It's amazing how much the kit can shrink with the extreme. I'm building pretty much the same thing for my pro ISO and saving up for the extreme which is going to require a new build.

Ok so if I understand you correctly..
Atem mini pro HDMI output > field monitor for multi viewing and switching preview and program.
Atem mini pro Ethernet port > atem streambridge > HDMI output > capture card > computer via usb
Atem mini pro usb c port > hard drive to record the program out
    Did I get that right???

Actually, i have tested it myself the auxiliary jack on the ATEM Mini from a mixer sounds a lot much better than the audio you get from the USB preamps in the Yamaha MG10 mixer which are not the same for the mixer outputs and even doh auxiliary 8inch is not a professional jack but it is audio made standard and also is designed for audio specifically and gives you better quality and little to none sync issues with audio and video plus some latency it can tend to give through USB and the audio done thru the ATEM also in the ATEM you have a final eq and compression say on your audio unlike plgging in directly from the mixer to computer; also is not a network splitter is a network switch they are two different things overall great video and first time watcher

When you use the usb you have to use a fathead to get clean audio. I Always run the 1/8 inch and that is the audio I use to record to my atem mini.

The case looks great. I think I'm inspired. What do you do for HDMI runs that are longer than 50ft? Also, do you have any trouble keeping the HDMI cables connected to the outside of the case?

    • @RayOrsini

You can use fiber opitic HDMI spools or a wireless tx/rx. I use the Hollyland 300s pro and 400s pro. Just keep in mind they can't be used on port 1 of the mini, and ports 1-2 on the extreme due to compatibility issues.

    Great Instruction out there!
    Here's what I'm confused about:
    1. I've got one set of ATEM mini pro ISO, but since there's only one USB-C for my MacBook or SSD, is there something I can do to get on with live streaming while recording files into the SSD?
    2. The ATEM's already got a RJ45 network, why do you still use a bmd streaming device?
Looking forward to your reply. THX

@@PortlandEventFilms I think LeRoy is referring to the LAN port, the network jack on the back of the ATEM mini pro. At 6:55 through 7:10, you mentioned you can’t record via usb, stream, and use the multi-view... I don’t think that’s necessarily correct (though use cases may mean it’s correct). But the PRO version allows you to stream DIRECTLY to FB, RUclips, or any destination (e.g., restream.io) you want, through the internet connected LAN port, and use the HDMI OUT on the ATEM for multi view, and the usb can be used to record the program out... all at the same time, from just the ATEM. I think that’s what LeRoy is getting at.
