- Blocked Drains and pipework system , Drain Clearance UK attending site to investigate and clear Manhole Chambers and pipework runs.
All internal Toilets, Sinks, Baths, Showers & Urinals blocked. Eight External Manhole Chambers Blocked, cleared via the use of mechanical equipment.
I definitely wanted to see more of the high-pressure hose action but I love the camera work in general.

your sewers in the UK are so much different than here in the states take those were the main clean out
not really they just do them shallow and they use a square manhole cover for cleanout/service tie-in points. where as here we tend to have just longer runs between manholes. technology wise its same thing pretty much anywhere... gravity and lift stations...

In the 30's they had cesspool jumpers. They would just jump right down in there and clean it out by hand. Nobody wanted these guys to come in town at lunch though

I love watching jetting but didn't have much opportunity to learn it...looks like you take alot of pride in your work. . i know alot of guys that clear a stoppage & then tell the owner to clean up or hire somebody. .
Clean it & charge for it..it wasn't sterile before hit it with power washer like you did..beautiful. .
What i want to know is..if you did that as maintenance with it running...would you be able to go from the far end all the way through going through those boxes, with the lid still on, and just wash out everything without much extra labor??? That would be great if they could budget and call you for maintenance, they get less mess stink and inconvenience. .. ❤❤❤❤❤ the videos thanks

Are the newer drains built with larger diameter pipes? And steeper angle,seems the whole system is always in danger of plugging. I believe systems here use 6 or 8 inch septic pipe
The fall is dictated by the depth of the main sewer. You can't have a big fall if you have a long run and a shallow sewer! These pipes serve one dwelling, they rarely block if people avoid flushing grease and wipes!

I definitely saw some turds in there. It's also interesting to see bricks in one of those holes. I can't imagine the time consuming process of laying bricks would result in a more durable wall than concrete or something. These are all poignant considerations when it comes to watching sewage videos.
