Let’s be honest, Alisson has had an extremely hard year, losing you father is one of the worst experiences imaginable. Scoring this goal will have boosted his mental health and his self belief by 1000%. Congratulations Alisson you’re our hero!
And he did it with Nat Phillips partially blocking his sight of the ball! What composure! He deserves a medal for it. Had Nat got a slight nick it would've been 1 - 1.
Losing his dad and not even being able to fly over for his dad's funeral, would have devastated him. I am sure his dad was watching him from above and guiding that ball, in this match toward the goal, from his son's header.
It's like a movie. So many factors made the moment poetic. The time ticking to a close. The Team needs the win. His father passed away recently from a tragic accident. He is a goalkeeper not a striker. He left his box and over to the other side for the corner kick. And he does a header. It struck home. Creating history. The rain pours as his team celebrate their victory hugging him. Moments like this makes Football such a beautiful game.
Everytime I watch this, brings a tear to my eyes. To see how much it means to both Alisson and all the other lads, it's magical. And to now know, this goal, literally put us back into Champions League contention. Alisson Becker is a true Liverpool hero. He will go down in history forever as our first goal scoring goalkeeper. It took 129 years to find a legend of a shotstopper, that was good enough to be a goal scorer. I could watch this video forever, it makes my heart burst out of my chest. Liverpool has always been a Club where the unbelievable happens when you don't expect it. When you have written them off, they tend to surprise you. Who could have thought that after such a wide gap in this forgettable season that could close the gap and give themselves a chance? It's this emotion they create that binds the fans even stronger to this amazing club. Incredible Football Club. The Incredibles!

2:26 Goodness me, Firmino I can understand but our no. 6, Thiago what an involvement!! Dare anyone say it's just his first season, but look at his passion... Thiago you've just booked a permanent place in our hearts!
Allison, Firmino, Fabino and Thiago - all 4 are BRAZILIAN, that's their connection and thats why Thiago was so involved with the celebration. Just in case you didn't know: Thiago has Brazilian parents, his father Mazinho won 1994 with Brazil the world cup. Thiago was born in Italy where his father played at that time and Thiago has dual citizenship: SPANISH and BRAZILIAN....
It was also an emotional moment because Alisson was dedicating the goal to his father who died 3 months ago. You can see him pointing to the sky and saying "é pra você pai" (it's for you dad) in english
you can see wijnaldum isn't as passionate as he was before. i think the time has come to say goodbye to him. he will be a legend but this last season i could see no passion on his behalf.
@@georgeryan09868 I know right. He's the only player to 'walk' and then jog towards Alisson. Even Salah, the so called selfish player is so evidently ecstatic.. to be honest, I am disappointed with Gini. 😐
Respect to Klopp for going all the way up there just to calmly hug his assistant manager. Not many managers do that for their assistants. And in another angle at 4:09 he even looked for him first.
Brilliant! What a beauty! Forget about the shitty season, forget about champions league classification, forget about all the problems and just enjoy it. For moments like this one we live and die. For moments like this we’re proud to support this club. This means more. Up the bloody Reds!
I don't speak Portuguese, but I had read his father had passed away recently; and when Allison pointed to the sky and gave thanks, I just knew he was dedicating that momentous goal to his Daddy. x
Salah's emotional outburst after securing the win against Man U, now the pure emotion and relief this absolutely incredible game winner against West Brom. Something special is happening here again. What a club.
Hahaha, with each one marking someone, from the corner of their eye they probably mistook him for the ref and then realised too late, how else can they explain the amount of space he had... Crazy!
To Trent, is clear common sense to send it to Alisson. Trent crosses are damn accurate in most times. and since Alisson is wearing black, it's so easy to pinpoint him with the cross. Everyone also thinks goalies are only good with hands. Good that he proved them wrong.
So did I. I knew something special is going to happen when I saw him coming and I rly hopped it did, I couldn't believe it when the ball went in, I was waiting for the referee to Raise his flag
This is absolutely the happiest moment in this season of Liverpool. I can know the feeling of all the players on the pitch at that time, it's easily no word to describe. Well done Alisson Becker Love from Viet Nam
I couldn't hold my tears when the net bulged. I thanked god. I might look like an absolute emotional fool if we miss out on top 4 but the truth is that I had already given up on top 4 when Leicester won at Old Trafford. I was mentally prepared for europa league. I've always loved Alisson the most out of all our players. He's been through so much. He lost his dad at the start of the year. He made mistakes due to miscommunication with the centre halves he didn't even know at the start of the season. I've always backed him through it. No matter what happens, whether we miss out on top 4 or get relegated, I'll always love this club.
Thiago has become such a leader. Love to see it! Love to see the video is over 5 mins. It may never even happen again in a goalkeeper's life!!! Alli deserved it. God be praised. ❤️👏

@@thoratreides9536 Leeds and Liverpool are rivals? Never heard of that tbh

I will never grow tired of this. Everything about it is perfect. Sounds like Trent screaming when Alisson scored, the big happy smiles on everyone's faces and Alisson's reaction pointing to the heavens. What a moment
I felt same too. I observed same too 💕
@@Testimonies2764 truly sensational moment. One I will never forget

After his goal V united
I got all teary watching this goal over and over again. It is such a special goal to Alisson, Klopp, the team and the entire LFC family.
Liverpool fan for life. ❤️
@@satoshidaikoku6642 thanks Satoshi. I just recalled that yes he does have Brazilian parents. But it still is remarkable.
Ye he even said where’s my boy I think
aaaaall the looong way up....it's soooo long omg!......yeeah :|
Brilliant! What a beauty! Forget about the shitty season, forget about champions league classification, forget about all the problems and just enjoy it. For moments like this one we live and die. For moments like this we’re proud to support this club. This means more. Up the bloody Reds!
On point.
Well said
At 2:46 he says: "This one's for you, dad!" - His dad died in an accident in February 💔
(I'm Brazilian and can read his lips)
And....he became a Dad this week
As I Brazilian myself I can confirm it is true (I'm Japanese by the way)
I don't speak Portuguese, but I had read his father had passed away recently; and when Allison pointed to the sky and gave thanks, I just knew he was dedicating that momentous goal to his Daddy. x
may his soul rest in peace

No it was the goal keeper coach I think Alisson said in his interview
@@zidaneakbar7209 John Achterberg, our GK coach told him
Trent's delivery is just wow as well
It was sadio mane. Just when ball went out he signalled him
West Brom players like "Nah no need to mark Becker"
Alli: "Hold my gloves"
Yeah the one guy with that dark outfit! Lol
And he took it personally
I celebrated like a child when the goal was scored, but after watching the replays I realized how bad west brom's defending was
Hahaha, with each one marking someone, from the corner of their eye they probably mistook him for the ref and then realised too late, how else can they explain the amount of space he had... Crazy!
To Trent, is clear common sense to send it to Alisson. Trent crosses are damn accurate in most times. and since Alisson is wearing black, it's so easy to pinpoint him with the cross. Everyone also thinks goalies are only good with hands. Good that he proved them wrong.
I literally said Please God let Allison score and he did , it was truly a unforgettable moment of MAGIC
So did I.
I knew something special is going to happen when I saw him coming and I rly hopped it did, I couldn't believe it when the ball went in, I was waiting for the referee to Raise his flag

Well done Alisson Becker
Love from Viet Nam
i'm so grateful we have him in our team, the passion, mentality, G.O.A.T
I couldn't hold my tears when the net bulged. I thanked god. I might look like an absolute emotional fool if we miss out on top 4 but the truth is that I had already given up on top 4 when Leicester won at Old Trafford. I was mentally prepared for europa league. I've always loved Alisson the most out of all our players. He's been through so much. He lost his dad at the start of the year. He made mistakes due to miscommunication with the centre halves he didn't even know at the start of the season. I've always backed him through it. No matter what happens, whether we miss out on top 4 or get relegated, I'll always love this club.
