I watch daily bumps all the time ever day
when bubbles are on the side or edges they are ready to flip
a tip for next time - start "drawing" your pancake on a non heated griddle and bring it up to temp when you're ready to cook! it gives you a bit more time to work and you can have a bit more control as you can lean your hand on the griddle. you can also play with different colours more because you can cook the outline to make it darker and more defined then fill it in with more batter (: this was an awesome first attempt love your channel and your kids are so adorable!

It helps if you turn off the stove when you make the design and then turn the stove on when the design is done and it will work better.
