Numster was a surprise hit for me. I didn’t think I would like it at all, but finally tried the PNP version a few days before the campaign ended. Wow, this game was a lot more fun and accessible than I expected. Huge surprise. I immediately backed two copies. Now a copy of Numbsters, and the PnP Arcade game Galdor’s Grip, live in my backpack and get played often; no table needed!
Thanks for the play thru! I enjoy these ones you do on button shy games! I would love to watch you tackle Tides! I really struggle with solo game! So hard to defeat A.I.
Oh, it would definitely be a hard mode, in fact I think it might make things completely unbeatable, but at the very least would mean the randomization of the cards would really dictate how the game went. Maybe if you could instead do a swap and a move on a single turn.
Thanks for watching. In both of these cases, I didn't use the ability of the 10, I simply ate following the normal rules of sequential numbers with the larger one getting eaten, so the 10 didn't need to be moved.
Thanks for the preview! I love the art of this game. I think you forgot to put the 13 to the back after you used the power at 12:28 though.
Sure enough, good catch! It's easy to miss things like this as I'm recording and explaining things in between thinking and doing.

Thanks for watching and leaving a comment! Unfortunately, Tides didn't click for me and I ended up trading it on...
I was surprised that moving the 8 is allowed. I wonder if not allowing that would be a functional 'hard mode'.

@ 14:00 and again @ 15:25, shouldn't the 10 have slid to the back? I think the first time (if the same move following it) would have been game over

12:29 Forgot to move 13 to the back.
Yup, sure did. Check the pinned comment.
