i just found this video and i think your voice is so nice and calm, the cadence is very nice as well. it is easy to absorb information. thank you for having an informative channel :D im excited to check out the rest!!
Actually, this knot is only useful if you want to keep the package contained in a net but without any compression and/or use only a single piece of rope (which is never necessary, unless you won't have any more pieces of rope as long as that). The solution to keep package tightly compressed is to use multiple ropes tied at one end to form a loop and the autolocking trucker's hitch. (I previously thought of maybe using a trucker's hitch after each wrap around of the single long rope, even if that would work without being self-interfering caused by the wrap-arounds being pulled in also the perpendicular (right angle) directions.
It's worth mentioning for us newbies that the standing end creates a box on the top, and never leaves the top.
Thanks for the nice video, I used this technique to hang a bookshelf speaker from the ceiling. Cheers!
Thanks Marks for very useful teaching..

Thank you for teaching us! I enjoy your videos very much!!!
It would have helped more if you told what length of rope is needed for a box of dimensions l x b x h and at what point to begin.
I always come back to this video!!
Same 😂
Like how you kept the standing and working ends in view or consideration.
Very helpful for hanging up my salt block!! Thank you
