This is violinical engineering and one of a kind with this humanistic attitude of respect ,gentleness and knowledge. Not even enough to mention how crazy you play. i am sooo amazed and hope that you raise a generation with this perfect playing and teaching skills❤️❤️❤️
This is truly a wonderful masterclass .The approach is a combination of stylistic and stage performance considerations with proper technical advices to achieve the required sound and articluation needed for each part simply sublime please keep posting more.
Agreed. I've only watched 10 minutes so far and this is already one of the best masterclasses I've seen. He is communicating so much information so efficiently, really making the most of the time.
I don't play the violin, I'm a amateur singer and I was mesmerized by this wonderful masterclass. It resonated in my way of apprehending singing and I'm sure it will help me ! Merci beaucoup M. Troussov, vous êtes merveilleux.
Now I have seen this masterclass a million times, I am practicing this one too next to the 5th sonata. Trying to adapt all tips. You're not only a good violinist, but also a great teacher who explains the music very well. And the student is a very good learner.
I've watched this masterclass over 20 times. Thank you for sharing. This is one of the best masterclasses. Please continue to share your insight, experience and wisdom with us!
The pianist is lit No joke Striking fire into the hearts of people. Silent killer. Congratulations Maestro Amazing masterclass. Learnt many new things from you. Viva la musique !! Viva la Vida !!! ❤❤ from Kolkata
Just perfect, how he so clearly describes what he would improve ("is it Piazzolla?") but never is impolite or rude. As an amateur violinist I just feel how he tries to bring the good performance to a superior one (although I will never achieve even the original level)
He certainly has a unique way of teaching the dynamics of this piece, along with the intricacies of bow use to make that happen. Very insightful - Thanks!
Wonderful masterclass! I am a singer, but this takes me back to my masterclass days when I was young. Mr. Troussov plays like a singer! Norman is already very good, but the things you have shown him here will make the difference between "good" and "excellent." I enjoyed this so much and look forward to more.
Whenever I am not inspired to practicing (I am an amateur) I watch this video or your tutorial on the Carmen Fantasy and it works all the time: After some minutes I am so inspired and eager so I just need to practice myself. Within two seconds you make not only your musical idea clear but also teach the engineer in each violinist how to reach the goal of this musical expression technically - wow! Hardly ever questions or doubts remain. If I had a wish free it would be more such tutorials of you on this platform. Thank you for this inspiration and knowledge
What a terrific masterclass! Norman plays very well, very musically with an excellent tone, but you were able to add so much from the perspective of a concert violinist who knows how capture an audience and take them on a more dynamic ride. It was the difference between "That's lovely" and "that's f...... Beethoven!" Plus you showed him how technically and he responded. No pretension - it was all about performing Beethoven effectively. Bloody good pianist too!!
Hoffe weitere folgen
superb sensitivity to the quality and dynamics of sound and excellent responsive interaction between maestro and student... An instructive and engrossing Masterclass, thank you !!
I'm very happy that I can see this video! so I always see your Instagram's video's! I don't get tired of your playing . Professor!!!!I love you ❤️❤️❤️❤️
Why am I only just discovering this brilliant violinist? In my opinion he is as good as any of the great violinists out there today. From what I can see in this video he's also an excellent teacher. Oh and the student is a pretty decent violinist as well.
MIL GRACIAS!!! Qué privilegiados estos alumnos!!!!!
so much high quality information so quickly but man I can't help but wonder if anyone can digest all of this in one go. Bravo to this student. Bravo to this teacher. Bravo to the pianist lol.
....I just discovered this great violinist. I was listening to the great Aaron Rosand playing Bruch 'Scottish Fantasy' with piano and saw Mr. Troussov on the queue list. I thought I'd give it a listen since I've never heard of him. Like Heiftez and Rosand , he doesn't use the shoulder rest, and has mastered the wrist vibrato.
Great teaching and very precise, how wonderful to be your student.
This is amazing! 🤩 I’ve played this before, but now I feel like there’s still so much that I need to learn! Very inspiring! I definitely learned a lot!!
What a great brain and musicianship. And, a character, too. Very talented fiddle player and funny, too. Another wonderful example of the Russians’ contribution to sustaining classical music and high culture. For the above, I’ve often thought of retiring to Russia. David
wow, so much important information about music and technique. I have been in the audience listening to your masterclass at the Mozarteum in Salzburg last year, superb teaching and approach!
This is how teaching is supposed to be! For the viewers, every masterclass should include an instrument swap too. So often I heard "The teacher's violin sounds so much better", where in fact he/she just utilizes the instrument much better.
This is not a documentation about some former legendary violinist and teacher like Leopold Auer. This just happened some time ago in real. Amazing, isn't it? I hope that this really outstanding testimony won't get lost.
I enjoyed watching this, I’ve decided to pick my violin back up after years of not playing. I missed it, just invested in a better one. Looking forward to getting back to where I was and better 🎻 🙂
Ms. Troussov, can You advise me, please, what a need to do, if i have a wolf tone in note, and and i need to play this note near the bridge(close to the bridge), but i have a wolf tone, so, what i need to do?((
Not only is the teacher and violinist good....but the pianist is a "behind the scene" marvel in this video!!!
Yes!pianist is top!:)
Hahaahaha it's SO funny to watch you teach. You speak in technical terms, and the music starts flying everywhere. It's just amazing. Thank you!
Thanks for the nice comment:)

3:45 "Don't try to start, try to join" This honestly resonated a lot mixed with the insight in this video.

Maybe in the near future.
Kirill Troussov
Kirill Troussov

A lot of common sense!! Lovely!
Chique demais aqui no Brazil
Damn this is really good

Ms. Troussov, can You advise me, please, what a need to do, if i have a wolf tone in note, and and i need to play this note near the bridge(close to the bridge), but i have a wolf tone, so, what i need to do?((
First you need to put the bow on the string, then add some weight from the arm, wen pull with very fast begining speed then slow down the speed.
@@KirillTroussov_violinist And what i need to do with vibrato?
Kirill is very entertaining!
So ein schönen Klang zu haben.... 👍 Wie kann man das lernen?!
Danke!
Dear Kirill, this is a Stradivari "Brodsky" ?)
Yes:)
🌹❤
:)
do masters use another violin for teaching?
I use the same violin!
Is that a carbon bow you're using?
Yes,:)
Oh my god 😂😂 So funny! And very very helpful!!
