Awesome never caught the loki angle and I have two. Also good point it won't be Stat based but 1600 flat rate . Every nerfed hero who has ever existed never reached this level. Nerfs are for the complainers. To appease, it's never been about balance. Starwalker was overpowered but this hero isn't? The absurdity and level of absolute greed is beyond measure. I think with the low odds there won't be a massive outcry after the initial shock wears off. But since the inception of this game I believe every nerfed hero should be restored back to they're original form. It's just disgusting the way they treat the community and players. Greedy vipers with no honor. Nerf lesser heroes then turn around and release this. And I'd bet my life they were told in beta this was just ridiculous
Love the videos content as usual 🙏👍🙏, I got given a warning from support from complaining about loot tickets and VIP passes. Complaining is classed as a breach of the t's and C's.assholes.

I'm thankful I stumbled upon this review as I saved all my free coins and waited until an hour before the event ended to do some pulls and got Sludgus on the last one. After casually looking at the card I thought, ok another yellow healer that does a dance thing and figured I'd get around to leveling later. After watching I started leveling the slime ball asap as I have enough mats to max and fully emblem this one. Thanks for opening my eyes with your excellent appraisal of this new hero!

The caster doesn't do the dance so you can still single target her down. Hits from effects like Guardian Hippo and Becky also can't be dodged so they're useable if you need to take out the team. I don't like how broken her effect is. Yes there are counters but if you don't have one of a very few specific units you're probably losing
You can but forget about the mega minion nonsense
Von Rothbart (purple opera dancer) is a great counter to her and overwrites her dance spreading it over the whole team. Him paired with heroes that have exploding fiends like Iga or Rocket and then have a minion maker or mega minion maker on your team to slowly pick them apart. It’s a more passive aggressive kind of attack, but it works.

Dont know if many people know about this but iam setting up and playing with passive attack teams with counterattack..example iam using Arco, goldie, 2nd costume Cyprian, Luna ad phenexa..either they kill themselves or Luna takes them out ,goldie keeps raising attack up phenexa speeds up, and keeps buffs going like counterattack and Luna buff...works really good
Yep these kind of passive teams are becoming more and more effective on attack strange how teams full of healers can actually do really well on attack 😀 thanks for sharing 👍
Simple: wait a couple months for people to give SG a butt-ton of real money to max out the character as quickly as possible, then let SG pull the rug from under those suckers' feet by nerfing the hell out of it!

If you have any Insanity Heroes, you could be lucky and have Sludgus cast his spell on your Team. Starlass from the Astral Elves seems like a great Hero vs Sludgus as well.

Red 4* raul from the opera family gives a dance to the enemy. It will cancel their dance. He also attacks so he can loose his life at the same time
No worries,guys. They'll collect their $942 million from the whales, wait two months, then nerf her to reasonable levels. Now, if a F2P (FOR LIFE) peasant like myself were to get her, they'd immediately change the heal to 5% and the damage to 16, not 1600. 😂
Feels like we're about a year away from a hero having; very fast speed, counters with 1000% for 8 turns, silences all for 10 turns, boosts health for 5k, and summons 3 mega minions for all. Wheeeeeeeeeeee! 🥳

So other dance efects override dance efects so say 4 star red Raul could make them dance his new dance that makes them have less mana regeneration and less healing . Also some heros have pasives and skills that never miss . And some needs to try Mad Hatter see if he can barrow the dance yo him . Your welcome
Hey Mc Naulty. 👋🏼 I like the Loki suggestion.... How about using Franz, C Caedmon, C Sonya, Itham and other heroes that cancel out the use of special skills? Nullify her before she fires off. It works whenever I go up against dance type heroes.
@@ruqayyaabdus-salaam4724 hello m8 yep it's super tricky cause she removes most effects so I don't think those guys that give ailments that block buffs actuall work I haven't had a chance to test yet myself but I'm pretty sure she just blasts through ailments.

Heroes who have block buffs also counter Sludgus effect.Sludgus ally's who are with block buff effect don't get the dance
Unbelievable...I don't know what else to say.
Super Tank. Crazy tank that heals 50% to all at average and can cause 1600 dmg EACH doge.. if your attack hits all enemy, it only takes 2 guys to doge to cause 3200 dmg.
Pulled her after 4 single pulls. I'm excited to get her rollin

Good point McNaulity I was able to kill her with 6 purple tiles in mono. Lucky that the tiles lined up. Haha
Your buddy lepiota could come in handy. And purple snipers like Santana, that purple poison knight. Spider lady will likely come back. The phantom could overrrider her dance too.

Guardian Chameleon might be decent. He removes buffs that are undispellable and can remove the dancing.
@@bradleyjcabrera good shout but if he can miss or be dodged then it won't work. I don't have him to test but could be really good if he can't miss.
Got 2 of her.....Aside from cAnubis for greed against her or Chang'e may work and of course the elves since they never miss

This damage is higher than any counteratatck heroes... and probably higher than Zhuge Liang costume.
Another counter could be using a hero like lepiota with her ghost form special to neutralize sludgus for a few turns so that way you can try and take out as many other heroes as possible before having to potentially deal with her. I'm sure we'll see more heroes with lepiotas mechanics in the future
Always a good strategy anything that buys time can work but u still have to make sure ur ready to take out the sludge when she's unghosted and with the mega minion passives that's the tricky part 😉 tysm 😊 🙏

SOOOOOO....I am so behind on commenting on your videos. I apologize, brother. THIS HERO IS BUSTED!!!! I don't care if there are a few counters to her, you still have to have those heroes in order to do. Astral elves hit always! Doesn't matter if it's not a kill shot, she will just heal next time. I am already preparing to see her at least 6-12 times in WotK. Highly anticipate a nerf as well. Didn't pull for her, will wait for a generous Covenant Summon.
Additionally, have you thought about doing a "state of the game" video. Could of things I would address if you hadn't noticed them. Since the last major update, it seems, to me anyway, that the tiles are moving slower than they used to. This is more noticeable fighting the Titans. Also, they have tailored some offers based on your roster. Epic Offers have been offered to me that would give me the mats for a final ascension (normal ascension not involving aethers) like 3 rings plus a 4* blade or 4* book, etc. I would go and check my other account and either would have nothing offered, or something completely different. Mention it to my clan mates and they see nothing so they or the system at least is keeping an eye on you. I took the offer and Rust is almost completely done so will be ready for the next WotK.

C Loki have 2, Change have 1, mana control like Wp or C Alasie have 2 etc. there are always some counters to new meta heroes, its just the thing you need to test and try it out :)

@@McNaultyYT also, I think the dodge mainly refers to special skills. So C Diochan that steals or Cao Cao that dispells can be of much use. Dodge ability is great but it refferes only to special skills or auto attacks. Minions or mega minions that clense or steal can take this with no effect, apart from the one that hero heals once the dodge goess off. But I was always a fan of blocking before cleansing or stealing, because heroes that block are maonly faster than the ones that cleanse or steal 👍😉
Lepiota can be used to put her into ghost for 4 turns.
Definitely the most OP-Ed. I got her and she wasn't killable by 2lb-ed toon and other heroes at 3/40...now I 2lb-ed her and she starts with regen too. Will be interesting how she will work now.

I think that if you end the dance prematurely by killing her, it needs to do like 3200 hp damage to every dancer.

Hello sir...another great review and Ms. Sludgus is DEFINATELY one to watch out for. Great counters also...I automatically thought of your "single" snippers that damage a lot or has an effect (Ramona, Rochefort, Malosi, Lodius, Tahir, Zarga, etc.) These are the heroes I have but I'm sure there are more...since when she dies, the dance ends. Additionally, Guardian Hippo ALWAYS hits and if you use her with a healer(s), Taught hero (s), or someone like Willow (on her 2nd Charge), you can damage without the risk of the other team dodging the attacks. Am I off based? Not sure if anyone else thought of this or mentioned this already! :-)
Single target snipers and Hippo are both good counters for the Yellow Jelly u r spot on Edwin 👍👍👍
Snipers are actually not good because if you do more than 25% of her health, she gets that massive 51% health Mega Minion from her passive, which will basically negate any damage you've done.

I was hoping she would be like Odile and the dance effect can be blocked with the buff block aliment but she unfortunately removes all aliments as part of the dance so that wouldn't work. But overwriting it would with another dance affect which if the wording is correct shouldn't be able to be dodged but not seen anything yet. Thank you as always.
Yep the overwrite with dance does seem to work I have a video from an alliance mate where he has done some pretty extensive testing. I have 2 in my alliance levelling her now so hopefully soon I get to try some teams against her too.
Overwriting with dance like Christian Dae works but the hero can still dodge it
Buff block does stop the dance I have tested. Even if she removes the block dance doesn't apply that turn.

I think ur right on the money there anything that can buy u time against her is a blessing she can be silenced but I don't know whether the buff block or buff reflect works against her. We have a couple in my alliance who have pulled her so hopefully I will get to do some proper testing soon 🤞🤞🤞

I have her. I think she is vulnerable in defense because she doesn't dance along. Or am I seeing that wrong? And all status effects of the allias will be removed when the dance begins. I think she is not extremely overpowerd.
Ur not wrong she is slightly more vulnerable on defense but that said her megaminions are excellent protection and if u pair her with another strong healer on defense like CDiachan or CHathor she's pretty much indestructible. Huge Congrats 👏 🙌 ❤️

How about Mindless Attack as a counter (used before Sludgus)? Yeah, another OP hero. Not the first one, not the last one. This is something you call a lack of balance. And every good game should be balanced as far as possible.
Thanks Ukas 💯 if u can get it off before Sludgus that will work but for the most part ailments will be risky to take up against her. A Single target sniper with MA like bubbles will still be fine after she fires but then ur just delaying the inevitable. Heroes that don't miss Copy her skill and super hard hitting single target snipers like Toon Lianna Sartana Marjana they are who I think will work best.
