Okay so I don't know why everyone is saying Shane is hypocritical. He clearly suggested Ryland to do a video with his ex, which maybe he wanted to feel equal with Ryland since Shane did a video with his ex. Now of course Shane would get a little jealous cause honestly who wouldn't when you're in a relationship with someone? Come on now. And I'm sure Ryland gets a little jealous too when Shane does those kind of videos with exs. It just seems Ryland is more comfortable with it. But they are adults so pretty sure they both talk about the videos they're doing especially if it involves an ex or something similar to that. I think it’s because Shane is or was super insecure. Not that he doesn’t trust Ryland, he probably just thinks it would be easy for Ryland to fall in love with someone “better” than him. Idk, I could be wrong and I’m not saying that it’s not fair to Ryland, but I just think Shane still has a lot of self worth issues. Shane jokes a lot about his insecurities, but you can tell he really doesn’t think of himself as attractive whatsoever.
I do think that Shane is slowly getting better and starting to feel good about himself though.

The problem with taking an online singing lesson is that a video can't hear you singing yourself! so they can't tell you what your range is to sing, or if you are singing in the right key and pitch. so I would encourage you to try real life voice lessons if you really want to get better, or make music. It benefits you! -- this information is coming from someone who has done 5 years of musical theatre and 3 years of voice lessons. Love you Ryland!!
