The style is actually a real oil painting on a sheet of glass. Mob is pretty famous for this unique oil painting style to animate.

This anime is definitely worth watching, truly a rollercoaster of emotions
It’s not just the OPs and EDs that are trippy - the entire series is an acid trip.
Really like the bass line in 99.9 - makes me want to learn how to play it on my bass.

The art style is by ONE. The original One Punch Man webcomic was done by him, too. A manga artist did the manga version, which is what the anime follows. ONE did the Mob Psycho 100 manga himself.
What is this story about? Well, picture a person with the ability to level whole cities if he wants to. But he doesn't. He just wants to go to school, make friends, and confess to his crush. So he suppresses his immense power. But everyone has their limits, and what happens when he reaches his?
Mob psycho is very good and you should watch it on your free time!

This is one of my favorite animes of all time. You should definitely watch it.
Definitely highly recommend this anime. Its my favorite anime of all time and it really shows you alot of heart, alot of action and alot of life lessons! Also the animation is one of the best animations out there.

Hope you've had a chance to check this out, otherwise I'd love a reaction if you end up wanting to react to it. It's such a good series. Also the oil painting was so wild to see. The artist moved it very very slowly for each frame like stop motion. Between that and the studio literally creating the Mob Chorus to sing the openings there's a lot of passion in this show.

The first and third ending are made with paint-on-glass animation, by artist miyo sato!
The story is made by ONE who created One Punch Man. While ONE drew the original One Punch Man and Mob Psycho 100, One Punch Man was redrawn by Yusuke Murata prior to the Anime being made. Due to One Punch Man's success, Mob Psycho Got an anime based on the Original manga, unlike One Punch Man who got an anime based on the remake with Yusuke Murata's art at the helm. (the remake's story is still by ONE) That is why Mob's art is similar OPM but is more rough, while OPM is more polished.
