HOW TO GO FOR A SPINNAKER RIDE

Hey Babe, you want to get high? It feels just like a magic carpet ride!
All you need is:
A spinnaker
A 34 ft sailboat or longer
2 lines
8-12 knots of wind
3 adventurous friends
A Mooring Ball
Step 1- Reverse your boat and stern tie to a mooring so that the bow of your boat is downwind.
2- Run a single line between the clews of your spinnaker the line should be 150 % the foot of sail) this is your going to sit and swing on.
3- Tie a control line to one of the clews the line should be 125 % of the mast height). Have a friend on the bow holding that line at all times.
4 - Jump in the water and go sit in the middle of the swing line. Hold onto the line with both hands.
5- Now get high- the wind will lift you out of the water, you can help the wind by pushing the swing line away from your body with your hands.
6- When you want to come down, you just need to collapse the kite. You can do this by pulling the swing line towards your body with your hands, or have the person on the bow tug on the control line, or simply shift your weight so that you are off center.
TIPS TO STAY SAFE:
*Make sure you don't hoist the Spinnaker halyard all the way to the top, so you can create enough space between the flier and the boat, in case things get out of control
*Do not fly in more than 12 knots of wind
