hips and the ability to engage your lower muscles without stepping due to the force. This is a sport Guy.
The contestants provide their own cornermen, but just in case they don’t catch the fighter, we have padded the floor with 2 1/2 inches of EVA foam padding. It is safe for them to fall.
Why do they keep doing those insane windups. To set themselves apart? Like a special move look in street fighter. But it's clearly not working for them XD

We put Ricky through the ringer before allowing him to compete. He was given a course in slapping from Wolverine, Frank the Tank and Solid Slug. He also spent a good amount of time with JT Tilley making sure he understood completely what he was getting involved in. Every precaution was taken, and we were ready to step in at any moment if needed. Surprisingly, Ricky nailed it! Proud of him.
I don't know the full rules but is coach killa movements when getting hit allowed? It looks like he's dodging the slaps by moving his head back and rotating right before the slap hits.
Nah, he flinched a little on the first one before the slap on the first one but that’s allowed. He didn’t flinch on the second one. He braces and turns his head with the slap. It just happens so fast it’s hard to tell especially on 30 fps video. But he’s not flinching out of the way. Watch it in slow motion or hit play pause real fast on the swing in

What was up with Leadbelt ? I understand it wasn't his dominant hand but that performance was abysmal. I think Ricky's problem was not knowing how to position himself, or his opponent, at the barrel which resulted in him reaching out and pulling himself off balance. All in all, an exhibition on how not to slapfight and probably should have been ended after the 2nd or 3rd penalty before someone broke their neck or lost an eye. Yes Ricky persevered against Leadbelt but once he felt what it was like to actually get slapped with a little force he folded pretty quickly. And it's what you did your last fight that matters. But again, I take my hat off to Ricky cuz I never would have done it in the first place.
Problem is he hadn't taken a slap like the ones Coach Killa can deal out yet. So now he knows what elite level power feels like. There are levels to this shit, and he'll get better, but he needed that lesson to just understand the kind of monsters that do lurk out there in the darkness. I heard that Coach Killa once slapped all the goddamned paint off of a house once.
Coach totally held back on that first slap on ricky and I respect the hell out it. He did flinch on the second one a bit but this fight is something else so forget it. The fact ricky had the balls to do this is awesome and I'd love to see him return.
At least they reacted well to the penalties. This maybe is one of the funniest slapfights in history, but Bayou can definitely become a threat with some practice on his slap. You can tell he starts out in the correct slapping position and by his 2nd count slap lineup he has already lost the main location he started in. His power is no joke though
