    So I dont have to actually put it on the window because of apt rental window or just to make it faster I'm thinking about just taping it to the sides of the wall around the window and leave the see through curtain closed over it like a shied. Use it more like a window shield than actually taping it to the window. Would that work?

    Also is there a curtain version of this that would be better? Like a see through lace curtain or see through thin curtain on one side with this material on the back

      Using a "white lace" curtain is somewhat similar because the white "reflects" the light, making it more difficult to see inside. Of course the clarity / view thru of looking through lace vs looking through the Contra Vision HD Privacy window film will be completely different.

    Could you use water to apply, then squeegee it out like you use with window tint? Seems like it would be easier.

      Hi Carly…I would not suggest it.
      When you’re tinting a window, the film is solid and you can literally see where all the water solution is and you can squeegee it in one direction to get all the water solution out.
      If you use a water solution when installing perforated film, it is VERY difficult to see where all the water solution is. You would think that it would just come out from where all the perforations are, but that’s usually not the case.

      @@1swttl that makes sense, in my head the perf was a solid sheets with dots on it....so it looked perforated but wasn't actually. Duh
      I'm thinking of putting it on my home windows. My thought is if the white is facing out, it won't attract the sun in the first place. Now its tinted, but the sun just beats in all day, as if it's not helping at all. Thoughts?

    Could I use this on/ in my car?

    • @1swttl
      @1swttl 2 года назад

      You can, but you don’t want to roll your windows up and down or else it causes the material to come off over time

      Any professional "window tint installer" can install this easily.

    Does it provide any privacy at night? I would guess not

    • @1swttl
      @1swttl Год назад

      Unfortunately, there is no product on the market that provides privacy day and night AND allows you to see out of.

    Is it easy to remove because I rent?

    • @1swttl
      @1swttl Год назад

      Easily removed...its sort of a"big sticker". You just peel it off the glass when you move.

  • @illwill5215
    @illwill5215 2 года назад

    Does this permanently stick to the window or does it come on and off for people living in apts?

    • @1swttl
      @1swttl 2 года назад

      This is a removable product. However, If you're installing this on a large SINGLE PANE glass, I would advise that you use a heatgun/blow dryer when you go to remove it to assist in the removal. Cutting the material with a sharp razor blade/xacto knife into smaller "strips" will also make it easier to remove.
