There's a lot of liminal space games out there but I've probably played this one the most. The scale of its map is astounding (I probably played it four times before I can say I've seen the whole thing), and it gets atmosphere better than most of its peers. I know what to expect now when I play it but it will still inevitably get me paranoid like clockwork no matter what
I downloaded and played for awhile. I really enjoyed it. I love the mysterious vibe of exploring a place that you have no idea how it was built or what it's purpose is. I doubt I explored the whole map. I really hope the dev adds more locations soon, and maybe some objectives or something.
I like the everything that's good about the back rooms liminal space/ entities all the levels the growth of it from level 0 to level 12 to what we have now I seen it grow since the beginning
@@djangosouthwest6043 I look at it like this....okay you no clipped there and then what... you walk around until you die? Or spice it up and be like u walk around until you die....or..... you walk around until you die by a monster lol
Your game looks nice. But in this form, it's just like a walking simulation. For example, if some water bodies become infected with bacteria and the character dies from the disease, the player will be more careful.Floods that occur at random intervals in some sections, that is, the rise of the water, will make the player nervous. Various creatures that appear in the dark parts of the map will allow the player to move throughout the map. Thanks for your great work.
You actually dont need entities the whole aspect of being stuck in this area with no way out is terrifying in itself! Send those ideas to the creator of this demo.. you never know.
Not that I am for or against entities in them, but if you watch the “found footage“ videos of the back rooms, most of them Show an entity encounter at the end of it, usually with the camera person suffering an unknown or unfortunate fate. It never shows them managing to get away, and the camera eventually just shutting off as they keep exploring. Basically, the entities feel as though they are there mainly for the entertainment value, to give the video an obstacle or threat for the cameraman to overcome or escape. Of course, also, for the extra dimensional nature of the Backrooms, but still, most every video?
There is an ending, it involves a flashlight and entering the door with the hazard symbol above it in the beginning. There is a way to die, but I'll leave that up to you to figure out...
If you’re talking about the song at the start of the video then I think it’s called “all you are going to want to do is get back there” from The Caretaker. I think it’s slowed down and reverbed in the game’s menu though 🤔. But the music that plays from the radio in game I’m still unsure about, sorry. I think contacting the developer for the name should work like biscuit said
@@nesalroblox4831 ahhh, yeah I was talking about the music that rings out throughout the whole demo. The piece you mentioned to me sounds beautiful anyway, though. I hadn't heard about that, and I'm definitely going to add that to a playlist some time. Thank you for trying to help!
@@ButtaMilkBiscuitsGamingis hardly a monster though, it’s not scary and it runs away, oooo what a monster. Also from what I’ve seen it’s just in certain scripted areas. It svcks. This game looks promising but they’re squandering that promise
@@deanfowles3707 I agree, but its just chasing you, yes it does run away when you first see it, but it does follow you. You do get glimpses of the monster why running around tho. It isnt scary, its a different looking entity tho.
I have seen one in this demo, looks like a black stick figure. I'd be sad if there were too many..The entities take away from the experience, even subtle ones, in my opinion. Unnecessary and unrealistic, a very cheesy contrast to the rest of the atmosphere 💀
Why don't you start uploading horror content? Most of your horror contents are gaining more views than your other contents. Which means that your audience are interest in watching your horror content. I'm curious on watching horror contents, it will never get me bored, especially with your voice. If you were to reveal your voice while playing horror contents, it will even be surprising to watch. I hope you would see my review, because I enjoy this video.
Actually i didnt notice that, I saw The Backrooms stuff getting noticed and all, and you're right about my other stuff barely ever getting traction. Sucks tho I really wanted to balance everything on here from Fighting, Racing, SpaceSims, and everything i can think of. I figured not to do commentary because i have a nasally voice lol and i breathe hard lol. And I want you all to enjoy the game and not have me yacking over it. And honestly i work full-time so its hard to put this stuff out, but I will surely take ur advice. And if you have any horror games in mind let me know... And Ill look into it. I appreciate the comment and thanks for the support.
I do appreciate what they’re doing for but for god sake Put a decent monster in the game or is gonna get boring real quick. Play some amnesia tdd or something. You need something like that. Most people don’t have a massive phobia of weirdly lit pool areas or strange architecture so it’s gonna fail as a horror game
He needs to do himself a favour and not listen to people like you, the ambiance and the concept of the poolrooms/backrooms IS the monster. Monsters like you're describing erase all tension and distract you from the endless torment of losing yourself in liminal environments. Go play slenderman, you don't understand what liminal horror is.
@@LightshifterGame I guess if just the space itself is supposed to be the horror then I don’t get it. I appreciate that some places are eerie but that eeriness is gonna wear off pretty quick if you know there’s nothing after you

You're welcome
You say non-horror, but I have never been more freaked out in a game than this one.

Its cool how much of the lore is being explored and expanded upon. But sometimes the basics is the best.

I guess it would depend on where you fell asleep at...the entities would getcha.
