@@MonkFilmz when i look into those waterproof keybaords the science is pretty simple. they literally just put something between the switch and pcb which has something hydrophobic properties and then add drain holes. it's not expensive to do but it ruins the sound of the board.

"I'm definitely not gonna recommend this keyboard to anyone" My friend asking for a keyboard and mouse package under $10: This is great! Seriously though, When I recommended a decent keyboard they say it's expensive when it's under $50
Hijami, did you leave a link for the waterproof keyboard? Is it also resistant to booze? I have got to buy one of those for those for drunk gaming night!
Here's a fun story about cheap mech boards. One of my country's reputed Local Companies brought a Mechanical Keyboard for very cheap. Someone bought that board. He was experienced in Mechanical Keyboard line, so he felt something fishy about the board after using it. He pulled off one of the switches. Turned out, it was membrane underneath. The switch was just a show. And the company marketed that thing as "Mechanical Keyboard".
So I have one of those 60% hotswap keyboards, very similar to sound and attributes of the $75 keyboard he showed off in this video. He mentioned that with an extra $50 you could make the keyboard a lot better, what specifically would I spend the $50 on then? Also my spacebar has the same exact thing as shown at 8:27 where it will only produce a nice sound when pressed in certain spots, how could I fix that?
I'm surprised you didn't recommend the 5 dollar board, you get a full size kb thats waterproof with actual mechanical switches for 5 dollars. That's incredible if you're on a budget.
Holy shit, can we get an ASMR video with the last keyboard? 😂 It sounds so smooth with the right amount of clickiness. I don’t see myself gaming on PC but now I want a mechanical keyboard for my future studio setup
I really think you should mod that $5 dollar keyboard, like lubed stabs, and with a linear switch that sounds really really premium like a tealios, or a banana split.

I’m actually so confuzzled on how it’s waterproof.

maybe it has some space at the bottom so water can store there and make it heavier. Eksde
