I have owned my 2020 NSX for almost 3 months now. This is ABSOLUTELY the most underated supercar. It literally does everything well. It's always someone who has never driven or seen one of these that speak badly of them. I am more than 100% happy with my purchase and would do it all over again.
@@rivervalegroup Coming from a BMW i8 to the NSX, it has been thrilling. After several weeks of driving, it performs similarly to the 911 Turbo S and Huracan that I've driven before. I hope to own both of those in the future, after eventually selling the NSX.
There are many reasons for buying the Honda NSX over the rivals you mentioned including reliability. When Honda build high tech cars they also make sure that the technology is cutting edge as well as durable if maintained properly. I would love to buy British (McLaren) but the customer service and build quality are way off the mark. Great review thanks.
The new McLean sport series is going to be a v6 twin turbo hybrid. Ferrari already makes a super expensive SF90 which has 3 electric motors (two up front and one sandwich between the engine and gearbox) and a twin turbo v8 so a bit better then the NSX Porsche will be making a hybrid 911 soon cause 992 PDK gearbox alredy has space for an electric motor. So new NSX was ahead of the game in the super sport segment. Now compered to the SF90 it gives you 90% of the performance for less then 50% of the price! Like the first gen NSX compered to the Ferrari 348/355! I really like this car because it is so unique. Now people who look at specs only will never get this car but just go and drive one and you will astonished of what this car can do and how unique it feel!! Ps you have cup holders you had them in the glove box. The holder slots in that little gap on the passenger side of the central console.
I really like this car and if I could find a post-2018 model I'd be tempted to buy it. However, 2 things stop me from buying one. 1) All examples I've seen are of the pre-2018 variety plus priced at post-2018 values. 2) When I contacted Honda re-servicing I was informed there were no mechanics qualified to work on the NSX within 3,000 Km + of where I live! No wonder they're not selling!
Superb review. Superb. OSV can review a car like no other. If you want to buy a car you should watch an OSV review first; no more information needs to be learned.
Great review. I like these but would never pay price new. 911 turbo for me. In USA they are not selling well and used most prices are at 100k or more. 70k or under used they are worth looking at.
This car is loved only by those without the means to actually purchase a car over $150k. Those who can actually afford something around $200k go for a legend like a Porsche Turbo. When Honda abandoned the original fantastic NSX it told the enthusiasts that they cannot count on this company. Porsche has real pride and commitment to their products especially the superb 911. Shame really because Honda has the engineering but unfortunately the engineers are working for the accounting department while at Porsche it’s the other way around, and that tells you all you need to know.😉
Frank Ly, That is why Porsche was a lost making car business, which was sold to Volkswagen group in 2012, Honda have been the original owner of Honda, and Today it still is. So much for Porsche not working for the accounting department.
Only things I genuinely don't like about this car is the base infotainment (excluding apple and android pairing) and the pitiful cabin storage. No cup holders! Other than that this is an amazing car that can live much longer than the competition.
EV motor drive up front and on the engine flywheel require a huge money outlay for special workshop tools, cradles, diagnostic equipment. Special Extensive Technicial training for gifted dedicated personal. Well beyond the general line technician. Every nut and special fastener requires special respect for ultra performance. Customers expect, and the product demands that only the best sales and service awaits them at reception. I'm retired after 47 years with BMW, M-Benz, Rolls-Royce, SAAB and Delorean. I'm also an ACURA customer. I like what I experience from them👍🇺🇲
Easier to service in North America because the 321hp Acura 17-20 MDX Sport Hybrid and 377hp 14-20 RLX Sport Hybrid uses a very similar EV powertrain as the NSX with a 7DCT. The maintenance requirements and service schedule for the MDX/RLX Sport Hybrid powertrains is the same as other Acura/Honda with sh-awd powertrains. The only service item for the MDX/RLX EV components for +200,000 miles is changing out the DC inverter coolant at 105,000 miles (same coolant as the engine).
I would have been more impressed with the review if he addressed the nasty peeling leather side bolster on the seat. I am in the market for one of these now and with an hour-long presentation, less time need be spent on reading the Honda Brochure and more time on obscure details that are not in all the other reviews.

8 out of 10 that have (or have driven) both think NSX is a better car than the new corvette. If you are concerned about cost over performance, then yes, the corvette is a better buy. 🤷🏻♀️
I don't like the presenter 👎 Too much clattering of lips Too little agressive driving, Don't think he pressed the GO pedal past 1/8th opening. Perhaps he'd be better suited to cooking reviews. Love the car - nuff said👍 🇺🇲
If you’re gonna mention rival car brands so much, which to be fair you’re probably gonna do a lot in an hour long video, are the cutaways every time necessary? Might want to scale it back a bit. It comes across as comical after the 15th time 😂
The technical drawings and component photos are welcome 👍 Even more views underneath on a lift, suspension views with tyres removed would be fantastic 👍🇺🇲

That's fantastic to hear, Hermann. Glad you enjoy your NSX!
I buy and own Honda and Toyota Only for its Reliability and Styles
SAVE BIG in the Pocket..👍🤩👍
Agreed.. l like it more than my Turbo S
I thought I 've seen everything about this car on RUclips. I was wrong. The best review available today, great work. Thank you.
Thank you for the great feedback, Bart. Glad we could help!
I agree ☝️ BEST review I’ve seen yet.
As an Acura NSX owner, I enjoyed your review. Thanks for posting! It's been thrilling for me to buy and drive this car in December.
@ Pat’s Garage Online, thank you for not calling it a Honda NSX.
Our pleasure, thanks for watching! Did you enjoy driving it?

Great review. Very well done guys. As a 2021 owner I can say this car truly is an engineering marvel and worth every penny. Great video!

Such a gorgeous car just like the previous generation nsx's. I did see one on the freeway the other day.
Love this car I just bought a 2012 f sport Lexus 450h v6 6 speed cvt myself electric power is awesome.

I heard you don't require a mechanic with a Honda, maybe just once every few years
Excellent and thorough review as usual. God, I want one👌

Well, this brightened up our Monday morning! Thank you for watching 👍
Fantastic car, it would be the sports car I'd buy if i had the coin. Great review
The development of this car is going to be amazing
I like it....but not at this price !
secondhand with 3-4K on them they are 90K down 50K on list
the most underrated supercar in the world....it was released in late 2016 as a 2017 model not 2015.

If, having a woman in your life is not complicated enough, try the NSX; complexities beyond the understanding of the average brochure fantasists.
The inside trim is not plastics it made of aluminum
👍🏻 NSX

With modern technology and links to the factory you would realistically think that more Honda dealerships could service this vehicle.
