We use Google at school a lot and Google Keep was introduced, but it was never explained thoroughly, so I never really used it. After watching this video really helped me understand it better! We have so much technology thrown at us that I go on shut down!

I have a genetic condition that means seeing plenty of specialists and taking multiple medications. I keep a list of medications, doctors, diagnosed conditions, previous surgeries, and family medical history to help me fill out paperwork whenever I see someone new. A neat feature is that you can indent items. For instance, I have two titles, prescription and OTC, with my medications listed underneath.

With the app on my phone there's the option to search your notes for key words. I have a note that lists our family cars info. I can then just search for car and my note will appear. Of course I must have at least 100 notes. My whole life is on the app. Another feature I love is moving the items in the list up and down by touching the list item at the box, then you can move it up or down. Get for after brain storming, ex grocery items. Then organizing items by your stores layout. Thank you for explaining the other options. I learned some new stuff.😀

Thank you for the simple tutorial. I’ve been using Google Keep for about five years. I latched onto it when I kept buying the same Tim Holtz Oxide Ink pads repeatedly. I’m my Keep I now have a list of all of the Distress Oxide colors I have in pads, refills, and sprays. I also have a separate list for Distress Oxide. I also keep a list of the 3-D embossing folders that I have so if I come across a great price on one I won’t buy a duplicate. I also have a list of my Perfect Pearl colors! I have lots of lists and watched your tutorial to find out how to put them in folders. I love Google Keep!

Omg, Nor. I have seen, and sort of used Google Keep, but this is SOOO helpful. I have used it as a grocery list so that when my DH is out shopping, he can just look at it, and if he picks some of the items up, he checks them off the list. I was trying to figure out a basic list s I don’t have to uncheck or figure a way to check certain items while maintaining this list. Maybe that Copy function would do the trick for me. I will definitely check it out. Will also check out the Word game. It might be a little fun for me, and maybe a group of us CO subs. Thank you again, for your vids.

just tried out the google keep you can also indent an item under another section by using the (ctrl + ]) button under the section of a note and you can list them instead of making them a grid view top right corner, been playing you can also move the notes around to place them either in order or where you would like them to fit

I've tried electronic organizers and such many times. But I still go back to paper. I might try this but honestly - I doubt I'll be able to keep it up. I appreciate this info so at least I can try it out and know what I am doing. Maybe it'll work for me this time. I just worry that it isn't secure enough. I don't do anything on my phone that requires a password. My email was hacked once and I am gun shy now. My credit card was used by a hacker in Sri Lanka or some other crazy place. Easy to prove it wasn't my transaction but horrible to fix.

Thank you for this, but your option for a sponsor is outside your content for home organization. I avoid games and ads but I'm not abandoning you over this sponsor option. Please keep sponsor options in your "wheel house." I hope you aren't offended by this feedback.

What are you talking about. You get to organize a whole farm. This would be great to keep my grandson busy while I organize.

Fair enough! I personally like the game to decompress and wind down - but I understand your point. Thanks for the feedback!

So, you are asking Google to track you-

I feel like the tracking happened the minute we started using cell phones. At least I can use it to my advantage. :)

ZERO confidence in Google anything. Major privacy and ethical issues.

I pay for an adblocker, but can;t avoid ads like the one you purposely put in at 2 mins. Sorry - but I want an ad-free experience - I'm unsubscribed.

RUclips isn't "free" for content creators to make, and carefully curated sponsorships help them offset the costs in cameras, time and computers to make the stuff we watch for "free"

Thank you so much, Barb!!!!! I wish more people understood this.... I do make a small amount from RUclips, but I promise, it is offset with the number of hours I spend researching, scripting, filming, editing each video I upload. And all of that takes equipment, which is also an investment. The fee that anyone pays for the adblocking does NOT get passed to content creators. Meaning, if they can't make at least a little money, they will have to stop creating. I try to be very mindful of the people I choose to collaborate with and how many ads get shown in my videos. I truly care about the viewing experience and do my best to respect their time with limited ads.
