I've found that when paper macheing, tearing the paper instead of using scissors to cut them is my preferred way. I've found that tearing the paper exposes the paper fibers and they combine with lower layers better than the sharp cut paper. With sharp cut paper I feel like I can see edges more than I can with the torn paper. It is more time consuming tearing each strip but I like the outcome enough to take the time to do it 😄
If you get a short string of those battery-operated LED lights from a dollar store, a string of 10-15 lights, you could possibly put the lanterns over the LEDs and have them actually light up
Thank you for the suggestion! Yeah that was the plan originally but it wasn’t in the budget or time to try and make that all work and look clean. But I do plan on making. Other dioramas with that down the road.
I’ve tried and it was too difficult for me to keep a seal without the knot. But you might be able sort it out, I didn’t have the patience beyond what you see 😆
Going by the one in NYC, it does look a lot like it. Infact, there is a large street called Bowery that will go into that curved street. Forgot the name of the street, though.
Me preguntó si alli donde esta no tienen calefacción,porque va super tapado, hasta pañuelo tipo bufanda y cuando sal te a al exterior,se va a enfriar.Tenga cuidado.
I grew up making our own paper Mache piñatas for family bdays so this looks fun to do miniature ones
Yeah! That would be cool to see

Wow ! How do you come up with these ideas….!!!??
Good question!
If you hold the balloon with the haemostat, without the knot, would the balloon be reusable?

That’s exactly the street Image I was inspired by, the client lives there and sent me the reference
Just curious, but how much did you charge for this whole diorama? It is amazing the amount of detail
Thanks for asking. It’s based on hours, at a skilled wage, I don’t comment prices in public forums
@@OilersWorkshopwhat would be the proper way to contact you?

I am confused why is Ron Swanson making dioramas on RUclips?
