Very nice and explicit explanations. As per your commenta @ 11:19 .... I am still looking forward to the bigger livestream (2 racks) setup you promised to show. Thanks
It's amazing how much the kit can shrink with the extreme. I'm building pretty much the same thing for my pro ISO and saving up for the extreme which is going to require a new build.
@@PortlandEventFilms woah cant wait for that.. maybe you can try a rig with the laptop inside the case along with a smaller monitor? As I am planning to do that..

@@PortlandEventFilms I'm going to be making something similar with the extreme iso and Zoom livetrack L-8 mixer. Is that lip you created just cut down aluminium angle?
@@BlaineCoury it sure is from what I see. Another option is epoxy on small L brackets. His method seems to use a lot of rivets for fastening. I prefer screws with loctite or nylon nuts.
The case looks great. I think I'm inspired. What do you do for HDMI runs that are longer than 50ft? Also, do you have any trouble keeping the HDMI cables connected to the outside of the case?
You can use fiber opitic HDMI spools or a wireless tx/rx. I use the Hollyland 300s pro and 400s pro. Just keep in mind they can't be used on port 1 of the mini, and ports 1-2 on the extreme due to compatibility issues.
Great Instruction out there! Here's what I'm confused about: 1. I've got one set of ATEM mini pro ISO, but since there's only one USB-C for my MacBook or SSD, is there something I can do to get on with live streaming while recording files into the SSD? 2. The ATEM's already got a RJ45 network, why do you still use a bmd streaming device? Looking forward to your reply. THX
@@PortlandEventFilms Great idea. I'll try it later. Since the ISO version will record up to 5 tracks of original footage, I'm worried about track width when I divided the USB-C port by using a hub...But it's still worth trying different way. Thx.

How much delay do you get between what you see on multi-view and what you see in the computer after passing the stream through the stream bridge and the capture card?
You should just stream from the atem mini pro. That is what the lan port is for. Way cleaner and you can still use the usb for recording. Otherwise, try a usb hub then it can stay digital.
@@PortlandEventFilms I think LeRoy is referring to the LAN port, the network jack on the back of the ATEM mini pro. At 6:55 through 7:10, you mentioned you can’t record via usb, stream, and use the multi-view... I don’t think that’s necessarily correct (though use cases may mean it’s correct). But the PRO version allows you to stream DIRECTLY to FB, RUclips, or any destination (e.g., restream.io) you want, through the internet connected LAN port, and use the HDMI OUT on the ATEM for multi view, and the usb can be used to record the program out... all at the same time, from just the ATEM. I think that’s what LeRoy is getting at.
@@ckjjclan with that said, can I still out put to a large screen monitor when my lan is used to stream, hdmi to multiview and usb for recording? am planning to use three cameras btw.. so only 1 hdmi for multi view is available..
