Your point about affirming your man rather than always attacking the things he does/decisions made, as you want him to want to come home reminded me of a verse which is Proverbs 25:24 - It is better to dwell in a corner of a housetop, than in a house shared with a contentious woman! It's deep though. I rarely think about how much nagging and words affect men. In fact, I would even say I didn't know. I didn't know it can affect their whole frame of mind and they interpret it as they're not needed! Wow lol

Caramel Darling I would say the difference between respectfully holding him accountable and nagging his ear off is in the tone that’s used and the motive behind what is being said. (For example: I thought you said you were going to take the bins out! - babe please remember to take the bins out when you leave). I’ve definitely learnt that tone is very important to my husband during our 6 1/2years of marriage😊
Quiet true. I think when a woman knows that aspect of their personality, they can inform the other party at the early stages so that he would not misconstrue that aspect of her personality.
