I love watching these videos! When and where is the next raft up? I just bought a home on the Caloosahatchee in NFM. I just have a normal bay boat but I would love to come to a raft up with my wife, meet some new people, and watch the runs.
Awesome videos man! Just a spectator from the Netherlands :). Maybe it’s an idea to hide the mic and put some music behind it to cover the wind. Saw some videos where they pulled that of. Don’t want to mis that 2stroke scream though!
Hunter really enjoy vids, little late to the party. Just subscribed, I'm moving to Port Labelle next month. I hope to be joining the party soon. I'm eyeing a 1990 Hydrostream Virage w/96 Merc 2.5 EFI recently rebuilt. Any tips on my first performance boat purchase. Going to look at and test drive in a couple weeks and just wondering if there are certain things I should be looking for? Thanks and Kind Regards...
They hydrostreams are super common to rotting. They were built with balsa core and not sealed up well originally. So definitely get proof of rebuild or expect to rebuild it
@@weekendsonthewater mucho thanks bro. Yes I read something about that. So my next question is do you know of anyone selling a performance boat or possibly push me the right direction to look. Thanks again, honestly didn't think I would get such a quick reply and it's appreciated. Any info on my new venture is appreciated. Kind Regards....
Lots of great people, boats… with NO surf boats causing wake damage on shoreline, natural islands, docks, and other fast running pleasure boats lie what we see here.
A buddy of his here in ft myers did them. He was running a carb promax built by dave dreifort here. The motor is actually forsale right now. He hasn't posted it yet
@weekendsonthewater cool would he be interested in making another set? I told my wife we need to come down and make one of the runs with you guys looks like a great time.
I hope this doesn't come across as to critical or harsh, however, as much as I like watching your content, your videos are becoming too much the same thing. Although I've been around performance boats and boat racing for some years, I've never owned one. I'd like to change this in the near future and you can help me (and possibly others), by including more in depth information about the boats. For instance, in a video, you would feature an owner of an STV and have the owner talk to how he acquired the boat, what he's done to the boat, where he got his information from, etc. Then do a segway (sp?) into the history of STV and where folks might find a boat should they decide to get into performance boating. Then do this for an Allison owner, a Checkmate owner, etc. I see several boats in your videos I don't recognize at all. Anyhow.....it's just a suggestion.
Great video, Brother, as always! I look forward to watching your videos every time you post a new one! Awesome job, Sir! Keep up the great work! 😎 🇺🇸

@@weekendsonthewater OK when you have a chance, please send me the specs and a price. Thanks
Hey Hunter , at 3:20 did you hit the trim up a bit or did the wind pick the bow up like that? Btw sick video. Subbed 🤙
Little bit of both. I was playing with the trim and got a gust of wind so i just balanced it there till I trimmed back down
The Grand Sport @3:00 is sweet.
