Its actually way more significant than it looks like, finally valve can render hd intros on source even if they didnt change it much it still is an advancement, but i kinda wished tf2 got a seperate intro just like dota or csgo got when they were recoded from source 2013 to the panorama engine
@@SuperFranzs yet the games were removed from source 2013 and put on a source 1 & source 2 hubrid engine, panorama is just the UI yes but the engine changed with the update aswell

Its not really possible, basically what does 32 and 64 bit mean is that the CPU registers are of that width, so the only difference is that on 64 bit machines you can store bigger numbers: on 64bit max 18446744073709551615, on 32 only like 2 billion. well, you can store more texture data on the CPU, but that doesnt really work because textures need to be first transported to the GPU which it has its own VRAM. . . . TL:DR : changing between 32 and 64 bits doesnt do shit xdxd
Valve changed the actual video file. If you look closely or read the comments already, you would've seen the valve logo appears immediately and is more shaky than the video from the 32 bit build.
he's talking about the tf2 64-bit beta, which changed some assets. previously, tf2 did not support 64 bits, choosing to run in 32 bit compatibility mode instead.
Go to tf2's properties setting in steam, then go to the beta tab, click the "beta participation" option and click "x64_test". Tf2 should now want to update and once done you can launch it in the 64 bit version.

Panorama was just an update to the UI system, it wasn't a new version of Source.
