Agree with this comment totally. Yeezy changed the trainer market. People that weren't into trainers knew what a Yeezy was. Sure these don't look great but at least it isn't a 350. Nike on the hand are just milking dunks galore.

You CANNOT judge these shoes, without wearing them! That goes to you guys plus anyone watching this lol, changed my mind completely. These are a game-changer, in terms of feel/tech behind how it holds your foot, whether you like how it LOOKS or not.
I don’t think the purpose of this silhouette was to be loved right off the bat. Just to experiment with different ‘out there’ designs that people that hate on yeezys ask for every time a new 350 drops. That’s yeezys main issue. When they make good colorways of their go to models they receive a lot of criticism. Even if they’re a good shoe because it’s ‘too much of the same.’ Basically this shoe is to take steps towards future models and will eventually be much better received in the future. Call me an anti hypebeast but it’s funny how cats still love Jordan 1s yet a new colorway releases daily and yeezy can’t drop a new 350 every couple months without getting hate. Shits toxic and people need to stop dick riding Jordan and Nike because it’s ‘cool.’
Nice review foamie! The 450 feels a little unfinished on the upper, but after several reviews i warmed up on the shape and the looks.

Dope vid guys... I dig them though. People didn’t like the 350v2, they didn’t like the 750, didn’t like the 950 boot initially but some warmed up to them. I think it’s human nature to be resistant to change and different. They don’t look like a “sneaker” so it’s hard for people to embrace.
Sole is sick, the way they slope down to such a sharp toe just looks terrible in my opinion. The upper ruins these. The original mock up with the 700 upper was way better. I’d still pick up a pair for retail though

Let's not forget this important detail... Kanye doesn't actually design Yeezys. He's the Nod guy. Christian Tresser & Steven Smith do all the Heavy lifting. Steven Smith designed the Wave Runners which really isn't a surprise bc he's the "Godfather of the Dad Shoe" starting with New Balance, also insta-fury pump & Christian Tresser is most known for the AM97. I'd bet they're probably are responsible for 90% of the designing aspect of at least the best Adidas Yeezy models.

Majority of my collection are yeezy simply first comfort, then looks however the difference with yeezy and Jordan’s . Jordans have variation in materials, collars and if you were to take apart aj1 and yeezy tbh aj1 have longer lasting materials at a lower price point than yeezy. How many years can you wear boots or plastic before it falls apart. Hats off to yeezy for innovative designs which trumps Nike/aj1 however I would rather get a v2 700 with varied materials than pay for plastic and no boost. Overall I like em as a collective item, I am still not sure I would rock em tho. It’s would take a while to grow on me. Now the black 450 I may consider!
Dope review Family! I love the discussion you and Buckets had on these. I personally love the 450 model and it’s been a while since I have been this excited over a Yeezy release. The comfort level is definitely there with this pair and it’s easy to slip on and off. I think folks will gradually move towards it, after they release the all black pair and other color ways! Salute to you brothers for always keeping it live and real! Peace.
When these were first teased a few years ago, I liked the concept of using the foam for stability, for holding your foot down, instead of using some other structure. I do not like them as a finished product, though. Better colors might help, but we already know what colors to expect from Yeezys.

They're straight fire with adidas sweats, but they must be worn with the zipper up a little. Not a lot, but just a little to make them pop! The gear you wear with any shoe makes all the difference
In my opinion this is a shoe that pushes the envelope in footwear design! I design in my spare time and I appreciate new perspectives and innovative concepts that work. BUT, Phoamersimpson I need that beat you got playing in the background!
I feel like these compliment the 700 V3 so well.
The 500s complimented the V1 with the retro looks,
these and the V3s give off futuristic feels.

i love them and i got them. the only bad thing i would say is comfort is not that good. its more of a lifestyle shoe versus performance like for the gym or running. the dsign is ahead of its time, its like a shoe from the future. love it.

Felt you would give these around a 6 maybe 7 but I definitely understand the 5. It’s definitely a weird shoe. Not sure how I would personally wear them. My fashion aesthetic just wouldn’t mash with this shoe. I feel you need to be super bold with your outfit choices. Very futuristic with it. Tech wear vibes I get from this. I passed when had the chance but I’m a sucker for a 350v2 with a nice color way. I gotta say that the 380’s are more comfortable.

The silhouette of a sneaker is a major point of contention for me. I'm not feeling these. That tends to be the trend for me when it comes to Yeezys.
