I love how you go step by step with the narration, so many other videos say step by step by they just draw without explanation. Keep up the great work.

Hi, Chris. That owl is absolutely amazing. Please continue to inspire other people to pick up a pencil and start drawing. I draw a lot of Barn Owls, either perched or perched with prey. Or in flight. I'm stuck in a city so I very rarely get a chance to go out with my sketch pad and catch some real life. I've a special request I would like to ask of you. Could please draw a Kingfisher when you can find the time. Peace and thank you for all the work you do. You're inspiring people. I've always loved art, right from the time I was a small child. And I got to be reasonabley good. and then I lost my left index finger in an accident. (I'm left handed) So I stopped drawing and painting for a long time. But after seeing an improvement in my hand-writing, I managed to do some preliminary sketches. And they came out ok, and I've been improving on a daily basis. Thanks to you and Tom at Circle Line Art School, Mark Crilley, and Leonardo at Fine Art Tips. So always know you guys are very much appreciated. Peace from Ireland.

No doubt the most beautiful drawing of an owl that I've ever seen. I see so many artists hold the pencil upright while adding value and it comes out to even. No matter how hard I try, I can't do it because the marks come out too dark or even.

    • @Peaches__Creme

In the words of bob ross: “We don't make mistakes, just happy little accidents." Turn those crooked lines or little over shading into something new and beautiful. ❤❤❤

Thank You, I never thought it possible for me to sketch a somewhat realistic owl and when I got to the feathers and shading I felt defeated. I am so glad I found your video! I'm a visual learner and without your video I probably would not have finished. My friend who has been down and out lately asked me to draw her an owl last December and it has been bothering me up until now...I'd attach it but don't know how. You've inspired me to keep on drawing.

Mr. Chris I Love Your Tutorial Specially Owls Are Among My Favorites .I'm 69 Years Old And I Started Drawing at the age of 8th.and always carry in my pockets a piece of pencil and used the concrete floors to sharpen them .back then in Puerto Rico things were limited .God Bless You And I'll Follow You .one thing I'm blind on my left eye but still have my touch .now I draw and Paint on Denim Jackets and people buy's them in Manhattan ,N.Y. at a Store they sales them over $ 500.00 and mines are originals in Acrylics for $ 100.00 . take care
