one way i lost was because of my family having a conversation and my earbuds picked up what sounded like “hey siri” and it opened a voice control panel on my screen. forced me to undercharge a drill run from my sandslash onto a toxapex
Especially elo range dependent. Once you get to 2800s in UL later in the season every team has a shadow gator for instance. Still this looks to be a team that can hold its own.
@@MrWhale1 WHY is no one else talking about this??!! I cannot tell you *how* many times I have waited the turn and next thing I know 4 turns of damage all register at once!
Brave of you to play GBL in a car meta... My most horrifying / infuriating loss happened in an early season in the UL. I had destroyed 2 mons without using a shield and it was a shieldless Gengar in back. The game then completely froze. It was like someone had flipped a switch upon realizing victory wasn't possible. Entirely suspect.
I’m so pissed because I invested in a ton of incubators for eggs and I’ve probably hatched 75 or so and I’ve gotten TWO Corsola. One has been my buddy since basically day one just for XL’s and I have 15. It’s absurd.
Have you powered it up until level 40? I was in the same situation and I found out that the higher CP you have on your buddy, the more chances you have of getting candy XL. Once I powered up mine to level 40, I got pretty much 1 candy XL every walking cycle (3km).
@ I haven’t done that yet because I didn’t want to invest too heavily in to it because I would prefer to get the necessary candies and then do some trading but I did get one of the best egg IV’s and my patience is wearing thin so I might just do that. Thank you for the advice
For the quick attack, do you guys prioritize dps or eps? I’m struggling. Can’t climb the elite ladder no matter how much I change up my team. I bounce as low as 1450 to 1620 when I’m trying to get the special costume parts or getting to ace but season after season I can’t seem to get higher than where I am now and just quit.
Can anyone explain why he didn’t want to hit his charged moves in the first match against gator? Is it so you can farm energy in between moves then go for your own back to back moves?
It all comes down to counting the opponents fast moves. When you know how much energy they have, and you know when the optimal times to throw a move are you can accurately guess when an opponent will throw their move. Also, during a CMP tie, there is a very apparent animation stall that you can see and will recognize with experience and when you become familiar with meta IV spread and specific pokemon, you will know if you always win or lose a CMP tie or if they run a high attack pokemon compared to meta IV spreads you are taking a gamble if you will win. TLDR, know fast move counts, meta IV spreads, which pokemon are High att stat wise and always win and look for the animation stall from the opponent. Hope this helps.
Tried out Primeape for the first time today Was fortunate to catch a rank 1 Primeape and Rank 1 Annihilape (traded). So used it as lead with CC and Rage fist with Shadow Gatr and Alolan Slash. I didn't not like it at all. People don't respect Rage Fist so started going straight CC but often that didn't KO and had to either give up my Fighter or give up shields. In scenarios where I used Rage Fist, it kept getting farmed down in 1s and 2s. Often had to catch moves to win It might be good but I feel very awkward playing with it and often have to go down shields early cuz it barely can take hits. I did go 3-2 and 4-1 but both sets most matches my other two mons put in work. It might be my team was bad, but still it's a mon I did not like to use at all. Swapped for Annihilape and got better results. TLDR: I think Primeape sucks. Barely want bulk and not enough attack, just a Shield sink. Ran on lead. What am I missing? Because it felt bad against almost everything I went against. The only positive matchup in those 10 games was against a Dunsparce, a Morpeko and a Miltank. All other mons hard/soft countered it. Is it that my matchup luck was bad or am I using it wrong? PS: Swapped it for Shadow Sableye and went 5-0, 4-tie
You have to get used to it. You’ll learn what you can 1 shot and what you can’t. I use it safe swap only. As a swap you’ll get 1 or 2 karate chop head start and then you out pace everything so much that you’ll often have back to back CCs ready. If you don’t like baiting then you won’t have too. When you start to get a feel for when people will respect a CC then you can start baiting but often rage fist will do sufficient damage to be worth using. Use the primeape with something that has bulk and will also take shields to get a shield advantage and then let primeape go nuts.
@siinzz0612 hmm alright I'll try it as safe swap. Although frankly something so technical isn't for me especially cuz I often miss a couple fast moves due framedrops and game freezes. Plus would rather use Shadow Gallade if I want something that's good but will force me to play out of my mind to win
Last night in kings stream you were a topic for a few mins people were talking about you.. “Henry is cracked” “he is to good” “math wiz” it shows here in the video.
I dident have anyone I wasn't best friends with to trade corsola but I ended up with a 5/6/5 and it's actually able to be best buddy boosted but idk if it's as good as the rank 1 level 50
I think I got you beat on the worst way to lose a match. I was fighting a battle once and my pokemon just straight up stopped attacking. Nothing wrong with my phone, my phone data was fine, it just... Stopped. Gave up I guess. I had to watch my team get beat down while my pokemon were just paralyzed
Dudeeeeee something similar happened to me, I got a phone call from my friend while I was playing GBL and it lagged me from being able to shield an attack 😂 so I definitely feel your pain I ended that set 4-1 because of the phone call smh lol
It's funny how you point out all there errors and you ask if anyone's had a weirder loss than that in GO Battle League. I defenitely have because I only ever got to Ace, I don't even play Pokemon GO anymore, I just watch your videos because they're incredibly fun and well made. I never knew counts, matchups, sometimes even struggled with type advantages. I was quite horrible lol. I understand the things you say, but I could never implement them in my own play.
I honestly thought his next video would have been about how to fix the lag issues on android phones. Nevertheless, I like the team 😊 PS: rather than a nerf to Drapion, I would prefer better counters.
I love when they bring out that annoying ass asumaril. I just bring out my shadow tentacruel and that little blue thing run for the fences fast as my opponent brought it out 😂. Than they hit me either play rough or ice beam which I don't block than I just farm all the way down with a little under hundred energy than I let loose with tentacruel. That's been my saving grace for that annoying ass azumaril and fairy users. Bring them on my tentacruel waiting for you 😈.

I was about to ask for same

How about Dusknoir or jellicent as corsola option? And qwillfish/overqwil as drapion option?

Hmmm a team without Feraligatr, now that's interesting 😂
Cress switch because no steels?
If this team leads into Toxapex, it better PRAY the Drapion safe switch baits out the inevitable Diggersby that’s with it.
