Amazing. I'm doing a roadtrip to Scotland in September and Cairngorms is day 1! Cant wait. Thanks for sharing

Enjoy!! It’s a great road. Depending on your plans if you’re up around Loch Lomond, definitely take a route up to the Trossachs. The A821 (Dukes’ pass) from Aberfoyle is another great road, in fact any road that branches off that is stunningly winding. Have a great time!

Thank you 🙏 greatly appreciated. That was a very brave sheep, and nearly costly sheep 🐑!

Cheers Gavin, appreciated. I guess the old military road wants to remain less known :D

Best road in the UK, drive it regularly. Every new car I buy gets taken up there in its first week! On car 28 now. oh......nice sheep dodge!

What a way to bond with a new car, love that. I took a 570s up to the Trossachs last time I was in Sctoland, wasn't quite the same, regretted not heading east to the A93! That sheep was very nearly an expensive bumper warmer!

Definitely a majestic road, possibly you may have just nudged over the speed limit... It is a wonderful road, I used to use part of it for commuting in a Caterham (the long way round) between Edinburgh and Aberdeen and to see a pal (Scottish) who had a funky house in Tomintoul. Glad you had fun.

Commuting in a Caterham... sounds like a pretty good gig!! Thank you, it's a great bit of road. Your trips sound equally if not more fun. Any other recommendations?

@@adventurebasics There's a great loop from Brechin over the Cairn o Mount pass to Aboyne, Braemar and back via Glen Isla.

Pretty sure that it is Marr lodge, near Braemar. If I remember correctly it has an insane amount of animals hanging off the walls. Have a look on Google.
