How did you get the big metal cover off? That'd the exact reason I was watching this video. I can't figure that out. Sounded like you pushed a button and your machine moved. 😡
Betsy - Let me make you a quick video. There is a little 'button' thing down under the right side (take your extension off to only have the free arm) ... push it down, and the little plate will pop up.
Thank you!!! I never knew it 😅 I cleaned mine often but never oiled it😢
If it is sounding a little rough, it might help. Just give it a drop, let the air bubble escape and repeat a couple of times.
Thank you for taking time to make this video. It was very helpful!
Thank you so very much for sharing this video!... (I am a visual learner, and this was sweet and easy to do!)....
Country Lane4711 -- It was my pleasure. Any other ideas of what you want to learn on your machine -- just let me know.
@@DonnasCreativeAdventures thanks so much!....I will certainly do that!....
Thank you! Is this the only place that needs to be oiled?
It is the easiest place that you can get to that can be oiled.
Thanks, I didn’t realise the bobbin area needed oiling
Just remember -- add a drop and let it be absorbed, then add another.
Thanks for showing. I never oil the bobbin area in a computerized machine, but I’m gonna try soon.
Just make sure it is sewing machine oil. Put a drop, let it bubble (air escaping the wick and oil going down in), repeat until you don't get a bubble.
Thank you!
