The Queen Anne style bedroom set I bought in 1998, came with a large armoire. You would have used that for a tube tv back in the day. I put shelves in it and now I store my perfume in there. It’s dark. But I also keep all the original boxes/packaging which keeps the fragrances in the dark. It’s very cool in my bedroom as well, so I’m hoping all these factors will give longer life to the perfumes. I have mostly niche fragrances because I like mysterious, unique and different. (10 designers, 51 niche. A total of 61, and yes, I’m done.) My collection has grown too large and I don’t want them to waste.
I went a little crazy during the pandemic. Not out of boredom, but because c-19 hit me and my family so hard. Very hard. Now, my attitude is YOLO. Buy what you want/love and enjoy. Life is short and sometimes shit…and getting shittier every day. If you love perfume and it brings you a little happiness, don’t wait. Get it. There may not be a tomorrow.
I really want to get back into perfumes! After 4 kids I just havnt been able to afford perfume but I use to have such a love for perfumes and really want to get back into them they really help boost your mood!

I store my perfumes in the exact same drawer set! The colours in descending order… pink, red, orange, yellow, green, turquoise, royal blue, purple 😊

I absolutely love your reviews! I've gotten hooked on so many of your recommendations. I stumbled on a great combo you may love. Try layering the Aerin Mediterranean Honeysuckle Clementina and Guerlain Aqua Allegoria Mandarin Basilic Forte. Unbelievably beautiful and summery and lasts all day!

The floral street you speak of is, I heard, a dupe for Mac yum yum but not sure how close. Also, the escada you mentioned is still being sold here in the US . I find a lot of ones that are discontinued get brought back out to be sold again during the changing of seasons like I'll see more aquatic ones when summer approaches. Unsure if they are really old or from original company or redone, though, but they are legit and not fakes

Wow epic collection ❤❤❤ I am a loyal fan. I have subscribed like 3 years ago 😊 I am hesitant between buying J'adore and Jo Malone Peony blush and suede. I am clearly a floral girl by heart. I wish my collection was as impressive as yours, I love how you give all price points their due, don't get me wrong I live a niche fragrance and I have to save for them I do have more of the mid range but I have some really great affordable fragrances that are great for the office or throwing in my gym bag and some that really hold special memories for me. Deep night by ghost was bought for me by a friend many years ago as a Christmas present, my signature was pure poison at the time and she couldn't afford to spend that kind of cash so purchased deep night instead I love it, it reminds me of her and I always keep in in my collection. Thanks for showing us ❤

Also, you may have spoken about this previously but wondering if you incorporate body sprays as an added layer to your scent of the day or fragranced body lotions?

Out of curiosity; Is there a special reason why you open perfume boxes from the bottom, and not top? I noticed it when you were showing some of the boxes.. Just curious if it's better that way somehow! Thanks :)
I open from the bottom when it looks obvious the cellophane will open more cleanly there and allow me to keep it on as further protection for the box. My taste seems to change constantly, so I often sell my perfumes, and I think the buyers like this because the packaging still looks practically new. Otherwise, it really isn't necessary unless one has mild OCD. 😅
