Bryson shot even par over 6 holes with a Walmart junior set in a recent video, so I think there is a strong "archer vs. arrow" case to be made.
This is true, but fitting a great archer with the best arrows only makes them that much better.

I have one myself. This is the best driver I have ever had in my hands. Used a PXG and a Callaway Rogue (fitted) before that. The Krank is the best one I have ever owned.

One thing I love about the Krank driver is they give you a very generous high/toe area where I usually end up on a miss. The $150 off coupon makes it competitively priced. The biggest reason I ended up passing was the only two choices of a shaft were ones I was not familiar with.

It's very true what he said about advertising, I think most people would never buy a driver from a small brand like this until it was endorsed by some professional or youtuber. I remember seeing these drivers a while ago and thinking they were cool but I didn't consider buying one until now. I also never would have bought anything kirkland branded lol.

Just got this Krank Formula Fire Pro 9* had a rattle in the head after 3 rounds they replaced it. These drivers are no joke. They are incredibly long and straight. Customer Service is fantastic. Only downside is yes they are not the best to look down at but when you see the ball flight you get over the looks very quickly!

I made the switch too. First thing I noticed was not the extra spring, but it just seems straighter. I need to hop on the launch monitor and get data, but on course, just been solid.

I have a ball speed of 190 - 195mph and would love to get fit or at least try one of these drivers. I live near their HQ... i reached out to them and they dont do any fittings or have any locations to offer fittings. very odd. I know for 1 they are missing out of sales because of this. at least from me.

btw youre not using Bryson's Driver, his driver is fully customized , has different head size, different loft. He wont even talk about it yet so yeah you can only suppose what he is using. So technicaly youre not playing with Brysons driver, youre only playing with bryson's driver brand
And he is still all over the place with it. Sure he hits some phenomenal shots but for the most part his fairways in regulation stat sucks.
Krank Driver is one of the best i used to hit with a Callaway Epic max and now with the Krank driver forget it. I will not change for another driver

I’ve been using the pro model 9 degree head turned to 11, in the 3 rounds I’ve played haven’t missed the fairway yet
At 190mph ball speed, driver face can flatten quickly. How about at 160mph, will the face still get deformed over time?

Wonder which model mygolfspy tested. They said it was the shortest driver in their 2024 driver testing.
Mygolfspy is half pay to win from the manufacturers. Krank doesn’t have taylormade or callaway to be front of the pack. Besides that, they’re made for swing speeds only few can hit- as in 115mph isn’t fast enough to get the full effect of the face. You have to be swinging 125+ to really get the face to get a proper rebound.
Some advice: It's the player, not the driver.
I just wish their drivers werent so ugly, id be wayyy more inclined to give them a shot if they just had an all flat black option or some option with not as much red and silly flames on it. I dont really like stealths for this same reason but i will say its much much better looking than the krank, its more elogantly done than bright red and frames if that makes sense. I think the visual aspect of a driver to a golfer is a huge deal.

What loft was the driver you’re using?
What works for Bryson may not work for you. Never be a bandwagon follower. Get fitted for your driver and fairway woods. Take plenty of practice swings with all sorts of different brands clubs. Most really good golf outfitters will have an indoor or even outdoor range with a good selection of clubs to try. The only thing about Bryson's strategy/philosophy on clubs I'm beginning to come around to his one shaft length for all the iron clubs. This makes for a more consistent swing on all of your clubs. You would of course have to take plenty of range time because of this to determine your club lengths with the new shaft lengths.

Not exactly the same. Bryson is using the LD head. That's formula fire pro. I have the pro and I need to spend more time with it. I have the same shaft setup on the FFP 7.5 degree head and my ping g430 LST set to 7.5 that I've been gaming for a year. I'm getting the same carry and ball speeds out of them. If I'm honest I have gotten 1-2mph faster ball speed with the Krank. Technically the shaft in my Krank is 1/4 of an inch longer so I'm not blown away by such similar ball speeds. 163mph ball 290 carry. I'm no banger like yourself, yet
I'm using 80 gram Hzrdus Black TX in both. 45.75" in the Ping, 46" in the Krank
@@noworriesmanping is the way to go. Using an old g30 ls that always puts me comfortably 280-330 in the fairway.
@oozu-maki4488 yes, but the krank is impressive that I've hit maybe 40 balls with it and it goes toe to toe with my ping. My miss is towards the toe and the krank doesn't feel as friendly as the ping does, but the krank does feel stupid good with center strikes. You should try the new tech my guy. I catch one bottom face with my 430 LST and it keeps the ball speed up pretty wildly. I get terrible miss hits on occasion that only loose 20-30 yards. Lol
@@noworriesman Yeah, I wish I could but I don't got that kind of money lol. But I am not too worried about my current set anyways. Feels good to me and I did not break the bank. And at the end of the day, I still am the one swinging the club so I only have myself to blame on a shitty shot.

If your ball speed is above 195 it’s good lol
its better for slower ball speeds, thinner face than the leading brands which means you'll get more spring effect which means the ball will go further

Finally. I've been playing Krank drivers and occasionally the fairway woods. Easy to hit. Long. Durable.....but ugly. Can you tell Lance that flames were played out in 1998? I love the driver, if golf were played in the dark, it would be perfect.
Been using crank for 15 years.Looks mean nothing.Distance means everything so keep using it and look at the ball not the head

What loft and shaft did you use on your krank driver
I use mine at 10.5. The ball launches on a 45-degree launch and just keeps going. Gained 30-40 yards a few shots 50 yards.
