Loving this. I own a BKD so know some of the woes it brings! Currently have an S212 hybrid turbo unit and a bunch of other parts, mainly Darkside. But waiting for a remap. I did have another BKD which made just over 230bhp, pretty much on the limit of the standard injectors. I have another BKD engine I'm looking to rebuild with forged parts and AMC head... Just cash flow! Good work dude.

Thank you. It is a fun car to drive with these mods. Only problem is the weight. I love it on top of the challenges it brings. Since I not use for daily 😂, before it was pretty hard. I havent tried hybrid turbos, some of them are good but not all. AMC head is certainly a must to have. With forged parts I assume you for bigger numbers right? ~300 and above? Looking forward to see your build. I'll subscribe 😋
@ I'm tempted to try and make a video like yours, some of the history, the work I've done to my current and the past Skoda Octi I had before. That would be the plan in the future for sure! I'd like to try and aim for the 300 marker. This is my third hybrid, long story, broke one by dropping it, another oil seal failed, third seems okay atm. Goal would be Darkside kit once I've done the engine, but that's a long time coming as I've never built an engine before haha.

Got 2.0TDI on A4, absolutely the same story. 2 heads changed, both cracked on 1 cyl behind the tensioner bolt and gulped the coolant. Not that expensive tho, plus i drove with the first cracked one for over a year!!
3 года назад+2
Hi, the issue with the cracked head is the water in the cylinder - even a little amount, for long period of time will corrode and eat the pd injector nozzle, which will degrade the spray pattern by blocking and damaging 1-2 nozzle holes. Also if there is damage on the surface of the nozzle will give better grip for carbon buildup. I just recently cleaned my injectors, and it is clearly noticeable where I had the water in the past due to cylinder cracks. Those injectors are incredibly expensive...
@ Thanks for the big explanation, I didn't know of it damaging the nozzles. But all is good now and Im looking for turbo upgrade. Can you recommend the 2056 on stock injectors? How much boost and when does it get into full boost with it, is it laggy? I'm thinking of either getting this or 1852/1756 for ~220hp and no lag
3 года назад+2
@@ddaniel987 GTB2056VZ is great but old, there are better turbos from D series already like GTD1752 from BMW, or 1756, any GTD17-18* hybrids would spool very well, handle a lot of heat, and can achive 230+ HP. I've just installed a GTD2060VK, to replace the old GTB2056. It was on full boost 2.4-2.5 Bars from around 3500-3800ish rpm but that is false sense, since I had the maximum torque. So it is for sure laggier, but you will have already more power before full boost than stock car. More important, that you will need at least 2000-2200rpm to start accel hard, below that you cannot really. But thats also depends on your cam timings... complicated.

But thats the beauty of the tuning , to find the sweet spot for your preferences. Smoky or not smoky spool, EGT temp, IMAP-EMAP ratio...etc. thats a long way to figure out how to do... I'm also expecting good results with this new turbo. Hopefully I'll be able to create new video with better results.
@ Hi again, are you still driving the car? And if so is it still running with the AMC head? Im asking because I just bought the same head as replacement and wondering if it is any better than OEM
I only live 5 miles from dark side so this has tempted me more now 😂😂, only thing is I keep hearing the BKD engine is common for coolant issues. I must have been lucky upto now, done 166000 miles no issues. I wonder should I get a different Audi first with better engine or will they all be the same?
It depends on year mostly. Mine is 2004. Started to lose cooland 2 years ago. From 06 no worryes with cooland/cylinder heads. Mine is with hybrid turbo after fault of the oem one. The effect is psycho.
Then your cylinder head number is allmost certainly C. So no worryes with that. But with map with/without new turbo cluch and flywheel will say goodbye for shure. Anyway, its really nive car to have and drive
3 года назад
I also had the C version for my car, but it has cracked.... there was slight revision, but the material itself is the issue. The only Cylinderhead which is bulletproof is the AMC. Sooner or later all the 16valve oem will fail. Especially with increased heat and pressure which is unavoidable with tuning.
Do you still drive the car? AMC Head still good? What was the benefit of using the BKD inlet on the BMN Engine?
2 года назад+1
Hi sure, but not too often. Since AMC no issues at all with the head. The main reason is the original inlet had the flaps, which are possible to fell off and kill the engine. On top, due to the shaft design inside the inlet , there is a very common boost leak. These are the reasons I have changed.
@ Many thanks for your response. If I understand correctly, the boost leak was worse with the standard BMN intake and better with the BKD intake? sry for the bad english. Greetings from Germany

@@thorstens.4475 no worries. Yes, the BKD intake is much safer, and the way to go! If you can, change it. But you also need different lenght bolts (screws) .

I have many things to take care, but the AMC head is so strong compared to any stock head.... cannot recommend enough. If your injectors, turbo oil feed (oil pump) and drains are good, there is not much to fear from. For sure you need a good tune, without any excessive EMAP or EGT you are good to go. If you exceed your clutch's capability, it will slip, but nothing serious. The whole story depends on how much power you request and from where (rpm).
@ Thanks for you reply bro! I'm aiming for about 250hp nothing more . Auralviolence yeah, but as far as i know they not as bad as the original A,B or C heads. And also cheaper Than brand new OEM heads. If you want to build a proper 16v street tuning over 230hp. Thats the way. And be very careful not to overheat, or cold push the engine.

Hi, thanks. When I bought the car, the engine was only registered by Engine Code (no engine number). In my case, it was easy. But heard, that if your engine number cannot be read due to oxidation, rust whatever, than they use only code in the registration certificate. But only works if you use the same engine it has been manufactured (displacement, cylinder no., etc). For the cylinder-head itself, you dont need any kind of paperwork. Currently the car is getting prepared for track use only. So it's not road legal.

Sooner or later you will face issues with dpf. A simple chiptuning is enough. Cc 200Hp. Should be enough. 140k km is not much.
Add 2 stroke mineral oil (low ash content) to the diesel fuel.. 200:1 mix.... it makes up for the low sulphur fuel which is now supplied at the pumps.. low sulphur fuel essentially increases the wear on your engine parts.... the addition of the oil increases lubrication, enhances combustion, reduces engine knocking etc etc.. the cetane rating changes for the better, more power, cleaner burn, increased mpg.. the cleaner burn also helps with passing the new stricter MOT limits (which can also be negated by just rubbing rubbing out the plate rating number inside the engine bay)
how are your EGTs doing? I have a 2.0 tdi bmn with about 200hp EGTs pass 900º

Hi, do you still have your DPF on? EGT could be also high due to bad camshaft timings (too much overlap) or bad tune simply. The stock turbo wont last long with 900 celsius EGT especially if you like to push car for 6th gear 200+km/h long.
Is the 2056vk turbo straight swap or it has to be modified in order to fit the turbo?
3 года назад
Hi, unfortunetly not a straight swap. Feed and return oil fittings are different, and also manifold needs to be customized since oem is cast together with hot side. 2056 cold/hot side also needs to be modified, and smart actuator mount fabrication + actuator arm needs to be swapped to other side to fit pull stlye. 😀 so basically full custom fit. 6 лет назад
If you remap, modify ecu, you can start thinking about to say goodbye to dpf. Stock ecu settings are engineered as a system together. Your engine should be full of carbon build up, dud to egr which is not good in long term. Also you have a very restrictive turbo which already having so much heat... And the dpf possibly more than 60-80% clogged. If you have more than 100k km in it thats a ticking bomb. For such a turbo like 2260 you need also bigger ic and better piping to achieve around 2,5 bar boost. You cant go greenish with egr and dpf and also bigturbo 300 hp. Thats not how tdi tuning works. Stage 1 remap is totally different than bigturbo custom tuning. What power you want, thats the question? If you want more than forget emissions. If you want emission forget tuning. Your Stage 1 will kill your turbo and dpf soon anyway. Check your preturbo egt with vcds on wot. Probably more than 900 degree C.

Edin Karic none of the 2.0 PD tdi is reliable. Too old, too much milages. Most of them are over 10 years and 200000+km's. If you buy one of them get ready to spend On them too. Anyway, great cars but they definetly needs more than simple maintanance. (injectors, dual mass flywheel, turbo, cylinderhead) be careful with them. Sometimes hard to tell What is the real condition On a used car.
Thank you for your reply, I really didn't expect for you to reply at all haha. I have been told that these engines with dual camshafts are prone to cylinder head cracking and oil pump problems, and that it has been fixed after 2006. production year, with newer BMM engines that have SINGLE camshaft and something like chain oil pump, that seems to be more reliable. Do you know anything about that? And what are your opinions on 1.9 PD 77kw/105hp ?
6 лет назад+3
Edin Karic not all 2.0 PD have balance shaft. If it has not, than simple oil pump with chain drive. Like mine(Bmn). The engines with 8 valves (1 cam) are not really the best, because lets Say they are old fashioned. But you are right more reliable. 1.9 pd's are good Strong engines but too high emissions. Really smokey engines. It depends What you really need. Newer car, or bulletproof. 1.9 is cheap, unexpensive to service and reliable.
I was refering to the 140 hp 2.0 PD BMM version, with one camshaft and 8V. I am not a hardcore driver, not planing on even remapping it, I am a daily driver and I just want to step on the pedal from time to time, to overtake quickly, and I don't usually drive over 150-160 km/h. And I was wondering, and reasearching if a 2.0 140 hp PD BMM 8v engine is reliable for that. I come from a 1.9 TDI 90hp Golf MK4. I'm on a budget so I wouldn't buy it if it will cost me a fortune in a year or two of service. Just wanted your opinion on that. Looking forward to your reply.
6 лет назад+1
Ohh i see the picture now. If you are looking for a newer, but also as reliable as the 1.9 was, than you should definitely pick the 8V BMM over the 16V BKD or anything else. Only disadvantage could be the that the single camshafts are more stressed (could be more wear). Also BMM engines are rare, if you buy it with high milage but still has the DPF, than it is probably clogged. So it could be very expensive if you want to replace. You should delete it, and write out of ECU. That should be fine. Regarding to the PD injectors they are bosch as far as i Know so it wont be expensive to change. Other components are the same (tranny, clutch, dual-mass). These are the basic thing around BMM.

Still have the recalled continentals. They are not perfect since they have 100k km in them. But no serious issues. The clutch and dmf are luk, the disc surface has been replaced with better kevlar composite material. 60-70k km in it. Sometimes i hear dmf when shotoff, soon it will need repleace but for its price it is super good. No sachs perf. kit needed.
@ ok thanks. I'm asking because I make a same Upgrade with my 2006 BKD and I often heard that the injectors only make 235HP and my Turbo is the original 1749 but Upgraded (for 250HP)... ok I think, that I'm testing the OEM clutch with another disk. How much Nm has the car?
6 лет назад
@leangains on ppd, injectors can make 300 but being honest i dont want to push so far without 2260, and with 2056 it is perfect for me. Based on Perfexpert results 540nm but it is definetly over 500Nm. But 140 and 170 clutch sets can be different. Not sure, but probably. You need to verify.
Racing brakes for the road - totally stupid idea: they are worse than standard brakes when cold. You did know the standard clutch is only rated up to 420Nm? Any serious remapper should have told you this. Did you write 'diffuser'? I don't see any working diffuser. Whoever did your welding should never be allowed near any engineering project.

We learned a lot during the jouney 😁 its not a professional build as anyone can tell. It was more like a discovery for my hunger to understand more about cars. I had many issues with dumb mechanics, but this was unavoidable since the budget was never high. Ferodo Ds2500 pads does not reqires many heat to produce more than enough friction. It's an entry level race pad. The LUK uprated clutch pack only slipped around 60-70k kms. Sachs SRE pack is 3x more expensive even with organic friction msterial. I never launched the cars, so for me it was enough.
@ amc better? My head is rev b and i think its cracked. Bubbles in reservoir with smoke at cold engine and loosing coolant visable leaks reservoir leaking and cooling flange above trans.. should i get amc?

@@mrboostification Whatever to A-B or C all can easily crack. NOT the visible crack what you see between glow plug and valve. Many people thinks that this is the reason, but not. The original equipment Head is shit... go for an AMC and you will never see that problem again. BUT keep your eyes on your water and oil coolant temp if you push it hard. If stock you can just swap to AMC and forgot head problems.
+Dávid Hollósy thanks about the answer i had on my bmn the M ones, with stage1 @215hp and 465Nm, with the T code i've lost a lot of power, i need to remake the tune or what do.you suggest. does it fit a 2260VK turbo?
Hi, by that time you see the dyno pic, it was very hard to find a decent custom tuner for PPD 170. They struggled to achieve that power ~230HP. Later on I've found another guy who is quite good, so we were able to reach much higher power in countless iterations and ofc supporting mods. It was a journey. PPD's are much complicated to tune, compared to Bosch EDC's.
@ sorry I didn't realize is was PPD! Yes that Siemens ECU can be a headache to work with. I have seen some people carry out a Bosch conversion on these engines :)

@@WPTUNED Yes, it is quite common to swap. I dont want to go over 300. BKD can easily. I would rather swap to a 2.0 TFSI for track monster later. But thats only a plan. :)

It was until 230hp and 460nm. Since then it smokes on low load. After beeing pushed severeal times it smokes just a little. I need to check EMAP-IMAP, than tune more precisely based on spoolup ratio. A few weeks and it will be done, I'll upload new videos soon.
@ can u give me a help with my car. Its a cr170 quattro. I want to remap it only but dont want smoke out of my car. Should i remap with dpf on?
6 лет назад
Sure, you can go up 200hp easily with dpf on. Over 200-220hp DPF cause problem restricting exhaust flow or too much heat to due to big restriction. You will loose dpf soon anyway. They get clogged around 150K km with stock map also. It depends on your km,(milage) or your decision. How long you want to own the car, what are your future plans, MOT ect...
My car currently has 180k km. Wanted to do a remap at APR local dealer and he told me to get rid of dpf. Its not illegal here not to have dpf but I dont want smoke out only to pass the emissions. And I want my car 200-205hp mostly dont wanna push it more
6 лет назад+1
200hp should not be smokey even without DPF. Usually APR are not the cheapest to go for a remap. If you have some individual tuning shop around, where you can check how they tune a cr170 like yours, that would be good. If you have money for APR go for it. Probably they provide guarnatee, so they dont want to mess with 150K jm car with DPF on. Thats why they suggest you to remove before it gets clogged anyway. I dont know where you live, but usually it doesnot get harder to pass emission test even without DPF. But you should verify this on forums .

That's the part I enjoyed the most. I still use this car for 3-6K km/yearly which is not much, but still there is a lot to take care.
Gratula! A legjobb videó a youtube-on.
Got 2.0TDI on A4, absolutely the same story. 2 heads changed, both cracked on 1 cyl behind the tensioner bolt and gulped the coolant. Not that expensive tho, plus i drove with the first cracked one for over a year!!
Im asking because I just bought the same head as replacement and wondering if it is any better than OEM
that reversed VTG actuator at 7:00 this is genius
I only live 5 miles from dark side so this has tempted me more now 😂😂, only thing is I keep hearing the BKD engine is common for coolant issues. I must have been lucky upto now, done 166000 miles no issues. I wonder should I get a different Audi first with better engine or will they all be the same?
It depends on year mostly.
Mine is 2004.
Started to lose cooland 2 years ago.
From 06 no worryes with cooland/cylinder heads.
Mine is with hybrid turbo after fault of the oem one.
The effect is psycho.

Anyway, its really nive car to have and drive
I also had the C version for my car, but it has cracked.... there was slight revision, but the material itself is the issue. The only Cylinderhead which is bulletproof is the AMC. Sooner or later all the 16valve oem will fail. Especially with increased heat and pressure which is unavoidable with tuning.

Do you still drive the car? AMC Head still good? What was the benefit of using the BKD inlet on the BMN Engine?

Hello! Thanks I'm fine. I Still tinkering the car, but with very limited time. Cuz it's a project car :) :) you know, never ready....
i also have a siemens pd(125kw 16v), and i think, they die. What can i do? Regenerate them, or swap engine to bkd? Plan is stick to 200hp. I must clean (or deleted dpf) and check turbo, because i have oil in intake manifold.
How is the reliability since you got all these mods done? I'm planning on using the AMC head + hybrid trubo, intercooler and dpf and egr deleted now, any other thing that I must look out for?
I have many things to take care, but the AMC head is so strong compared to any stock head.... cannot recommend enough. If your injectors, turbo oil feed (oil pump) and drains are good, there is not much to fear from. For sure you need a good tune, without any excessive EMAP or EGT you are good to go. If you exceed your clutch's capability, it will slip, but nothing serious. The whole story depends on how much power you request and from where (rpm).
@ Thanks for you reply bro!
I'm aiming for about 250hp nothing more . I just found out that my block is cracked even though it is fully stock (and it is the 2007 model too, c revision) so after watching your video I though it will be a good idea to get them upgrades done. Mine is the dsg and I will get service done on as soon as I upgrade to turbo.
Hi also another question, due to the stock injectors maxing out around 300, do you know wether the bkd head can be fitted with the 120% injectors to reach over 300bhp?
Of course it can! No need to change head. This is the same head as bkd, and bmn

Hii david.
Current amc head good for now?
I have bkd with hibrid turbo 2.0 to 1.6bar @4700rpm and head Cracked. Mine is rev C.
Hi, only the amc is a feasible option if you plan for long on these engines. I had 2x C heads cracked. That A-B-C story is bullshit, all factory heads are weak due to wrong alloy. Some are better some worse, I only met with the bad ones. It takes too much money and hassle to try several refurbished heads imo.
curious how did you clutch handle the power, I have a PD170 bmn starting to tune it and wondering if & or when am going to need a to switch it out for something
Hi Josh, when I bougth the car, it was replaced with LUK strenghtened kit (which is far from Sachs SRE performance price ) including dual mass. It was okay for 70K km. Ramping up from ~200 to ~280hp. I use the car with a map around 250hp and less then 500Nm in the last 2 years. 1 month ago the clutch started slipping. The springs weared out. For this 170ppd the LUK kit is reasonably good. I bought another one since I only use the car for 5-7K km yearly now.
Hi, I have bmn Seat Leon, i need information about injectors are they simens or from another PD engine, please help I have a big plan but i cant leave without this inf.😂😂😂thank You

Hey I also have an Audi A3 s line. Have also been thinking about replacing my rear diffuser with an s3 diffuser. Are those still the original exhaust pipes at 6:16? Did they fit directly into the recesses of the s3 diffuser or did you have to adjust something?
Hi Marcus, yes the s3 valance fit, but the original exhaust pipes wont be fully centered. So slightly offset.
Hi. Please, how did you handle the lubrication of that turbo? We want to put it on BKD and the master does not recommend it to us due to deleting.
Hi, you need to use custom made oil feed and return hoses. Should not be any problem.
Nice work :) Which engine the car originally had: BMN, BMR or BRD ? How is the AMC cylinder head per your opinion comparing the original one ? I can't find any reviews or opinions about these AMC heads.
Auralviolence Thank you. It was BMN with DPF. I didnot have too much km's in the AMC head (cc 4000km) so time will tell how they perform. I've heard good and also bad oppinions as well. Since the rebuild i dont really abuse her daily like before. I will upload some new videos soon to show how it runs.
Ehh, max mileage I've found with in the Internet so far was ~20000 km mileage with AMC heads for BMN, so no chance to know which mileage it could survive. Seems to be not very popular, the people are scary to buy not original heads.
Auralviolence yeah, but as far as i know they not as bad as the original A,B or C heads. And also cheaper Than brand new OEM heads. If you want to build a proper 16v street tuning over 230hp. Thats the way. And be very careful not to overheat, or cold push the engine.
Dávid Hollósy and also let your turbo cool down! 😂

Hi great work and nice video Ihave an A3 with BKD my question is in Hungary did you have any problems with insuring the modded car Iwas going to do an engine swap but have been told that it is hard to register an engine swap in Hungary unless its the same type of engine any advise would be appreciated
Hello, I like the build! I am looking to do similar but I am wondering wether you know where is the best place to get the turbo with the welding onto the manifold ?
Hi, this is only good if you have a good welded/fabricator. Very hard to weld it correctly, you need to pre heat the turbo and manifold as well. For me the turbo actuator arm has been changed, so no more space to use like darkside tubular manifold. Only custom things.

Sooner or later you will face issues with dpf. A simple chiptuning is enough. Cc 200Hp. Should be enough. 140k km is not much.

@ vs la Honda accord 2.4 ivtec 204 hp
Hi, unfortunetly not a straight swap. Feed and return oil fittings are different, and also manifold needs to be customized since oem is cast together with hot side. 2056 cold/hot side also needs to be modified, and smart actuator mount fabrication + actuator arm needs to be swapped to other side to fit pull stlye. 😀 so basically full custom fit. There are some company mostly in UK who ship hybrid kits premade what is known for minimum effort swap with no fabrication.
@ ok is there any bigger turbo that could be straight swapped, maybe 1756?

I have a 2.0 tdi Octavia vrs 184. It’s been remapped to 227bhp but looking at the gtb2260vk turbo. Can I get away without removing the dpf and egr?
Dávid Hollósy couldn’t I run low boost and keep egr and dpf
@@littletortiaboy2010 than why you should go for bigger turbo like 2260? Leave it as it is, and check inlet manifold, and valves for carbon buildup. If so much buildup, clean it out. There are some methods (walnut blasting) this way you can enjoy longer 220hp which is really good.

hi mate, please, where did you pass the pipe for the turbo gauge from the bonnet to the interior?
Both gauges are digital. So only wires passed through the firewall. If you remove the battery you will see a place where all other wires going in. I did used a thin carbon wand to pull in all the wires i needed. I hope it helps. Cheers

Do you usually warm up the engine before hitting the throttle?
@Maxime Ly I think he carries a hairdryer with him everywhere.....
For full throttle, yes. I wait until 70-80 C° of oil temp.
Could you please tell me your opinion on PD 2.0 BMM engine?
Is it more reliable than BKD and others?
From which car you use map sensor of 4 bar ?
Hello, it is quite common, I used the following : 0281006059
Are the injectors upgraded or what can stock run?
Hi, no those are standard replacement continental injectors...:(
Hi what clutch do you have in the car ?
Hi, I'm using LUK uprated, for this car (bmn) works pretty good. Recently changed the whole DMF +clutch+ pressure plate. It just started slipping after 80K km. But I dont feel the need to use Sachs sre performance.

Why is a piece of plastic (intake) so expensive? Hundreds of dollars...
To fuel the VAG as a corp. If you need to change it, you should buy used bkd alloy inlet + bkd screws. Cheap and much safer.
How did you make an audi TDI (diesel) make that kind of nosie?
probably the bad gopro mic. at the end :)
Do the cylinder heads go bad because of the dpf?
J Alcatraz No, because i didnot have dpf for years now. It has been removed when I switched to bigger turbo.
It is fine, i love it, but if you have money for S3 go for the S3 :)
2,4 bar boost with stock clutch and 6 speed manual?
No stuck clutch trust me.
Uprated clutch pack for sure. Not a Sachs SRE but uprated LUK.
@ What are the options for upgrading a LUK clutch? I have a LUK original system in my BKD.
@@jani00xd What power figures do you have? If standard 140 or remapped to 180-200 HP I would go for a BMN 170HP standard LUK kit. That would take at least 400-450NM fine. No need to have Sachs SRE performance for that torque.
@ I have standard 140hp with a GTD2060VZ fitted. Can't run max boost because of stock nozzles (around 230hp). And torque is limited to around 430Nm. If I go for bigger injectors in future, I would also need to make more than 450Nm... That's why I'm asking. Sachs is perfect, but pricy ;)
Which clutch and injectors did you used?
@leangains on ppd, injectors can make 300 but being honest i dont want to push so far without 2260, and with 2056 it is perfect for me. Based on Perfexpert results 540nm but it is definetly over 500Nm. But 140 and 170 clutch sets can be different. Not sure, but probably. You need to verify.
BKD-ban van 6szög tengely?
Why AMC and not OM?
All OEM has design fail, so they all crack inside. A or B or C whatever...
@ awesome i will buy amc head thanks. Was searching for amc reviews but can find anything
What injector code do you have?
Those are T as far as i remember the brand new continental ones, replaced by audi service
+Dávid Hollósy thanks about the answer i had on my bmn the M ones, with stage1 @215hp and 465Nm, with the T code i've lost a lot of power, i need to remake the tune or what do.you suggest.
does it fit a 2260VK turbo?
why is the power killed at 4k rpm?...
I saw your problems with timing belt.pm me.
Mario Biclesanu Thank you. I have contacted with you on faceballs.
What was the problem?
ben curl the dayco belt has streched 2x times. Use only Gates power grip On 2.0 pd's. Mario suggested to change the bolt in the timing chain kit to 1.9 PD bolt, but in my case only the belt was the problem.
Is it smoke free?
It was until 230hp and 460nm. Since then it smokes on low load. After beeing pushed severeal times it smokes just a little. I need to check EMAP-IMAP, than tune more precisely based on spoolup ratio. A few weeks and it will be done, I'll upload new videos soon.
@ can u give me a help with my car. Its a cr170 quattro. I want to remap it only but dont want smoke out of my car. Should i remap with dpf on?
Sure, you can go up 200hp easily with dpf on. Over 200-220hp DPF cause problem restricting exhaust flow or too much heat to due to big restriction. You will loose dpf soon anyway. They get clogged around 150K km with stock map also. It depends on your km,(milage) or your decision. How long you want to own the car, what are your future plans, MOT ect...
My car currently has 180k km. Wanted to do a remap at APR local dealer and he told me to get rid of dpf. Its not illegal here not to have dpf but I dont want smoke out only to pass the emissions. And I want my car 200-205hp mostly dont wanna push it more
200hp should not be smokey even without DPF.
