I remember watching these meetings on TBN as a young teenage Christian. I fell for the whole "tithing" thing for a few years. I had a crappy car, and I couldn't get a newer one, because whatever money i had left over i had to tithe so God wouldn't curse me.
One of greatest things God showed me was that we are not under the tithing law, but under grace giving, giving as we purpose in our hearts, not necessity, but because we love God. One of the hardest things for me to do was to stop tithing, and simply give out of gratitude what i could afford.
Tithing was not instigated by the Law. Tithing was a principle from the beginning of time of God's creation. Abel tithed plus Abraham tithed to Melchizedek which was before the law. Tithing was incorporated into the Law but its' origin was not from the Law so it is still a principle today. However, you say you tithed from the money left over after you paid your bills but the tithe is to be a first fruit before you pay anything else.

1:48:15 "Faith Is A Seed"! Jesus is healing the young man oppressed with a demon. "why could we not cast it out ... because of your unbelief"
JESUS told US, a seed of a Mustard! Read all the 2 Corinthians 9, and you will understand what Apostle Paul revealed to us. I saw in this video, this huge Building so many people feeling hot, my question is this: how does is it possible, if all the naive believers offered and gave millions for the ministry? I am só sorry to write this, but Oral Roberts chose the wrong faith and deception!
Good sermon, but The Theology of Prosperity sent so many famous preachers to the hell, as Oral Roberts. What a Pitty! Bur YESHUA Himself taught US that we can not adore two masters, or we adore God, or Mamon, the god of luxury and corruption! Thus says ADONAI ELOHEINU TSEKNU, the Just Judge!
In miracle deeds, He is God and a man in flesh on earth really. GLORY GLORY GLORY BE TO GOD, THIS MYSTERIOUS!!!!!!!
