Well done, Great purchase. The full-fat Rangy Rover you got is the one to buy, far less issues than the Sport. Don't forget you have radar-guided cruise control on that, you also need to turn on forward collision alert from the main screen menu, can be annoying although it can also be a life-saver. Don't forget there should be a proper fridge in the arm-rest. Also don't put anything thin on top of the gloss black centre console area such as a CD, if you brake, it will slide inside a gap in the dash never to be seen again. If you have any problems let me know as there is often an easy fix, I have had 8 Rangys, you will never want to be in anything else.

need to check & see if the RR is on bumper to bumper warranty, if it is? You can get everything fixed at a RR dealer for zip, they fix, they pay.

Im actually on my second Land Rover. My first was an LR3, my latest is the Range Rover Supercharged. They have some serious pep to them. My bet on the first thing that will go wrong, will be the air suspension. Love my Rovers but that is their number one problem. But if you maintain it well, they are pretty reliable. Ive had them for 10 years now as daily drivers. Minimal issues.
There are 95% of Land Rover still on the road today. The other 5% made it home. Good luck on the maintenance guys...

Congratulations guys! An amazing car for the money. I sold Land Rovers for a few years and generally it’s the electronics and odd gremlins you will have problems with. For the most part the drivetrain is pretty solid.

I work for years and had to be in at 6:00AM so I got up at 4:00 AM got off at 2:30 pm and I love It. Retired now at 67 years old and loving it...
The issue with the acting was, that y'all had already said how many cars were getting detailed...👏👏but great job

Small helpful input for detailing do the interior first also when you back it up to wash put some kind of Matt a carpet underneath the tires so you don’t potato dressing on the driveway. Love y’all.

If you are going to wrap it, you have to get the Selenite Grey Magno. Its the matte color that you see on mercedes amg's all the time. I saw a Range Rover Vogue with that colored wrap, and it was the coolest thing I ever saw.

I've owned 3 Range Rovers, and all were great cars, in fact still have a 2013 Sport. There have been no issues worth noting, save for normal brake, exhaust, work. Sure some people have issues with them, but they aren't all problem cars - people just like to hate on luxury brands believing they should be flawless because you pay more. Anyhow, enjoy the new whip, looks dope! Also, look into Firenze Red wrap, its a stock Range Rover paint, and it looks wonderful on their trucks. Cheers!

My dads Range Rover broke at 55k miles broke an axle and another part on him randomly. The dealer wanted 12,000 and he didn’t think it was worth it. Sold it to them broken and went over to the dealership next door, Porsche and walked out the door with a Gt3..

Went from a 40-50k Range Rover to like 250-300k GT3 at that point it’s really not about the money it’s about the toy
Jiro J the range was a sport supercharged, with a strut package I think he told me it was 100k and his gt3 was 153k it’s not a gt3rs haha

Should be direct injected, so it will carbon up considerably, you will notice it by a rough running condition and will eventually turn on the Check Engine Light, Also make sure before 100k that you replace the timing chain and guides, common failure point, if it does skip timing it will cost you some head work and maybe a piston or 3. but good luck with it

So far I have had zero issues with my Landrover LR4! If you have issues do not go to the dealer if you can fix it yourself I recommend this company that is in the U.S called "British Atlantic Auto Parts", they have tons of parts for the Landrover/Range Rovers and way, way cheaper then the dealership. My friends use them all the time. Even something simple as brake pads, way cheaper. Legit good company and they have videos on youtube!!!!

had my range rover for 5 years,never went wrong....love em....here in the uk on early range rovers people removed the r's so it read ange over as in hang over....

I knew almost instantly but said to my wife she wouldn’t get all that silver. Really hope all the silver trim gets blacked out. Looks better than the sports. Bigger and more luxurious.
Get a cheap or free used stove/oven and powder coat those rims yourself. Devin Niemela's channel has some good videos on powder coating your own rims and parts and having them turn out awesome.

First up will be air suspension fault . Hopefully in warranty. Had two and that seemed to always be the issue.
Congratulations on the Range Rover, it looks fantastic, and those vehicles are super comfortable.
I did own a Land Rover vehicle before, and what I can say is that the repairs are definitely what kept me from even looking for another one, BUT, that only means that I got a bad unit, not that they all are bad. You guys might have just gotten very lucky and got a reliable one. After all, the lasting of these vehicles is what drawn me to buy one in the first place. You did fool me at the beginning with the ownership acting by the way.

I would say wrap the range in the same color as the ford truck y'all were wrapping. The silver/chrome side overlay, I would wrap black. And also a black roof wrap. The brake I would refinish in a blue or even yellow finish to compliment the look.
The rims would definitely have to be powder coated black or a dark graphite.

how does the Range Rover compare to the SRT Jeep? My friend is looking at getting one of those but he is also scared of Range Rover reliability.
