    You can test current in batteries without a multimeter. With 12v you can use a 12v lamp in parallel with the battery and it starts bright. But if you turn on the circuit you built, the lamp will dim some. If the lamp is dim, then a lot of current is used for that circuit. If the lamp is off when the circuit is on, then the battery has a short circuit. If the lamp stays bright and not too dim, than the circuit used a little bit of current from the battery.

      Thank you, but tbh after messing with it a few times again, idk if I will make that video. Getting peak performance out of that circuit honestly feels like more effort and cost in dead transistors compared to making smth a little more complex but solid with a dedicated driver.

    I built a 2 wire or 3 wire bldc motor driver with the alarm IC, 100uF super capacitor, 1k ohm resistor or an led, 100 ohm resistor, and bldc motor (3 phase). Sorry I don't have a diagram for the circuit. But it works.
    I used snap circuits to make it.

    Dude, that's very nice. What is the wire gauge you've used for the secondary? Is it 0.15, 0.19. 0.2 OR 0.25 mm? What is the Resonant frequency of your coil and how many turns have you got on that primary? Mains Slayer exciter are pretty much nice to build provided you tune it well & don't push too hard on them. Else, they are nice diy's. Nice video & keep it up.

    • @firefox1136
      @firefox1136  2 года назад +3

      Thanks, the wire is 0.1mm in diameter and the coil has 800-900 turns. I don’t know the resonance frequency, but I guess, it is in the range of 500-700khz. I will do some improvements to it and then post a full length video on my main channel.

    • @firefox1136

    • @firefox1136
      @firefox1136  2 года назад +2

      Sure, my circuit is based on the circuit from lab coatz, here is his vid: ruclips.net/video/Q0lkg9lxz3s/видео.html
      (Be carefull tho, since the output of the circuit is not mains insulated, and you can get an electric shock if you touch the arcs! I modified the circuit, so that that doesn't happen but the circuit from the video linked above doesn't have that so it can shock you. It is NOT a good circuit for beginners.)
      I am gonna make a video on my main channel about an improved version of the circuit in the future tho, so stay tuned for that.

    • @firefox1136

      The current consumption of the circuit was well within the range of the FET I used as well as it’s voltage rating. I also did a CW run of the coil some time ago and it ran fine too.

    • @twhvyt
      @twhvyt Год назад

      Just running in mains doesn’t mean it’s going to break if it stays inside the specs of the silicone component, it’s like saying plugging your phone’s adopter into 230v to charge will kill the phone, but 110v doesn’t

      @@twhvyt I'm not talking about the voltage, as far as I know this circuit it's pretty unstable, drawing current from it means higher current peaks across the MOSFET that can destroy it, at full bridge rectification it should draw double the current than the single diode version
